- Emotional and powerful testimony filled the Carnahan Courthouse on Tuesday as the trial against Daniel Riley officially began. Riley is the driver accused of critically injuring Tennessee teen Janae Edmondson while she and her family were visiting St. Louis in February 2023 for a volleyball tournament at the Dome at America's Center.

This defense attorney is clutching at straws. The defendant ran a stop sign, was driving over the speed limit, whilst under the influence…it was his fault, end of story.
It’s a miracle that nobody was killed and more people didn’t get hurt.
Since this happened, the city put a stop sign there and removed the yield sign. I doubt it would have made a difference in this case.

This female officer has a bad attitude. There is no reason for her to behave like this. Even if annoyed with defense just answer the questions. Lose the attitude. It’s not a good look. At what point she did say witness stated car stopped to yield. If talking about defendant that was huge statement but defense do awful didn’t call attention to it had long pause and once again pulls out iPad to show video.

The more of these court videos I watch, it’s obvious this defendant just DOES NOT CARE about anything! He shows no concern, no emotion, and no remorse for his actions. Absolutely shameful! And his family sits there with snooty faces. Disgusting!
