Honestly, I didn't expect those photos and videos to look that excellent for a POCO phone! They've done a great job this time around, seriously. This makes the legendary POCO F1 proud enough.

If anyone is wondering, the F6 Pro (Redmi K70) was originally made to be the pro version of X6 Pro (Redmi K70E) instead of F6 (Redmi turbo 3). Hence the similarities between the F6 Pro and X6 Pro.
That's very unlikely, the more likely scenario would've been the k70 as poco f6 and the k70 pro as poco f6 pro, it wouldn't make sense to just make the top of the line k70 into a poco x pro, there would've been no room left to improve

Watching from my poco F6
I have the poco F3 the 6gb/128gb variant for 2 years now and still a beast phone... I'm just using type C, 1TB USB to copy all my files and delete all of it from my phone to prevent full storage. If ever I decide to upgrade I think I'll go for Poco F6 Pro.
How's that a 4.2?
Excellent screen, excellent storage and memory, super fast charging, good battery life and great great speaker, decent all rounder camera and not to mention last year's flagship chipset, snapdragon 8 gen 2. Oh let's not forget everything that comes in the box with it. All that for... Lemme see.
Where I live it sells for only 430fr, or in other words 460 euros!

Watching on my 13t, i love its leica camera and also i do gaming on mobile, should I consider upgrading to poco f6 pro, as the processor is flagship and charging speed is good, if the camera is usable here as compared to 13t?
I really don't think it would be an upgrade from the 13t lol, the 13t has better cameras and the performance jump is not massive from the 8200 ultra to snapdragon 8gen 2 unless your really into gaming.

As long it has a good main camera and fast chip, this is a killer phone.
The best performance to price ratio in any 2024 smartphone. You can always rely on Poco for this!

suggestion for the end of every review: when you say like "the alternative is samsung A55" also add "which has a better battery, but a worse processor" (just an example, you pick 1 better and 1 worse thing that you deem the most important difference)

No the 13t has way better cameras, larger more advanced main camera, larger 50mp ultra wide with 4k video, and a real 50mp telephoto lens instead of crappy macro

if you prefer for the camera, choose 13t if you prefer for performance go for f6pro but 13t has also a descent performance with a dimensity 8200 ultra chipset

Xiaomi has had Gorilla Glass 5 on all their phones for years. Well, except Xiaomi 14 line, for which they made their own thing.

Should I get this? or Poco F6 Pro. I'm more to camera quality. But to increase my budget for Pro is actually not my option. I always buy phone range like Poco F6. But is it much difference between them in term of camera quality? P/s I usually edit my picture before posting.
This is F6 Pro, other brands offer much more quality with Camera but not Xiaomi and Poco.

Poco F6 Pro is a good flagship killer device.
Good built quality, but that ugly camera module design is similar to Poco X6 Pro. Atleast, the main cam got an upgrade, but same usable 8 MP ultrawide cam. The mediocre macro cam is still there and decent selfie cam. Battery life is about average.
I'll pick the Poco F6 over the F6 Pro.

I agree that camera module and lettering looks cheap like the lower tier Poco models of recent years; though it works just alright with the white version only.

Guys I'm thinking about getting a xiaomi 12t pro in a few months, but I'm worried because in about one year it already won't have software updates anymore, is that a big problem?
No, not really. It's a Xiaomi with a Qualcomm chip, which means you really shouldn't care about software updates. What I mean is that custom ROMs for it are abundant, superior in customizability and are updated for years. 12t is kinda old, but being a part of the flagship line, it'll still last you a long while. I highly recommend CrDroid, Project Matrixx or Derpfest ROMs. You can, of course, go with good ol' LineageOS, but to me it's too basic.

I'm a Poco F1 user and I just got this new upgrade. Phone camera is not my thing so I went ahead for this upgrade.

@@nsns-if6jn my only issue is the battery, it's not that high but Poco's solution is the 120w charging capability. I'm charging it daily but only for ~30mins per day from 10% to 100%

I think none, Xiaomi and Poco have mediocre network hardware compared to other brands. It’s not good if you rely heavily with Mobile Data. Samsung flagships and some mid have good network connectivity ever since

It is an incredible phone. I am thinking of getting this or the F6. I hope in the future Xiaomi will give more years of Android updates.
I opted for a used Xiaomi 13 for cheaper price. Better overall except charging and display
I'm not a camera person, so this looks like a phone for me to upgrade to from my redmi note 11...
One plus 12R seems better and with less bloatware and hidden first and 3rd party spyware that you have to opt out. The only clear downside for the 12R is the UFS 3.1 storage vs the 4.0 of the F6 pro but i wonder if it makes that much of a difference in real world perf.
And the curved screen, wich not all ppl are fans of that 12r has it
please review the z9 turbo youll be surprised how the phone performs with much lesser price even the regular f6 costs more

Samsung S23 is the best compact phone and generally at its price. The price has dropped significantly and the S23 in my country is the price of the Poco F6 Pro 16GB, 1TB. Samsung, despite the smaller amount of RAM, still performs better in games thanks to its excellent system optimization. S23 it's a full-fledged flagship with a great camera, speakers and build quality.
Slow charging and you dont get the charger, case, screen protector inside the box
@@cutecats746 This is no problem. S23 is a real flagship and has amazing AI support. The system works incredibly stable and fast. Poco has a heavy system and has a ton of unnecessary applications, ads.
they're both using the same SoC but samsung has overclocked the 8 gen 2 on their s23, the difference in gaming isn't alot because of how much the s23 heats ups, i think the iqoo 12 would be a better option if you don't really care about brand image and software, it has a snap 8 gen 3, LTPO Amoled 144hz screen, 120watt fast charging and the camera isn't necessarily great

POCO F6A Is worth so much more. Less expensive but provides better surface quality. Yes it's performance isn't as good but it is good enough compared to the price and it's newer. The only disadvantage is the camera HOWEVER you have to realise POCO goes for performance not camera that's why it is cheaper

A flagship chipset in a middle range phone
The poco and redmi lines of phones appeal the most to people who are already existing users of these phones. They are unlikely to defect and explore other phones because poco and Redmi lines are very good in putting up specs vs affordability sheets and building up bucket phones. Which is what their target consumer groups want in life.
Nothing negative here. Just a bit boring and predictable thats all because you can predict what they want to use and buy most of the times and the poco and redmi phone design are very generic most of the times thats all.

Read it has 3840hz pwm dimming. It's good for the eyes. When will gsmarena mention pwm dimming (or dc dimming)? Amoled or oled causing problems to our eyes is a real issue. That's why many manufacturers are improving pwm every year. If it doesn't hurt your eyes now, one day it will...
