The mosin garbage tube over the k98?
I don’t think you’re allowed to buy people anymore
George Washington once said,
"Stay strapped or get clapped."
I live by this advice.
That's actually a quote said by Aaron Burr right before he shot Hamilton in the face.
Suuuurrreeeeee. Or, just maybe, he said it because he believed all Americans should be armed. Ill go with that idea.
Little known fact, he got that from Sun Tzu in “the art of war”

And a damn mini gun

I looked at the date and literally felt the same way lol
Is that no more the case, if not, why?
Daljot Singh Because morons keep jacking the prices up because they think surplus rifles are rare or something when there are literally millions of them in existence

Five years after initially watching this video, I'm proud to say that I've completed the 5 gun list. Here's My list:
1) Glock 19 Gen 4
2) Ruger 10/22 with walnut stock and lots of BX25 mags and plenty of KIDD upgrades.
3) Ruger AR556
4) Remington 870 Tactical Express 12 gauge
5) Springfield M1A Scout Squad .308
Those Ruger ar 556s ain't no joke
Ew. Remington
Unfortunately I only have an ar15 and my glock. But I mean they're both reliable so I can't complain too much

Wow real talk 🤕💯 two legged game

5 guns every American should own: 1. Barrett m82 .50 caliber (for small game hunting) 2. Colt Model 1883 Gattling Gun (authentic, no reproductions) 3. Desert Eagle .50 (Gold plated of course) 4. Any rifle chambered in .700 Nitro Express (for home defense) 5. Daisy Red Rider (for when SHTF)
This made my day 😂
Lets not forget dual AA12s for pest control and a FGM 148 for advanced home security ✌
I recommend Rail Gun for bird hunting
I use grenade launchers for home defense
Nope, you need 1.)Musket, to shoot a robber, 2.) Triangular Bayonet, to kill the next robber, 3.) Flintlock pistol, to shoot the other robber but since you missed it hits the neighbor’s dog, 4.) 17 pounder gun at the staircase to blow the remaining robbers, and lastly, 5.) Kentucky Rifle for hunting.
AK47 for pest control

On the contrary, it doesn't. If congress were to suddenly pass a law that violated your free speech, you would try to change the law. You wouldn't take up arms and start a revolution, because you know that you would get killed in a second by the FBI.

Those are beautiful firearms. I wish the gun laws here in India weren't so insanely rigid and archaic.

2020 Edit- here's my list
- 2011 pistol in 9mm
- Manurhin MR73 revolver in 357 mag
-A mid range AR15 in 223
-A Mossberg pump action 12 bore
-A Remington 700 barreled action in a nice aftermarket tactical stock chambered in 6mm BR
Honorable mentions-
SOCOM in 308 win, the Glock family and of course, the venerable Colt Python.
Cheers!!!
Can't even buy an air pistol without seriously denting my wallet in India smh
Rigid and Archaic? Gun owners have it pretty good in the United States when it comes to firearms. If you go to Canada, UK, Norway, Australia, Sweden, & other countries you dont have near as many rights when it comes to firearms.
@@Jacobthekid28 he was talking about India's gun laws
@@Valentinalglesias61 Oh. I was worried there for a second that he was talking about the country that gives its citizens the most rights in the world.
If a certain political party had its way we would have the same laws. Of course the only owners at that point would be the criminals.

People often confuse inexpensive with cheap. That mosin is a heck of a rifle !
Franz G most reliable and strong gun out there
I agree but the 7.62x54R is too much for let say home defense. It'll go through bad guy and several walls. 9mm, .22lr, 5.56, and 12 gauge are all great HD rounds.
Fran G i need a mosin
Isaac Chatfield maybe more of a 20 gauge for home defense
the stealth duck it's not a bad option. But in terms of home defense, I'd rather have more lead going down range than less. Especially considering 00 buck is most likely the best for that situation, which to my knowledge is only in 12 gauge.

This is a good video, short and straight to the point. And no excessive talking . I love it
It started as a: "You need this to protect yourself and do some hunting on the side."
And ended on: "You wanna arm a militia?"
We are the militia 🇺🇸
RIP Barry
Ahhh i want to move to America so badly. The UK gun legislation sucks nuts. I was recently burgled and had to cower upstairs defencelessly as i don't have any sort of weapons to defend myself with. The only problem is, the places in the US i want to move to have relatively strict gun laws compared tot he rest of the US- West Coast, New York, Chicago.
+BeanyOwns Why didn't you register for the weapon license...
Move to glories it's a beautiful state and has loose gun control.
+BeanyOwns So, get yourself a license and a shotgun? Easy to get, and much better for home defence anyway.
And as for you being defenseless without a firearm...that is on no-one but you. You don't need a gun to defend yourself.
+BeanyOwns It is quite easy to get hunting rifles and shotguns in California. As for handguns, it take several months and background check. For "assault rifle" (somehow include semi-auto AR-15 and other similar guns), it is now impossible to acquire one unless a resident who have one before the 90s decided to pass it on to you (well last time I checked) or you work for the Federal government as an agent. The hard part is being able to legally carry your weapon outside of your property (home/businesses). Used to be that you can keep a handgun in your car as long as the gun was not loaded and ammo is in different part of your car, but recently they outlawed that method and only allow it when the owner intends to transport the gun.
Meanwhile, the processes to get the licenses are heavily regulated and pretty restricted, thus most of those who have one are usually law enforcement officers.
+BeanyOwns Haha this comment is fucked up on so many levels :D
My dad always told me better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. He was not referring to guns, but I choose to think he did.

Sadly, those days are loooong gone lol
Lol I’m trying to figure that out now
Nice presentation, Barry. But I will keep to my old phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.
About 15 years ago my buddy and I were at a gun show and there were racks and racks of mosins for $50 each. We had just seen "Enemy at the Gates" and new it was an old, but quality, rifle. With little thought we each picked one up. I have since customized it with an archangel stock, scope, bipod and compensator. It's a great rifle and makes me wish I had bought 10 of them at $50. Can't find those old Mosins for that any more.
From NYC I got the mossberg 500 which covers lots of bases. So got a Moisin 1928 numbers matching Dragon . Love this gun therefore I feel safe plus other rifles winchester 30 30 and 270 weatherby for hunting .Great video thanks for sharing
Man, I remember watching this video around the time it was released. Crazy how time fly's.
Give me an AK-47, and a Mosin, and I'm happy

Winchester Wildcat 22LR
Glock 19X

R.I.P barry...
As much as I appreciate those weapons, I am always a fan of the more old school weapons. for hunting I use a reproduction .50 Cal hawken. I make my own rounds and black powder.
I love the weapons you have discussed, prefer a revolver as a sidearm though.
your choice of shotgun and .22 rifle is a MUST for every gun owner out there. Your choice of rifles is perfect as well.
In area of personal preference though, I have an old SKS that has been changed to a bolt action that I picked up for $95. Chambered in 7.63×39...and I love it. I would be interested in getting your feedback on the SKS. Will be checking your other videos for that.
Thank you for valuable information!
Most practical choices and in a good order running on youtube I reckon good stuff

I just started following this channel, I am a OIF veteran as well, just found you all and I just found out about Barry passing, hate hearing it, seems like a really good guy.
I wish I would live in the USA...
darkfall13
"...including AR15s so you're off base because criminals aren't running around with rifles."
And recently all your rifles as defence are useless, as the criminals have steel plates arranged at an ancle of 30°, so your bullets just slip off. You would need cannonry or hollow charges. And will you also sell that to children starting from the age of 10? And what will they do with it in school?
*****
"but it is only one in ""the West"" in witch backgroud checks are needed only for Assault rifles (witch nobudy smart would not sell to civilians in almost any situation anyway) and not for things like handguns and shotguns"
clearly you're an idiot, the US requires background checks on rifles, shotguns, & handguns.
darkfall13 And in the UK alone, there is more violent crimes committed with knives and bats, than in the US has with guns.
*****
"shoot metal balls.." Lol! Really? What year is this? 1862? You forget to mention that in the European Union, while gun violence may be lower, knife violence is extremely higher! In Mexico, where guns are almost impossible to get, they have a higher gun violence than we do! Our in the USA we have never had a foreign Army try to invade us on our soil since 1812 (where we drove the English away)... perhaps is because our citizens are ready to fight!
We miss seeing this guy. Imagine him on gun gripes. It'd be great
Informative and it was entertaining. 👍
Awesome video. Nice guns.
Those are great guns however, for home protection especially for a female who's not an experienced shooter i would recommend a 38 6 shot revolver. Very low maintenance, easy to shot and worry free far as jam ups like with semi autos. The second gun would be a 870 Remington 12 gage magnum. More practice with shooting and operating this weapon.
I bought a fairly pitted m44 mosin for 150 a couple months ago, and that bad boy shoots straighter than any gun can, even with the pitting. Mosin nagants are very, very good rifles that can take a tremendous amount of abuse and still keep running...and running....and running.
I try to watch every video Barry is in, and think I have, and I keep coming back.
I got mine
Smith and Wesson SD9VE (put in an after market trigger to make it better).
Maverick ‘88 20 gauge. Also have a Turkish 12 gauge pump which has been really good actually.
Remington 22 (can’t remember the exact model but it’s a 15 shot semi auto).
Smith and Wesson M&P 15 sport ii upgraded with magpul furniture, a scope, side mounted pop up iron sights and a bunch of 42 round mags.
I’ve got a bunch of others firearms too but these are my SHTF guns
God bless america
yes, everyone needs a Glock with 30 rounds. This...this is paramount.
I bought a glock 19 gen 5 last year as my first gun and fired it a few times. My grandfather recently passed and left me a 1911 45 and a 41 magnum. I have found that glocks require more expertise and more awareness of trigger pressure/aim adjustment to be accurate. I fired the 1911 for the first time and my grouping was astoundingly better than when I used the glock. It seems the trigger design(for me) is much more comfortable and requires less…adjustment for lack of a better term to be accurate. Of course everyone is different but I will only be buying 1911 pistols. It could also have to do with the fact that my 1911 is all steel and the glock is half composite thus making it lighter as well.
Great content fellas

Popped up in my feed. Miss you Barry.
I really agree with that last part about the need to suppress whatever weapon you are using for survival hunting, that's also a great reason to become proficient with a bow.
Sir the Glock 19 is a great modern pistol but I personally think everyone American should own a Colt 1911 it’s an American classic and shoots 45 acp. It hits hard🇺🇸🤠💪
I got both just in case.
These are the main reasons why I think most Americans own firearms and why many rush out to acquire them legally.
1.in case we have to overthrow our growing tyrannical government.
2.protection against those tryng to hurt me and those around me
3.sporting and hunting purposes

Gotta love the mosin
Nope. You can get good ones but they are rare. I love old battle rifles and my old Lee Enfeild no4 mk1 is probably my all time favourite but not mosins they are generally junk.
I've got several. I couldn't resist at $60 (+ $180/880 rds spam cans). But my favorite is a mosin variant, the Finnish M39. All shoot well. One (a Tula) came out of the crate with super nice bluing, a very shiny bore and better than average stock.
Gerald Clemens I want one so bad
Barry is a large reason why this channel took off. He was great!
Their choices are:
1. Glock 9mm pistol w/33 rd magazine.
2. Ruger 10-22 w/VX-25 magazine
3. Mossberg 12 ga. pump shotgun (18-1/2" home defense barrel, and 26" hunting barrel w/vent rib)
4. Bushmaster XM-15-E2S ("S" not "5") 5.56 cal. in M4 configuration.
5. Mosin Nagant. 7.62x54
But my suggestions (& preferences) are:
1. .45 cal. Desert Eagle pistol
2. .308 cal. mini pistol for conceal carry
3. Ruger .357 magnum revolver
4. Mossberg 12 ga. pump shotgun
5. Benjamin BPBD3S Bulldog .357 cal. Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) pellet Hunting Rifle
6. Mosin Nagant
So, that's impressively fail.
1, there's no such thing as a .45 Desert Eagle. The Desert Eagle has only ever been in .357 Mag, .41 Mag, .44 Mag, .440 Cor-Bonn and .50 AE.
2, firing a .308 out of a "mini pistol" means you get one round off. Then your wrist is broken, and you won't be shooting again.
Yeah I always take my 22lr for hunting moose. RIP Barry, you are missed.
I will gladly give up my guns once the government gives up theirs.
+lostinYourReality I don't want the gov to give up theirs, but I wouldn't want the people to give up theirs either. We still need border guards, soldiers, police and so on, but imho they should be taught to (actually) respect the rights of the people, they serve, and (actually) uphold these, first and foremost.
We are their employers after all. Noone else in life ever bosses their work boss around.
It's the manipulative system and the collusion between Corporate America and Politicians is what you should be worried about not guns.
Amazing how far we came in a decade.... Barry we still miss you!
It's so weird I just found this video.
