    We perform diagnostics and repair on a Husqvarna snow blower brought in because it wouldn't start but we couldn't keep it running once we got it to run. It would not run off choke and kept surging.
    This is on an LCT PW2HK18850 engine. We clean and rebuild the carburetor to get it back up and running correctly and solve the issue
    Ariens Compact 24 Is The Same Engine...
    Husqvarna model number 96193010105 which has a 30" snowblowing width and LCT 291cc engine
    If the carburetor is in really bad shape replace it instead of cleaning/rebuilding
    Carburetor part number 23101 is available at amzn.to/3TcgGGV

    Reassuring to see that I'm not the only one who has to look at the covers twice, or more, to see why things aren't going on easy. Thanks for this video.

    Found this guide, also found inches of sludge and rust inside my 2 year old tank. Vinegar epsomed the tank and all back together now for new gas.

    Thanks for this video - it's the only one I found for my Husky model; most vids are for the older models. Even though it was -10c out, I was able to get the covers off and all the small pores cleaned out to solve my surging idle - didn;t even need to take the carb off.

    Good video wouldn't tell ppl to open the jet up with a small drill bit if they never have before, they use the wrong size and ream it a little bigger they could ruin it allowing to much fuel in the system.

      They run so lean to begin with it would take so real change to create this situation and would immediately be noticeable once started. Thanks for the note and for watching!

    great video, did you engage the auger on test run? mine is stalling when i engage ..

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  Před 11 měsíci

      Yes, if stalling when engaged either there is something bogging down the engine in the auger/pulley/belt or the fuel system needs some work

    Any five-year-old and take a carburetor part and put it back together again

      You got some smart 5 year olds! Taking apart and putting back together is easy. Knowing where to pay attention to and what to clean are more in depth than disassembly and reassembly. Thanks for watching!
