      GDS is a good choice if you want to be near to campus, have a reasonably priced accommodation and also a gym. That was my favourite accommodation! JM is good if you want a bigger and better room and don't mind paying more money and being further from guy's campus

    Hej Kenji. I am moving into this room in September! Really excited.
    The only question is whether the bed is a double or a single?
    On your video here you show that bed size is 137x189cm, but when i go on the Julian Markham website currently the bed size has moved down to 120x190cm. Do you know if anything has changed? I was a bit annoyed that I couldn't book a viewing to see my room in real life because of COVID, and I know have 3 sets of bedding all as a double as a few months back I read that Julian Markham has double beds??

    Are London unis very social bc I've got offers for medicine (from KCL,UCL and Birmingham so far) and I was wondering what is the social life at London unis compared to other places like Birmingham and Nottingham where they have campus unis? And how is the nightlife as well

    • @DoctorKenji
      @DoctorKenji  Před 4 lety +5

      In my personal opinion, socialising is much easier (and somewhat better) outside of London. Although there is a lot of social life in London here, it's a bit more difficult with non-campus unis and where most people live a bus/train ride away from you whereas outside of London students tend to live together in particular areas. The nightlife is great, but also quite a bit more expensive. Both options are great though, just down to personal preference!

The location is better (it seems to be closer to Waterloo campus and there's a library nearby) and the room is much larger. But I just got Great Dover accommodation offer and the allocation said I can't change it to Samford Street one. 😞
