      No he’s not... the Class B RV (sprinter, transit, and promaster based) movement is huge here but crazy expensive. The B+ models are usually slightly bigger vans but even more expensive due to the custom van like body.
      A lot of us want something just a bit bigger and cheaper, but our class Cs are huge... it’s difficult to find something like this... but I’d buy this. Probably even try living out of it for a bit.

    What caught my eye is the foldable sink in the bathroom. Perhaps not the best execution yet but they are definitely onto something here.
    The shower is massive and although round edges give a more 'stylish' look, square places just utilize every square cm they have got. Spacious shower for sure!
    If that bed would also be electrical raised, they have a candidate winner here, especially for that price.

    I can't understand why on earth they bother installing 2 flares in the kitchen, when you obviously cant use them both at the same time. Oh lord 🙈. Every single factory does that. They are to close to eachother, and you dont want to go get out your children's cooking set, to get a dinner on the table.

    • @pasho12now
      @pasho12now Před 3 lety

      What you state here is not at all obvious for someone with plenty of cooking experience in a motorhome... The flares are standard apart and in my brother's old Hymer I typically use three if necessary at the same time with no problem whatsoever... the cooking in this context is of course not generally employing the utensils in the greater range for obvious reasons (space) but when I use the big pan for one meal I just overlay it to cover two of the flares at the same time. We have also traveled with friends and their motorhomes and it is the same in all of the other ones. No one has ever complained about this issue and cooking is greatly enjoyed by all... :D

    Looks perfect for a single or couple who love going off on cycling adventures, being able to transport expensive /electric bikes inside without having to dismantle them is a revolution. Also having a great shower/toilet, to wash off all the mud and sweat makes this layout complete. I’d been thinking of doing a van build, because it was the only way to achieve that lifestyle in a smaller space, but seems like motorhome designers are catching up fast, and doing it really well.

    • @VanlifewithAlan
      @VanlifewithAlan  Před 4 lety +4

      That is not the biggest problem - the biggest problem is if you can register the vehicle and unfortunately I don't have an answer. You would need to speak to the vehicle licencing agency which is local to you. But on the other side, you need to pay import tax plus purchase tax on the full amount which will include the shipping which would be around USD2,000. On the positive side, the price would be reduced by the amount of purchase tax, called Value Added Tax in the EU, which is around 15 - 20 percent depending on where the vehicle is bought. My advice would be to speak to a customs clearance agent who deals with vehicles.

They're wasted otherwise when you're stationary) and the pop-down bed which means you have a permanent bed without using up space. I want to extend my seat sliders into the back, though, and use the front space for the bed.

      i dont understand either. i keep looking at these things and theyre trying so hard to put in all this seating and im like "i'd rather have more space for the shower/tub, toilet, and perhaps a standing wardrobe over those extra seats any day." i prefer my toilet to be in a separate closet from the shower and i'd much rather make sure i have that then all this extra seating. a van is for 1 person or a couple (maybe bff's) , what are you going to have a bunch of people in your van for dinner? lol.

      @@VanlifewithAlan That was an unhelpful reply, you don't seem to be big on social graces. You DO need a wide angle lens, it's very difficult to get an impression of the motorhome from your stream of closeups.

    i love how EU and Asia class C prefer 6meters parking length limit.
    in NA motorhomes are like from 70 80s and usually big ass 7-8meters to start with. we do have some 6meters but they are 99% dirty broken ex-rental units
