Brand new Aria diffuser… No mist just like you were describing. Watched your video and your description of the bottom filter air flow thing made me realize that you can’t put the diffuser on a soft surface like a crocheted square. Put it on hard surface and works perfectly! Thanks!! 😊
THANK YOU!!! I literally just had this happen to me. My Aria stopped putting out the smoke and I kept staring at it making sure I wasn't crazy. After a few days, I determined this was the issue and I just had it over a year and didn't want to reach out to Young Living. I did the googled and this video was the first one I watched. I cleaned it again and used my vacuum like you did and IT WORKED!!!! I just can't tell you how relieved I am because it is an expensive diffuser.
Guys this works! I got mine FOUR years ago! And of course, it was not cheap. I’ve replaced the plate a few times but this time it didn’t work. Thanks so much for this video! It’s running like new now

Thank you so much for sharing this information. I just got my aria yesterday. It started off misting strongly right away, but then the misting wasn’t as strong. I could not believe that it would break the first day I got it, or that a brand new diffuser would need replacement parts already. So glad that I found your video. After watching it, I realized that I had the same issue with it working but not misting properly. I found something stuck in the air intake and cleaned it out with a vacuum. It worked! My brand new Aria is shooting out mist strongly again.
Taking off on your idea.. I removed the filter and vacuumed it! And voila! It works now!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the diffuser I received one as a gift when I came back home from the hospital after a severe stroke so I have used for 3years and I have I think the same problem I can’t afford to buy another unit but one video recommend to replace the ceramic disc but before that we will try your tip based on your experience with the unit and also the cute remote control is about time is needing new battery I love to play the Asian music at night to sleep is just so soothing and relaxing my wife gets me the oils so far my favorites are lavender... frankincense... and the one young living calls power brain ...Thank you so much ma’am for your video and help we hope we can fix our unit and keep enjoying nights and nights of pleasant oils...thank you!!

Thank you so much!!!!! I just bought this diffuser off fb marketplace for $20. The seller said everything worked but it was not misting. She attempted to fix it by switching out the ultrasonic plate, but still no mist, so she gave up. I took it home and tried your vacuum trick and it’s working perfectly now. :)

Hi thank you for sharing, I had the same problem. The diffuser didn’t generate enough mist to come out of the dome, it keep hovering under the white plastic cap. After seeing your video I turn the diffuser upside down and open the filter u mentioned, I realised it has a fan behind the filter. Then I suddenly realised the reason why mine doesn’t work is because I placed a piece of cloth on the table and diffuser is on top of it. it may have prevented ventilation! Therefore I remove the cloth and place it directly on the table, the mist is able to come out! Mystery solved for me after many months finding the reason! Thanks again!

Thank you so much for sharing. I just got mine 3 days ago and today moved it into my bedroom. I had a table runner on my shelf and it just wasn’t misting like usual. Was so sad that nothing worked. I noticed your filter and am wondering if it is in upside down as mine popped out and I was googling which way to put it back in. The diffuser doc has it the other way with the screen showing so I wasn't sure but now I see there are arrows and you are correct!
Thank you for this information. I will try the methods you suggested. Mine will put out steam with a water-vinegar mix for cleaning but does not put out steam with water-essential oil (Young Living) mix.
So sad that my Aria may have met its demise but so happy to come across your video and to try your tips! Do they even make the Aria with the spa sounds anymore? I don’t think so so fingers and eyes crossed mine can be saved! Thanks so much!
I’m trying this tomorrow! I’ve replaced the ceramic disc, still no mist coming out. Fingers crossed!
I just repaired an Aria diffuser with a part that I got from Diffisuer Doc.com. He is on youtube and facebook and he has a website. His youtube videos show how to replace the parts that you can order from him. In my case the "driver" that holds the ultrasonic disc had failed. I discovered this because replacing the ultrasonic disc didn't help, the fan was still operating and the music played.
I just got a disc from him and mine works. If it stops again I'm going took try the vacuum trick first.
Gonna try this mine is only a few months old woukdnt thunk this qould do this for the price I have a smaller version of thjs style I got off Amazon and its over a year old and it still worka great and it was a fourth of the price
I’m curious, with this model does yours still have water in the bottom when it turns off and won’t mist anymore? Mine has always left water in the bottom. They replaced it once, but the one they sent to replace it does the same thing. I’m thinking “Did yall send me the broken one?” I bought the newer model and it does stop empty.
Can You turn this on with no remote ?
I'm so sad mine is 1 month old and it's no longer misting and I use distilled water for mine now I will try to call them tomorrow
Yes, that is definitely not right for a new one. Yours will still be under warranty so I would call and get it replaced. 😀
Thank you for your help, sadly I have done everything you have done Alli and my diffuser runs and puts out a mist and then after a minute no mist. Any other ideas on what I can do? Mine was just over a year old and stopped working. Super disappointed that something this pricey doesn't work better and longer. Thanks so much!
Hi I had the same problem everything is working just the most was hovering below the plastic cap and didn’t want to come out. Pls check if u are placing the diffuser on top of a table without anything in between like a thick tablecloth. As the material is thick it prevents the fan at the bottom of the diffuser to ventilate
mine has stopped playing the music. any ideas?
Oh no! Sounds like more of something wrong with the electrical components, so I am not sure, but I will def let you know if I hear anything about that. So sorry, I know you can plug in your phone in the back and play music that way, but not the same I know :(

My remote quit working and the company didn’t give me any guidance since it had been over a year since I’d bought it. So I bought another Aria diffuser. Again my remote isn’t working. And the company doesn’t have any on stock to get a replacement. Any ideas? It feels like a pairing issue but I can’t figure out how to make them communicate.
I just got my aria and it worked fine for 3 days. Now my remote doesn’t work so I called young living. The sent out another one and guess what it doesn’t work either. I actually have 3 remotes for my Aria and none of them work. So it’s my diffuser then that doesn’t work? However when I press the button on the bottom it turns on fine. Just ah e no ability to turn off melodys and such. They are sending me a replacement but will take some time. I’ve had the thing 3 weeks and only used it 3 times. I am frustrated! Any thoughts as to what happened? Also the replacement remote they sent me is not the same quality as the one I received initially and that has me worried about the replacement diffuser.
