I just came across your videos. So this is a year late.
I’m about to do my first Camino, April/May 2020.
My life lesson: all I’ve done is work. I want an adventure, I want to meet people, spend time alone with my thoughts. I will be quitting my job in April. In the mean time I will be training, losing some weight, and learning about others experiences.
When I’m done, I will post again.

Hi Jen, I really enjoyed the vlogs about your camino! To show lessons that the camino taught you and to share the most important lessons of all these pilgrims is a difference to most other videos about the camino. I like that very much. :) I'm looking forward to my own camino this year. It will be my first time and I am very excited. The most important lesson life has taught me so far is that you have to take action to create the life you want. And don't let social media have to much influence to your life!

@@holyshitcoaching23 In my opinion it is very important to reflect everything you see and hear. Sadly there is so much fake out there which people believe in. Especially in terms of beauty ideals and the illusion of "perfect lives" of many influencers which can cause many harm to someones life.
That leads me to another lesson: Your are beautiful the way you are! Get rid of all the people who do not appreciate this and surround yourself with nontoxic people!
Doing a camino seems like a good chance to take a time off of all this bad stuff and focus on things that really matter?!
Starting from SJPDP at 18th of June. Haven't done much planning yet. I'll try to take things as thy come :)

@@BaoderBobmeister beautiful words! Thanks for sharing this. I did not plan anything either, and then I did not have a place to sleep in the first night (Roncesvalles). If possible, maybe only reserve that one because it's a beautiful church and you don't want to miss the experience.
I'm doing the Portuguese coastal route this year. Can't wait! Buen camino
@@holyshitcoaching23 That doesn't sound like fun and I am a little bit afraid of not finding a place to sleep. Did you walk to the next town for your first night or how did you solve that problem?
I guess that the coastal way will be very beautiful. If you decide to do a video about that I will definitely watch it! :)
