Now they put the tech on it and a pillion (which it should have had for the original price) and added $1500 to the price?? $15k for this bike in USA plus markups is too much for any sane person. Thank you for the video.
I've owned three Harleys in the past and loved them.
Sadly, of late, Harley seem to have lost the plot.
Far too overpriced for ok bikes, compared to many other brands.
They seem to have decided to ignore or deliberately exclude younger, newer and riders who don't want to spend crazy money to join the brand. IMO short-sighted, as they are pricing these newcomers out when there should be a way into Harleys so that they can then upgrade later as I did from an old Sportster to a Fatboy. This way in would encourage long term brand loyalty.
Mind you the current Fatboy is over £20k so not an option for most.
They need a more affordable, smaller bike such as, dare I say it, the Super Meteor. They could price it around £10k and folks would be happy to pay a premium for the badge compared to RE.
    Thanks again

You gave us an incredibly performing motorcycle that is too stylistic for everyone, then you gave us a more classically styled sportster with sub par performance and an outrageous price tag. What is it that this company does not understand? Keep the style we like, give us modern performance, stop over charging people for your brand. Don't listen to the know it all internet geniuses regarding horsepower comparisons. The original Sportster is about everyday riding, usable, and friendly - Torque. Horsepower is a CALCULATION derived from TORQUE. There's a REASON the Sportster remained basically unchanged for decades, and they sold every single one. Ask yourself, where's the V-Rod, or the Street 500 and 750?
Gone, but the old school Sportster lasted for decades plus. Oh and the people complaining about only 1 disc brake in the front, again because they really don't have a clue and just want to impress their friends on the internet. I have 3 Harleys that I race regularly, none of them have double disc brakes up front, and Dyna's weigh a 100 pounds more !!!

The only thing that bothers me is the unpainted fenders. For the kind of money they are asking I like the billiard blue but paint the dam fenders to match that “tank”. There’s no way the “tank” cost 375 to paint it.

I've seen one in person, and it actually looks much better live than it does in pictures or videos. That said, it looks far too packaged for a HD.

350 quid for a "Premium" (single colour) paintjob on one part of the bodywork? No thanks. Those colour options looked cheap AF. The only bit that looked good was the instrument binnacle. Each to their own and all that.

Don’t think you addressed the elephant in the room; that awful exhaust. If I was to buy a Harley it would be an older sportster/ 48. So many new bikes have a real plastic cheap look. If I had £15k this would be the last bike on my list

    • @ceelojaycee718

Most people swap out the exaust anyway. But your right, it's a hideous stock exhaust wth 😂

@@ceelojaycee718 agree. Which is why my money would go to an older roadster with mods done or where I would do it myself

Too much money for this sporty. Not to mention market adjustments…. Greedy HD dealerships, I won’t buy another bike from HD as long they keep their dealerships keep this price gouging, I encourage others to do the same.

Why they got rid of the Vrod, I'll never know.
That motor was a jewel and could of been made into other models.
Hey Harley, how the Electric bike selling.

They have done it AGAIN there is a brake disc missing from the front wheel what a real shame they keep doing this with thse heavy bikes appart from that a great looking bike my first mod would be that 2nd brake disc on the front wheel that should have been there before it left the HARLEY factory

300£ for a "premium" paintjob? Silly indeed! A laidback cruiser bike...with more buttons on the handlebar than in my car? No, I really don't get this bike.
All those covers instead of making a nice looking bike. Always the right hand side towards the camera. No mr Bob, I don't like it! And for that price? No no!
    Thank you mr Bob!

Never got the cruiser thing when young. Now old and the body is weaker. The legs don't work as well I get it. In fact I bought a cruiser. But mine is a Honda. Some Harley's look pretty cool. Wouldn't say that one does. They all have one thing in common. Very expensive. Only ever ridden one Harley. A Fat Boy way back in 96. Hired it and rode up and down east coast of Australia on it. Strange coming off a sports bike. Got used to the agricultural nature and poor handling. Would I buy that thing at that price. No.
