The first match I saw was against Wolves on 25 Dec 1948 Villa lost away. In those days Villa played home and away on Xmas day and Boxing day. No subs. Players like Cummings, Dorset, Goffin and Dixon.

Martinez
Konsa, Diego Carlos, Torres, Moreno
Douglas Luiz, Iroegbunam
Bailey, Tielemans, Diaby
Watkins
Although I think Rogers will start in place of Iroegbunam with a slightly different shape. Personally I'd have Tim in there to try and get a grip on the midfield and let Douglas Luiz push forward.
