Yeah, we got the home soil advantage tho must be said every International Ice Hockey world championship the Czechs sprung to unusual life, almost everyone is booming with energy.... that goes for majority of Hockey loving Europe.

Congrats Czechia!! Well deserved!! Norway were effective, my countrymen fought hard physically, patient and determined in defence, but they struggled to finish a lot of attacks. 11 shots is just not good enough! At times too clumsy, stressed and overcomplicating at times. Norway had bad icing calls, bad penalties at times, puck loss in dangerous positions way too often, and I wish for better rhythm/timing in our decision making. It was similar to the Switzerland game.
I have to say I loved hearing "Landslaget i Ishockey" agian after a very long time. That tune is such a vibe. It always puts a smile on my face when I hear that song after a goal. Congrats to Stian Solberg for a sweet goal and a sensational assist to Erik Salsten. All Norwegian goals today were beautifully executed, unfortunatly the rest of the team lacked consistency overall. Get some rest now boys, and show that Team Norway can improve vs Finland on Monday.
The lines I actually think are ok, but I think the rotation/order should be changed. I like the combinations of players, but I miss better flow between the lines. If we are changing anything, I hope we keep the best and discard the worst, for example use Trettenes more. Berg Paulsen, Vikingstad and T. Olsen are not playing as well as last year. Maybe make some changes there. Put Trettenes in the mix and rotate those 4 and figure out the best combo over the next game.

The most fun game I've seen in a long time. Norway played exceptionally well at times, very impressive although you lost in the end.
Congratulations Czech from 🇱🇻🏒. Norway was played good as well. But for me personally most nerve wrecking game was Poland vs Latvia. Tension till last minute, got few grey hair 😁

Norway had a 3-1 lead very close for 4-1 , but again we give away momentum with a bad turn over on 2-3 and the most frustrating thing is that we let in too easy goals who knows what could have happened had we been able to hold a two goal lead before the first intermission or scored to make it 4-2 on that 5on 3 oppertunity. Except for Solberg and johanessen norways defense is awful. The positives we can take away from this game is 1 Solberg is a junior player who play with 0 respect against seasoned nhl players very impressive plays like a veteran. 2 we can create good offense at times 3 just like last year our pk is outstanding. Having said all this had Norway won the game it would have been a robbery we were outshot 49-11 gg to Czechia.

Mate, glorious result for your team, but be real. Your guys scored 3 goals out of first 4 shots, and fired a total of 11 shots on goal vs. the opposition’s 49. Your team got outshot near 5:1, and if anything, the score is extremely flattering for you.
The coulda woulda shoulda scenarios at 3-1 for your team are pointless. You were never going to win a game in which you’re getting minced 49-11 on shots. That’s pure fantasy land.
Your goalie stood on his head, and kudos to him; he saved some point blank goal chances. You’ve also got two or three high ceiling youngsters, but your team achieved a lucky scoreline above its potential. You will not have another game where you score 3 goals off of 11 shots anytime soon.
It’s great to be a fan, but your write-up is pure daydreaming.

Spectacular game! Both teams show great fighting spirit and Czechs have deservely won. But if Norway continues to play their best they will secure their place in hochey elite for sure.

Rulik chose to leave a lot of natural goal scorers at home in favour of a team of hard workers who play with heart. Very few natural goal scorers here, no young people. That is how you rack up nearly 50 shots with little to show for it, until the third period at least. Her also left the more aggressive defenders at home who can get things started offensively. I think this team goes nowhere against Canada, the US or Sweden..
But your point about Mrazek is not quite right. Yes, he conceded 3 from the first 4 shots, but those goals were primarily on the Czech defence and not the goalie.

They practically didn´t leave they def zone for the whole two periods, Czechs had almost 50 shots on goal, it was only a matter of time when Czech team will turn the tide. Mrázek was very weak. Dostál is clear nr1. But if you´re a troll then np ;)

А чемпионат мира - это как музыкальное шоу Евровидение.
Последние лет пять не смотрел этот турнир, а тут ещё и нашу сборную не пустили. Зашел посмотреть, как переживают люди в комментариях за победу во второсортном турнире, чтобы объявить себя Псевдочемпионом мира😅
