Eyeballing this for a treat for myself for christmas. I've already grabbed the E-11 from them. Very pricey, but for an original cast piece? Worth it. Especially given that it comes with the breathing gear, chest plate AND Bust.
This is easily my favourite helmet design ever, and I love that it was made because they ran out of budget, so they smooshed the X-Wing Pilot Helmet with a Stormtrooper Helmet to make this. Can't wait to have this!

Great video! Did you have to put the stickers on or are they already put on when you recieve it, and when they're on are they stuck on tight?

Great review. Five hundred nicker though, just for the helmet, is a tad expensive, especially for something that uses cheap stickers for the logos, as opposed to decals, properly varnished in. Admittedly it looks very nice, but let's be honest, the TIE Pilot helmet is the coolest of all helmets in the Star Wars universe.
Kind of a standard deal since its including the tubes and chest piece as well as the stand. I gotta say in not impressed with the whole sticker idea either but SDS are apparently the closest you'll ever get to the real thing

brian mcpherson he tried to, but after several court cases of the period of i think 9 years (i could be wrong), andrew won the court case for the rights to produce and sell his products in the UK and i think anywhere else outside of the US. As andrew did not win the court case in the US to manufacture or distribute the helmets to the United States. Also his products cannot be associated as or branded as lucasfilm products, so they are their own brand as SDS prop replicas instead

Helmet looks good, that chest box looks a bit funky. Those 2 holes and 3 lights on top shouldn't be there. If your going for cannon.
I think you mean its a combo between AT-AT Driver. Not X-Wing pilot.
Chris Manning Nope. Top of the helmet is an X-wing pilot helmet. Front is a Stormtrooper face.
Just to add to an older reply Ace is right. The At-At driver helmets were repurposed Tie pilot helmets from a new hope

Shame it's totally incorrect to ANH. The chest box is totally incorrect. Plus extra greblies on the lid ears. Looks nice on a display though.

I'm not going to dislike the video for it, BUT I wish she'd looked into SDS before endorsing them.
