Hey DNALI just literally picked up the same car last weekend in Montreal. Found an elderly couple with an 05 3.5SE in the same color combo as yours with only 111km on the odometer!!! Only downside it’s an auto but it’s super clean. Will be tackling the intake soon and just got some tints done this weekend. Service engine soon light is on for for a transmission code “transmission range switch PRNDL. Hoping to tackle that soon and get the switched swapped out. Loving the 3.5 so far enjoy bro!
A K they are great cars for the money. And yeah first mods I would recommend would be an intake and exhaust. Hopefully you can get the transmission sorted out soon for cheap
A K , I have the 06 auto and it's a must have mod, he has a dyi on how to make you block off plate and that what I did,huge difference after 3k rpm. I been following DNALI channel and man his first auto 3.5 se he had was beathing down on all the 6 speed SERs at the track with this mod and the exhaust he had, check it out. DNALI, THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO 👍
Nice ride man! Always loved the altima and have always wanted a code red se-r but they're tough to find. Just picked up an 06 g35x for cheap and just put a magnaflow muffler on er. Sounds mean as hell! Best of luck with your ride man
Whats the principle of the block off plate? I mean, why is it a good mod? I have read about it before and am still unsure as to the "science" behind it lol. 05 3.5 S
Quick question bro, i bought an old altima and i just checked the engine and the cold air intake is broken. Am not able to find a stock air intake, what should i do?
I have an 09 2.5 Altima stock w about 170 hp. I want to get a muffler delete and cold air intake how much more hp do you think it will add? I’m hoping for somewhere around 10-15
To be honest without a tune you wont really gain much horse power with just an intake and exhaust. For the most gains I would add a header, intake, exhaust and then get it tuned and you should be able to get another 10-15 hp
Denali Could you help me with a problem maybe you may know I have this problem on my 03 Infiniti g35 sedan. were when I roll up all my windows and once I take out my key from the ignition all my windows roll down I tried looking for fuse/relay for the windows but I have no idea where it could be I don’t see nothing that says something about windows could you please help if you may know something about that would help me a lot if you respond thanks and love all you’re content brotha keep it up
Tony just tried it and didn’t work i took off my door panel and press the reset button but didn’t fix it. i think I’m just gonna have to take it to my mechanic only problem is that he’s gonna charge me $80 just to look at it but thanks anyways
@@DNALI oh okay... Because scotty kilmer said something about without tuning theres no hp gain and check engine light can come on idk how true that is tho and i want to install one in my 03 altime se
@@phantommarquez3713 some cars that is true about the check engine light but altimas can run fine with a 3 inch intake with no tune. And as far as power gains you might gain a few horse power but in my opinion do all of your bolt on mods first then get a tune to make the most power

My dad did pretty much the same mod on his 2014 max, sounded real weird with the cvt hanging around 6k rpm when you'd floor it

I wish VG engines were that easy to make a TRUE intake for...I just settled for a K&N drop-in for my Infiniti J30

if you add the altima se-r intake or a maxima intake it makes for a good straight tube and than you can add the cone filter

Nope. You can install an intake without a tune on these cars

no
But if you want to get max gains from it you should tune it. But usually it’s not necessary.
