The Zelos is just a snowpeak m60 the same way they did with the notos is the snowpeak PP750 these are not new guns, still cool to see here in the states though.
If it is NOT broke don’t fix it and I’m super glad Umarex didn’t try to muck it up royally to be honest. Very smart move imo.

😮Absolutely it is good to see which is what I said in my original comment I just take a bit of an issue with the statement " we created brand new gun" when in reality it should be we imported a gun and rebranded it and are selling it with fewer options like calibers and choice for are reservoir and capacity, at least with the notos in comparison to the pp 750 they did a near complete change in aesthetics. The snowpeak/ Artemis/ Fox, ect. M60/M60B is actually an exceptionally decent gun so limiting it's plethora of options like only the two calibers and only the tube version is what I think their biggest mistake was here. I actually have the m60b in 30 caliber and it's a great gun it's got a 24 inch polygonal Barrel 250 bar fill externally adjustable regulator mine has a removable 500cc carbon fiber bottle w/ valve on it removable so you don't have to degas to take the bottle off I wish it had a bigger plenum but that's something I can do myself. And this is common with Umarex anyway as a whole an example The Gauntlet being a amazing and extremely reworked design of the QB series rifles from Beeman and of course the origin being another version of the Nova Leviathan as is the avenger and Seneca Aspen and I believe the avenge x is also a version of a Nova gun. But again I I reiterate my main focus was just that I had a small issue with the one statement of creating a brand new gun mainly just because I believe in giving credit where credit's due and snow peak does create a really fine rifle for another example where is snow-peak doesn't get do credit is all the buzz on this new fx drs a lot of people are acting like this is entirely new technology with the air surrounding the barrel when snowpeak did it a while back with their m30 and then of course and then that gun was kind of recreated/ reimagined into a Remington vaught which I believe was only sold as a UK gun maybe a few other places I know it was mostly a sub 12 gun they might have had an FAC version I'm not sure and that's beside the point... then shortly after that altaros did their m24 which is an amazing gun as well and then Fx came in with the panthera and the plenum that surrounds the barrel followed by the dynamic and the next logical progression I believe at least was the DRS and they're definitely not the only ones working on that type of system let's not forget jts has their hat in the ring coming out soon enough as well with the stealth hawk and I'm sure that will be a more affordable platform by far for the grand majority of us that don't have FX kind of money. Anyway again definitely not trying to hate on any company or anything or anyone. Obviously I love air guns I'm a bit of a student of airguns of the past and the future as well seeing as how it's the career path I chose. Umarex the leader in Regurgitated snowpeak products
Could you imagine the crap we would get if the tried copying this? I’m glad they are only putting their names on the Snow Peak and Nova Vista products and not mucking them up. This makes it easier for we the shooters to get PCPs that we would normally have to order from over seas. If I can order a Snow Peak or Nova Vista gun from PYA or many other airgun distributors well then that’s great plus they may even have maintenance parts too! Another plus imo.
the sorry distributors we have dont carry the snow peak guns but they will sell the rebranded products why not just sell the snow peak items @@heathhalfhill6401

I wanted a Notos really bad, it was always backordered So i went with a Hatsan Jet 1 instead. Easy to modify and unregulated. I really love my Jet. A Blitz and an Invader on the way. Umarex kind of lost my support a few years back, finished themselves by not keeping up with demand.

The gauntlet gen one is amazing !! It leaks air amazingly well !!! My gen 1 in 22 cal has been back to umarex twice to be fixed ! And when i get it back it still leaks !! I paid $300.00 for the gun and i have $280.00 into it just in shipping to send it back and forth twice !! AND IT STILL LEAKS !! W T H !!!!
Umarex step up and fix my gen 1 or give me 90% off of a gen2
Did you try yourself to replace the O rings in the cylinder ? My jet came broken too but I did it myself . Or is it the gun itself ?
@@TahmL I don't know what it is I can't find the leak but it leaks down like 2000 psi in 5 days or so ! I've sent it back twice but they sent it back still leaking

Umarex is getting big in the re-branding business🤣
You can see that in many corners of the market. Umarex does do a nice job of finding little ways to upgrade the rebrand and make it just a little nicer than the original.
@@americanairgunner They are going the same direction as Benjamin (Gunnar anyone?). There is usually not enough added value to justify the price tag. Most of their "new" products have their origins in the Snowpeak/Artemis/SPA design department.

Huben has a 90ftlb 25cal semi auto pistol for $1250 absolutely nothing anyone else has in similar calibers even touch it they should all make something good and powerful like the huben or just give up. They could definetly get the size and power huben does bit they choose to give us guns that are usinf 10 year old technology that hasent gotten any more power in the last decade.
I think the are trying to please all Airgunners in a price range they can afford. Many can not afford a 2K+$ FX or even 1K$. I bought and LCS and yes you get what you pay for but to be fair I love my 250$ Notos and 400$ Avengers and Gauntlets. To each their own and that’s what the industry is trying to do I think which is smart as a business. A fast nickel is better than a slow dime kinda thing and the shooters are happy. The Notos is out of stock everywhere. PYA as of 1-10-24 was over 200 in back order cause it’s a great lil gun that’s fun, accurate, and affordable.

Yeah i have a .25 cal huben gk1 it is outstanding!!It’s all i reach for now when its time to shoot..I still enjoy my little notos though😉
Its not the same..lol 4 movements compared to 2....every repeating airgun pcp is advertised as bolt or sidelever ,or bolt action.
More like a big brother vs being the same.
The Gauntlets have always had one of the worst bolt actions out there. The side lever was way over due.
Just please dont make "propietary" stuff on it.... Pleaase! Ivebeen wanting an m60 for a while...

We didn’t find the magazine to be bad? Maybe small but operated just fine.
@@americanairgunner Just got the Notos. Shot it for the first time last night. Had jams on 8/14 shots with Crosman Destroyer, 0 jams with RWS Superdome. I'm a newbie, so can't rule out I'm doing something wrong, and maybe it was the ammo's fault...but I definitely wasn't impressed and am already looking at aftermarket magazines.
Dont buy umarex they wont sell you parts to fix your airgun

I've had 7 out of 11 GAMO'S bad right out of the box ! They say send them back to be fixed but the problem with that is I have to pay shipping both ways ! So let's add this up $70.00 to send it back then $70.00 to get it back from them that's $140.00 just in shipping for a gun I only paid $129.99 for ???

No they're different side lever and a bolt action in an air gun is totally two different things
Maybe he means they both work with a bolt?
