  • Hi (again)!
My name is Jenneke, and this is my third Camino Frances. I want to show you all the (literal) highs and lows, the beautiful views, the cute little towns and the amazing people I’ve met along the way. If you’re considering walking the Camino yourself (and I recommend that you do!), this film can show you so much of what you need to know. Such as: where to sleep, what to eat, but also all the spiritual lessons I learned while walking.
Have you already seen my other camino vlogs?
Camino Frances 2018: • 2018 Pilgrimage to San...
Camino Portugues 2019: • 2019 Pilgrimage to San...
Camino Frances 2023 (group): • 2023 Pilgrimage to San...
    Buen Camino!
    Love, Jen.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This was so much like my Camino! I remember starting in St Jean and worrying that I wouldn't finish and then as I neared Santiago, I felt my Camino was ending before I was ready for it to end. The places, the blisters, the conversations, the laughter, the tears and the people, so many beautiful people. My walk was a walk of gratitude and the last 2 days I had the strongest feeling that the Camino was showing me IT'S gratitude. The most beautiful experience in my life. It's with me every day.
Thank you for sharing your journey and bringing back so many wonderful memories. God bless you.

Thank you for posting this great video. I was behind you about 3, maybe 4 weeks. I left St. Jean on 17 October, 2021 on my 4th Camino Frances. I have watched countless numbers of videos on the Camino starting before my first one in 2015 and my most recent one last year, and are still watching more. Of all of the ones I have watched, I would rate this as one of the best. Perfect blend of information and fun, not to mention the why's of walking the Camino. God willing and I do not bang myself up too badly skiing this season I will leave Lisbon on the 17th of April next year heading for Santiago.

I will leave coming year also in april to do frances again. Have a great one!

You have a God given gift of connecting with people. Thank you for your encouragement! I retired 2 years ago and one of my things I want to do before I die is to walk El Camino. ...dear lovely Jen, I was so happy to find this 3rd camino of yours today - I watched your first 2, when they came out, and you feel like a camino sister by now... I walked mine in 2005 and 2010 (both were this route, but starting with the side-camino Aragon, which then joins the Frances one behind Pamplona), and my third one is waiting... what did I enjoy the most of your clip... well everything, but these were my highlights: - the dancing episode; your love for the animals and that you are not shy to show your emotional ups and downs and talking about them... this makes your films so personal and intimate... thanks so much, and a big hug to you! :)

Dear Jörn, this message just made my day. I feel connected to the camino again because of it, but also to you. Thank you so much! It's funny because when my mother watched it she said: 'Is it really necessary to show all those tears all the time?' And I said: "Yes. Because that is who I am and that is an honest reflexion of the camino for me, but I don't need you to understand.' :) :) Much love!

@@holyshitcoaching23 thats lovely to hear - you deserve the encouragement! Interesting to hear your mothers comment: ...too many tears... I don't recall that - I found it quite balanced with all the other emotions - very healthy actually! I think for some people its not so easy to see your tears (especially if its your mother!), or express their own ones, and then they become an uncomfortable highlight for them. To really understand the emotional journey of the camino, you have to walk and see for yourself - there are so many ups and downs, of course also physically! :) Great to hear, that you will continue walking it - a nice 'addiction', me thinks. I won't make it this year for sure... maybe next year? Can't plan that far ahead at the moment... to round this up, I'd like to counter-balance your moms comment: Thank you for all your smiles and joy, that you shared with me/us! Have a nice day, Jenneke xx :)

OMG! What an Epic Camino. I came with you on this walk from start to finish and plan to do the French way next year. I hope I get to experience the wonders that the Camino brings. Jenneke, I will carry a day pack and have my luggage moved to the next accomodation. The Cabin option looked wonderful. There is a wonderful sense of community on the walk. I am not religious, but spiritual. I do believe there is something greater beyond this world. The feet ritual was lovely Jenneke.
John 13:1-17 recounts Jesus' performance of this act. In verses 13:14-17, He instructs His disciples: If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

Mijn vriendin & ik zijn voornemens om de Camino Francès te gaan lopen in mei 2025, maar we zien enorm op tegen de zekerheid van het hebben van een slaapplaats?
