- Here is an easy mod to getting rid of blow by for your Harley Davidson M 8. Less than $15.00 mod. Once added nothing but cold fresh air into the intake. Also will save your pistons. This mod will work on other bikes as well although it would be a little different setup. You can also hide the filter if you want a cleaner look.

Very cogent overview, fully understandable and I think I could even repeat that job (and I don't know a motorcycle from my olden ten speed bike). (Glad to hear the old gentleman driving the Zimmer frame, you helped, ended up home safely and I hope his family can keep him that way in future - heat exhaustion, I guess, emergency service thought? Texas heat might just do that.)
What are you going to do when oil starch coming out of that filter and getting all over your bike?
I don't know how you know what you know but I can be sure a lot of guys would be very grateful for all your helpful information. Can't believe this is still an issue. My '91 Evo used to do that, fixed it by changing out the air filter for one that had better flow. And it was carb, not EFI.

what size socket bolt to take out the breather bolt?
Interesting. But where is the oil coming out of the crankcase going to?

what happened to the elderly gentleman you helped with the walker? is he OK...what happened after ambulance came?
Yes he is fine. The heat and walking got to him. After medical checked him and he refused to go to the hospital the officers gave him a ride home.
