    Ok. Vote Time. I'm 180 pounds Naked so I figure about 190 to 195 geared up. Should I get the 66 lb or 70 lb. spring. It's a hard decision to make without having riden the L. Marty, I believe you got the 70 lb. and are right in that weight range. I like spongy but don't want to bottom out if going off curbs or whatever? I think 66lb. might be too soft but I don't want miss out on the sponge if I got the 70 lb. spring.

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  Před 10 dny

      If you want spongy, certainly go for the 66lb spring. I wouldn't worry about bottoming out due to the progressive spring. It's essentially impossible for me to bottom out the Lynx and I have the 62-lb spring on that.

      @dwcola Před 10 dny

      @@ElectricUnicycles What would you say is the advantage / disadvantage / difference between the 66 and 70. My thoughts now are that the 70 gives you a little more responsiveness and possibly a little better control?

    Interesting he mentioned 100 100 made one wheel shake. I did not experience that and it has worked amazingly well for me 😮

    My v12 refuses to turn off, the app won't connect too the wheel and says "initializing data exception error code 01ff".
    I've opened a ticket with Inmotion support, it's really scary.
    ever experienced this?

    I'm still curious how the L behaved with the new knobby vs the factory tire. Rodger, did you get it out on any trails?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  Před měsícem +3

      I know Roger shot a bunch of trail video with the tire. Keep an eye on his channel. To sum it up, he says it behaves just like the Shinko 244 and is a great tire, but he prefers the street for its corning capabilities. I'm pretty sure I'm going to order mine with the street tire.

    Is extreme flexing only a Leaperkim problem?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  Před měsícem +2

      Define "extreme". All wheels have some flex and some more than others. Bothers some people and most people aren't even aware of it.

    i just got the lynx and feel like i get random wheel wobbles, especially around 30+mph. I didnt get this with my v11 much at all. Ive been trying all sorts of things, pedal lowering kit, offset riding, lower psi. I have some powerkobz coming. The last resort would be switching to a shinko 244 but i heard its a pain to get that on and might be too big for the wheel. Sign, im regretting not just getting the sherman L

    • @epicurioh
      @epicurioh Před měsícem

      I'm much more stable on my Sherman S than the OG Sherman. Something about the heavier weight and higher weight distribution makes the Sherman S react slower to any destabilizing bumps or turning inputs. What helped the most with both wheels was bringing tire pressure down from 35psi to 28psi. Higher psi makes your tire more responsive and thus more likely to give into wobbles.
      Basically, try 28psi or slightly lower, and know that lighter wheels rely more on your control for stability than heavier wheels.

    • @millionairejh
      @millionairejh Před měsícem

      @@epicurioh i tried 26 psi yesterday, im a really light rider and fairly short. 5'5" at 140 ibs. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I also heard some people say the lowering kit made them get even more wobbles. Im just hoping its just all in my head and ill just get over it with experience
