You could just heat the pvc with a torch slowly to open it a tad bigger than you need, then squeeze it in your ends fittings so that it fits tight. Plumbers heat and bend pvc all the time. You're welcome👍😁
That's great! To store it, you could just hang it on the wall in your garage or basement. Great idea!!

That's a great design. This is on my list of video's to make this summer. Like you, my stand was huge and heavy. I saw you have the AJA tuning card on it too. - I have one on mine too.
My AJA card is getting beat up but it sure is nice not to have to google it every single time. Wish my brain would just remember.
Glue some magnets on the top and use magnets to hold the paper. Im a genius!😂
