The fact that it was two guys on Harleys and a gal with tattoos coming to the rescue tells me a lot. As a child I grew up in the house that looked down on people like that but I have learned in life those kind of people are usually the ones that have a heart of gold. My best friend rides a Harley shovelhead with ape hangers, wears leather gear with flames and has tattoos. Also rescues abandoned baby animals.

My mother is 91 years old between my brother and I we take her to church every sunday and we have breakfast with her every Wednesday she says we make her very happy and proud, her body is frail but her mind is sharp, thank you for helping this gentleman it brought tears to my eyes

no there doesn't need to be more ppl like him, we all have to do better, i know i wouldn't dream of passing someone in trouble, i had addicted friends in Dublin in the 90s drug and drug over dose was a huge problem in the city i saved more than i can count, one girl i was sure was dead n gone she was not even blue anymore she was just snow white, hadn't taken a stable breath in a while before i arrived, the guy who was with her had seen me work on another person who went into a bathroom in my neighbours house and i was able to get him back breathing so the kid called me then tried to leave the place thank god I'd already called the cops to help n they stopped him at the door, I Tell ya i got value out of that 1 first air course i did in girl guilds I stopped counting at around 30 saved ppl from over dose but these can be very selfish ppl, he would have left her, same kid died alone in his garden shed not long after, but that girl Linda is clean and living her best life that episode scared the life out of her where she went and got clean, I've not seen her in years, which is a good thing, means she's staying away from this area, I should have trained to be a paramedic or something, I'm very cool when under pressure like that, I've also seen the opposite of that where ppl freak out n that's nuts to me, no help what's so ever...These days I keep A naltrexone injection in the car, last person I tried to help Was the only death, he was an old school friends dad who had a heart attack but i didn't know if cpr was the best option i just wasn't sure, he wasn't breathing but was also pumping blood from his head, i decided breathing was VIP, after that i can worry about bleeding, he was dead as soon as he fell n i have to say i felt horrible about it for a long time after. Doctors said even the best doc with the best equipment may not have been able to save him. I often wondered if i had updated my first aid course could the outcome have been different, so i update it every year now, n i haven't seen many over doses since.. typical but its still feels good to be prepared..

well, this well-done video may be just the thing that Lord knows how many,
will now be inspired by. Or that maybe dozens of peeps will now feel empowered, or enlightened by, due to these really kind-hearted, exceptional people. And, even though it is so, don’t
be shocked that it was three bikers that
stopped, took action, and led the way, to quickly step into action, to give this elderly gentleman the compassion and care & the assistance that he greatly needed and didn’t even realize.
The quick, bold actions of the first biker
to stop and take action may well have saved the elderly gentleman’s life.
as often happens, once one person starts to fix a problem. Get things started, others perhaps more timid,
or driving HUA, see the need and
      join in to offer help.
A righteous thank you is also due
for the PD and EMS that responded.
God brought s lot of puzzle pieces into
action that day. He managed to shake all the puzzle pieces into the right place, all at just the right time.

When I left the first time was when he said he didn’t need EMS. When I left and went around the block and stopped to watch him that is when I saw him fall into the ally. When I pulled up the second time you could tell by looking at him he was dazed. Called the police who in turn called EMS - they checked him and since he could answer their questions they could not take him to the hospital as he refused. The officers took him home. The only reason there was not any additional video was because the GoPro died. I am not going to explain in the description everything that took place - the majority of people figure it out with their common sense. Cheers!!! 🍺🍺

This tone would be right for all the automobilists that just flew by the old man feet away. Not the only guy that did what he could think of in the moment. Yes, a professional would have handled it differently, but this guy was not a professional, just a caring citizen! Maybe you would handle it better. As would I, cause I've had some training. But it's always better to do something, than to do nothing (well, almost always) and he stepped up! The ONLY one that did! I think you should have shown some more respect in your reaction bud.

Everyone else flew by the old man and did nothing, so it must have been something else than right place, right time. It would be nice if more people did First Aid courses and were more aware of medical problems, how to recognize and treat (as in First Aid) them.
I also think the biker held back with calling an ambulance right away, cause you Americans have a shitty health care system and he didn't want to get the old man in financial trouble for a ride in the ambulance.

Your assistance cannot be understated. You may very well have saved this man’s life. My heart swells knowing that young people stopped to render assistance. Bikers and young people often get a bad rap from people who judge on appearances. There are a till good people in the world willing to step up and give a helping hand with eyes wide open. Thank you

When he was found by a passerby much like yourself they stayed with him until the authorities showed up. Thankfully, he was wearing an ID bracelet and they knew where to take him. When they asked him where he was going, he told them "To his house to get a couple of cigars, because he was out ." Only thing is is that he hadn't had a cigar in over a year since he had a stroke that left him unable to care for himself. My dad is getting to be this man's age, and I hope that if this ever happened to him, that someone as caring as you would stop and assist him. Thanks for what you did. I'm only 61 and am sure I can do things I did when I was younger. Sure hope there are people that truly care about others when I set out on my explorations in a few years. This is a testimony to just being human and watching over your fellow man!

This shows the true meaning of love thy neighbor and shatters the stereotype that society has placed upon Harley riders. It also shows no matter what happens in life our elderly and children should be taken care of no matter the circumstances or the color of our skin...God bless for doing the right thing🙏

Most Harley riders are just riders of the brand. I've rubbed elbows with a few over the years, being a BMW rider myself. We like to tease each other about the scooter... but we all love the ride.

Most Harley riders that I know are retired engineers, techs, teachers, military, etc. In other words just like people that don't ride Harleys, except they ride. Harleys these days are EXPENSIVE, so you have to have at least a fair bit of money or good credit to even own one.

So many stories I see today show selfishness, hatred and make me wonder how people can be so unkind. Thank you for reminding me that many people still care for others even if they are helpless strangers. The Bible contains an amazing parable of the “Good Samaritan”. The 1st biker is a Good Samaritan, so are the second biker, the young lady, the police officers and the EMTs. We do have angels among us. Many thanks to all who helped. God Bless you always.

My grandfather had dementia and once walked out of the nursing home and got lost. If it hadn’t been for a kind and vigilant person like you who found him wandering on the side of the road and could tell he was confused and needed help, it’s very possible we might’ve never seen him again. Because of that guy, I got to enjoy another 3 years with my grandfather and he was able to pass comfortably in a place that was familiar to him with loved ones by his side, instead of possibly losing his life in an awful accident.

Heartbreaking to know that NOT one car stopped to help this man.
It took a motorcyclist to stop and show this man love.
I myself have stopped to help someone many times when no one else would.
I ride a Harley, and some of the kindest hearted people I have ever met were on an infamous loud "obnoxious" Harley.
Thanks for stopping to help this man.

All 3 of those young people restore my hope in our young generation. They truly cared about that gentleman and did everything they could to help him. The first young to see him then go to the next u-turn section in the road to go back and check/help him brought tears to my eyes. Then to use his bike to block traffic while he got off his bike and help the man out of the road just stole my heart. I know God was smiling down seeing the love, concern, and giving of themselves for a stranger in need. We need a lot more people like these wonderful young men and girl. Thank you so much for restoring my hope in our future society.

Lubbock, Texas was in my territory for 5 years in the early 80's (back when the Oil Boom went Bust), and some of the best people in the world live in Lubbock, Amarillo, the Permian Basin, and West Texas. People there will stop to help you when you are in trouble. I'm rapidly approaching my late 70's, and I totally understand not wanting to just "give-up" and keep trying to do things for yourself. I just hope if I'm ever in a similar situation, there will be good people like the 2 bikers and angel of mercy that went and got water to try to help re-hydrate him are around. Good Samaritans all!!!! Great Job!!!!
