I can't believe Jimmy is always listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks while he works
Wow, that was awesome! That chunk of damascus sat on my shelf for many years, then I gave it to Jimmy as an icebreaker when I got to meet him. Glad to see it made into something cool. Cheers!
Daniel!! Thank you brother!!! thank you!
You didn't just make it ANY sword, you made it one of THE MOST PAINFUL swords possible. Props
kris from Indonesia, formerly the largest kingdom in Southeast Asia (Majapahit in Java) controlled the current region of Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and the southern Philippines, so the keris is spread in many areas.
i dont know if anyone else feels this way but it just feels right to watch a diresta video with the odd but enjoyable squeak of the radio in the background sped up. Oh and the air compressor kicking on every now and then. No music overlay needed.
Something Medieval scabbards had was fur lining the inside. This helped keep the blade in place without rattling around and kept the blade nicely oiled. I'm not saying "GRRR, you should've have done it this way!!1! *Incoherent mumbling*", just giving you ideas.
mr diresta you are a man of many talents , beautiful work id love a workshop like yours awesome channel all the best from the uk
Love your work this one was especially cool with the brass and walnut. Looks great
0:45 the aliens are trying to contact us
Man, what is it with all of the critical comments?? "I don't like the blade", "I don't like the camera angles", "That's illegal", blah, blah, blah...
Jimmy, you are an amazing artisan, and I appreciate all that you do. Love your style of making videos: I actually watched it with the sound turned right off, as I did not want to disturb my family, who are all resting right now.. Did not affect the enjoyability of the video at all.
Keep doing what you do. Nothing but love from over here. Cheers Brother!!
The metal and wood cutting parts are relaxing to watch for some reason
Well jimmy it seems you have really inspired the international community with this build. Well done sir
Did anyone else thing there phone was picking up some kind on alien transmission haha
Great job. It amazes me how much you love listening to the chipmunks while you work. Keep up the great work Jimmy.
You have mad skills bro, you have inspired me to take my fabrications to the next level.

Greets from Germany
Just found your channel, you can thank CZcams recommendations! I really like this format, no beating around the bush talking, just filmed the whole thing and sped up. Really dunno how you can stand listening to chipmunk music all day though!
Wolfin thank you 😊
I saw almost every video you made, this one is stunning, maybe the best one you've ever made.
I was caught from start to finish.
Amazing.
Thank You.
Gonzo Francesco thank you !!!
What a beautiful walking stick/ Damascus sword. Very well done.
It’s not a sword in a cane, it’s a knife in a baseball bat
I would like to see that actually
This guys camera work is second to none! Oh and his metal working skills are pretty good as well 😜
Holy crap. This is one of your best yet!
Nice keris, good job man.. professional video editing..amazing like always dude!
Very nice! Hell of a lot of hand work in that project.
another mesmerizing video from the king. Awesome as always.
Sounds like an alien transmission when you are making it.
Cool project. Like how it snaps together. Also unusual blade choice.
Appreciations for that hard work
Did anyone else hear that the aliens mashing UFO buttons?
i can make a legit dubstep from this audio
BassFreak Just do it! Dont let your dreams be dreams!
BassFreak I would be curious to hear the result of that
BassFreak

Beautyfull piece of craftsmanship.
And also a well concealed and effective weapon.
Good Job
Regards from Germany
did anyone else find the grinding noises satisfying or am I the only weirdo?
10:22 I laughed at how many clamps he used... but then I remembered when I didn't have enough clamps....
Watching this in 100-th time
Amazing work
Magnifique travail , très belle réalisation qui me donne des idées : grand merci pour ce partage . Congratulutions from France
And that's how dubstep was invented kids.
No DIRESTA logo on it? This must be end of the world :D
Mind Blowing Stuff. You rock Jimmy !!

My grandpa's false teeth is a bear trap his right leg has a flamethrower, his false hand has a nuke and his cane has a coffee dispenser inside
Great Work!
Thank You!
A masterpiece by a genius..
I've never liked the chipmunks music but you must be their biggest fan!
A brass cap at the bottom so the wood doesn't wear. Beautiful work man.
Wow ! Super Talented, thanks for the education. Old world craftsmanship skills.
Your work is simply amazing.
I know I just started watching, but give me a sec cuz I think im contacting aliens.....
ExtremeVortex LMAO!!!
*dental drill sounds intensify*
Wow! Marvelous 'Malay keris' we are so proud with you for making this ancient weapon.
Indonesia.n to weapon.
#do not take
Loved the soldering technique!! I swear that looks easier than using an iron haha
listening to the first 60 seconds of audio and it gave me nightmares and flash backs to 1998 when I had 56 Kps dial up...... terrifying
This made my morning 👌🏼
J' apprécie votre talent et votre savoir faire. Vous avez réalisé une œuvre d' art, bravo ! Personnellement, j' ai fabriqué deux cannes épées qui n' ont rien à voir avec votre réalisation !
Good, no, excelent job and I love your videos. Thank you.
Beautiful work.
Mal wieder ein ECHTER Jimi Diresta ! Hey, Du bist halt ein Künstler. Und Künstler kommt von KÖNNEN ! Ja, Du kannst es wirklich ! Wunderschöne Arbeit.
Kann er deutsch?
Fittneskick803 i don't think so
Truly skillful, nice sheath. Wonder if the young hp digital generation can create this masterpiece.
Интересный клинок в сочетании с такими ножнами и рукоятью. Я ковал такой клинок из дамаска только все загибы делал в процессе ковки.
craftsmanship at its best...
When I get old I'll want one of this.
Actually, I want it now too.
no plane, no cane! well done!
Fantastic result, i love it.
Just Wooow. =Amazing hand /home made work = Look like God bless your Handes .👏bravo 👍
Alien transmission in progress
Nice. You didn't skimp on the blade length...sweet!
A cane I'd love to own. For sure..
What a beautiful piece! I'd love to have it.
this audio is so satisfying
So this is how dubstep gets its samples: sped up angle grinder
Awesome work!
Magnifique monsieur Diresta bravo travail de professionnel 🙏👍
0:40 It sounds like a old commodore/Arcade cabinet video Game For a few Seconds
Weight is good. Weight is reliable. If the blade jams you can always hit him with it.
Wow Man! The coolest Badass around
I LOVE IT I AM GOING TO MAKE ONE OF MY OWN
sound is so funky
When you drill it sounds like your play game sound affects
Absolutely amazing. So skillful 🙏
You made it..😊😊..in Bali and Java we call it "Keris" but Keris was found all over the Nusantara archipelago
This is the right comment, not some dumbass, this is from Indonesia blablabla. Nusantara is much more wide than Indonesia
in my country ,indonesia we call it KERIS. Our ancestors in indonesia made kris from meteorite by using bare hand , squeezing iron in hot state . Use some magic and some time keris they made can fly to find their enemies .. calling for rain or stop it by using reciting mantra and many others . Yeah amazing .
the komerat and in indonesia we call dukun
does anyone else think that when he is grinding the blade in fast forward that it sounds like an alien transmission
Nice build Diresta
True craftsmanship!
This whole video sounds like aliens trying to contact us.
someone make a dubstep remix of the initial grinding process😂😂😂
Nice work 👍
Awesome job!
This isn't sped up, this is just how he lives.
Watch holding your fingers on the gard
Of the grinder.
Good work
play safe cheers from Canada
Just asking but at the start wouldn't it be quicker if u cut off excess then gone in and shaped it? Or did u have to do it that way because of the type of blade it was or was it just personal preference? Not trying to be rude or anything just curious.
Awesome now that's real authentic talent 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Lol, i accidentally clicked on this video while going over my suggestions. I thought i was watching Casey Neistat's video about "CZcams Loyalty" and for the first 2 minutes of this video all I was thinking was: Hmm, what the hell is he doing, I wonder how he is going to transition this into the topic...
OMG your life is so full of surprises and fun!
Sounds like you're playing SpaceInvaders XD
I think this is the most beautiful handcrafted piece I ever seen! Thanks for sharing with us.
i would have liked to see the blade forged into shape and lengthened a bit, seeing as you have a forge there, other than that everything is done fantastically , i like that you chose the flamberge/kriss blade design, you dont see many of those around :D
