I like the Cirrus Vision Jet at the end. Didn't expect to see this in MSFS.
I love that they put the hot air balloon at the very end like it's what everybody was waiting for, they knew exactly what they were doing 😂

I assume they announced this now in preparation for the expo in 2 weeks. Very interesting news indeed. I am cautiously optimistic. I hope they fix the ATC and AI traffic issues.

@@Gabor0527 You do realize Vatsim isn't available to anyone on Xbox, right? So while I feel it's not the most important thing they should concerned themselves with, it's needs to be among the top of the list of things that need fixing and improving.

I really hope this would be an expansion for MFS2020 because de facto it sure will, but having two almost identical games that develop in parallel... I can't imagine how it couldn't be weird if it's a standalone game.
Yes it feels like as if EA Sports would still support and update old FIFA or Madden Games parallel to the new games.

@@brianbosch3628 that's a fair point. It's possible this new game allows them to add features which weren't possible on the old one, though. They'll probably continue to support the old one either way.
But for all we know this game could be focused completely on missions and could forego the open world aspect of MSFS 2020, which would separate the two games. I don't know they could manage seasons and such high-detail maps, AND the full open world.
@@doug12244 Yeah, that's plausible. But if it focuses on missions only, then they'd be able to create far more detailed maps for these missions and wouldn't be overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of the earth.

Keep in mind this could all be pre-rendered and recorded. Might not look this good even on the latest hardware, but it would be awesome if it does!
Nope. Real life isn’t anywhere near as saturated or contrasty. If they turned that down then yes it would look almost life like.

Wow okay… totally didn’t see this “surprise” coming! It looks amazing but please please make sure the third party community can port their content over with ease. There’s a whole ecosystem around 2020 now and it needs to be brought forward along with the sim!

I hope to be able to fly with Avia B534, Avia S92, Aero L29 Delfín, Aero S106, Aero L39 Albatros, Aero L159 Alca, or Aero L39NG.
This has improved since the 1995 version I started on!

It's hard nowadays, cause world balancing on edge of WW III. And at such times hard to believe in any close to real fly models for both NATO, Russia and China aircrafts.

Aweseome work. I love the new missions. Please continue improving the look of the clouds. Unfortunately they still look quite artificial. If clouds are closer to the viewer they need more structure and the edges of the clouds require some fringes

I don't think it's a sustainable business model to work for free. If msfs loses money it will be discontinued by Microsoft as it has in the past. I prefer pay 50 dollars every 4 years.

I'm hoping they put out an expansion like Acceleration, where we can have native naval operations like in FSX, it would also be great if aircraft could be equipped with training bombs (for F/A-18E).

New FAQ that came out today says virtually all 2020 addons in the Marketplace will be supported in 2024. I assume this means that addons that are NOT in the marketplace will also mostly be fine. Some may need some minor tweaking by their developers.
Unfortunately i don't have that powerful pc to run that but still...i am excited for this!!

This clearly shows the direction in which MSFS will develop, i.e. playability = more fun, and unfortunately, I am afraid that the development issues regarding flight simulation (the essence of the simulator) will not change much. I wish I was wrong. I'm still using XP11 and was hoping for further development of MSFS, but more in terms of purely simulation aspects ;-)
