Man, I just watched this with a juice-box. Great video. Then I had to clear off where my geese sleep --- the goose-box. Then I had to tighten it up because it was a loose-box. I was originally gonna make it out of oak, but it turned out better as a Spruce-box. Now my Dad Bruce wants one, so I'll have to build a Bruce-box.... Sigh. Yeah, just goofin' around. I think my favorite SLUICE BOX setup is the VDR ones, although that dream mat sluicebox looks pretty darn good, too! Great video once again, brother, and thanks for takin' all that time to edit and share with us all!!!!

Yes sir we're doing great this year found some new spotslife is going good I'm hoping that when we finally get hit with snow that we can find a place to park cause I don't mind walking through the snow to get down to the river but sometimes a snow plow leaves a burn on each side of the road that's over 6' tall and you can't park no where

Howdy, was a wondering ifn you ever use that there sluice box up around Leadore area. Once in a while I get chance to do use the sluice box around the Horse Prarie area.. bits of colour here and there plus some good history from the old stage routes in the area..peace and keep enjoying the cold water fun.
Of course I'm too late to win a sluice box, but yours looks a lot like one I've ordered, and It's due to be modified into a sluice and Miller's table combo. It is being designed for ultra fines on the Snake, and that is where it will be used for the most part. I enjoy your videos and can't wait for warmer weather to get out on the banks of the Snake just across the street 150 yards away. About 6 inches of snow now. River froze solid. My crew is my Son, Son-in-Law. Daughter, Daughter-in-Law and all the assorted Grandkids. Throw a Brisket on the Camp Chef Pellet grill in the morning, sluice all day and 3 minutes back to the house for an evening picnic.
A brisket and mining sounds like a great combo. Especially with family and friends. I've done s little digging on the snake near king hill. What area do u like on the snake the high desert is a beautiful place . Live spending time on the snake

Dee, in the complete edition, it states they took 25,000 troy ounces of gold in the Snake just in town, back a 130 years ago with real primitive equipment. Rocker boxes with burlap, and some bucket line dredges I'll have much better equipment in a couple of weeks. The components are stacking up here at the house now. I'm targeting ultra fines, as those are common here, but my sluice will be even more efficient on the coarse stuff.

The area was closed to mineral entry in the 80s. And the sled is the best way I've found to transfer and classifie material
