Sam & Colby fans need to understand that this is not "boys being boys". They're grown men, in another persons property. They would be horrified if I went in to their house, and said the same things about their mother, and kicked their belongings. Having an audience the size of theirs, they need to understand the wise words of Uncle Ben to Peter Parker; "With great power, comes great responsibility". I think Kristin is so brave to come out and talk about this, especially considering the comment Seth made about her and how toxic Sam and Colby fans have been to people recently. She deserved respect back then and deserves respect now.

Ditching Seth will mean nothing when Colby literally agreed with Seth. Colby was also the one destroying the property. I’ve just lost all respect for all three of them. I can’t picture myself watching their content ever again. This isn’t some great life lesson to be learned. It’s a school age lesson to learn to not destroy other peoples property and to be respectful of others and their space. The fact that all I see is fans saying “well they were very young” as if 24 year olds are somehow far less developed than 27 year olds. They knew then to be decent human beings and chose not to.

@monamoon8849 I've never seen a Sam and Colby video. Simply bc I'm not interested in watching little boys play ghost hunter. But I'm old enough to recognize when people make too much money at too young an age and that causing a God complex. The thinking that they can do whatever they want and nothing bad will happen to them. I don't believe it's inherent badness..yet. If they don't learn soon that they have to follow the same rules as the rest of us it will be too late for them to be any kind of decent people. Seth, on the other hand, something is wrong in that kids head.
@@tiffanye9776to portray a good representation for you, you show up at whatever selected haunted location, go inside, something always happens within the first 5 minutes, dramatic “and it’s just started” BOOOOOM *music* lots of cuts, lots of yelling, lots of chaos so the viewer forgets this is supposed to be a serious ghost hunting adventure except not much is happening so we gotta make it eNteRtaIninG. Now I am a ghost believer, believe it or not 😅 just not this. I’ve done some hospice work so of course I believe in something, I just find it hard to believe they would entertain “investigators” acting that way and I appreciate Kristin bringing up that the Yt world and the real investigators are two separate groups, I mean if I was ghost and they came up in there yelling like that I’d ghost them too! 😂 but they do it intentionally, to draw viewers in when there’s so little actual paranormal phenomena happening, the videos wouldn’t do very well.
It was really good to hear Kristen Lee's comments about the S&C issue, and to call out Seth's sexual harassment.

I am horrified that Sam and Colby have still not publicly apologized for their behavior. They put on their best public face doing charity while blanking out this behavior. It's pure switch and bait. It says a lot about their now inflated egos and lust for money. It also shows their lack of character and lack of respect for women. Sending Kristin all the best!
Honestly they have been quiet every time they should have spoken up so I’m not surprised they arent apologetic or apologising.
They already apologized to her privately, why should they make it public???
They're so money-hungry. It's 20$ per month for their XPLR app and all the merch they push out. But we hardly get any context. I'm honestly somewhat embarrassed of how much money I spent to support them. Before all this came out earlier this year I came to the realization that I shouldn't be giving out my money so easily. 😂

@@darklight1611 I'm aware it's my fault but like I said I supported Sam and Colby and had the perception of missing out. But Netflix costs $20 a month and look at all the entertainment you get on that for the same price. Another example is that their friend KallmeKris only charges $5 a month on her patron and you get so much more content and lives that she actually talks and has meaningful engagement with her supporters. It's just straight-up greedy.

I know someone else that is a smaller channel that did the exact same thing that I finally stood up to his bad behavior is when Paranormal Search was telling another guy that he wants to collab with Jenny Love TV, and asked her to do a reenactment of a girl being tied up, and sexually assault as a trigger for the spirits have that one place. I stood up and said right then when it happened that it would be considered sexual harassment on his part.

Interestingly, when this was exposed, Seth’s ex girlfriend posted on Twitter “I’ve always believed in karma, bad people will always get what they deserve” and then in a reply further down she stated “it really does tbh, within time it’s like true colors will show aaand yikesss”. Interesting.

I cannot say enough how truly disgusting it is what Sam, Colby, and Seth did and said and I'm not just speaking tropes. I've been at the hands of sexual harassment and mild assault. The gravity of what they did is not being felt by the general population of people who are aware of it and Kristen is being made to feel a fool and being gaslit by a group of near 30 year old men and their minor fans.
Kristen deserves peace and justice while I do disagree that Sam was 100% innocent. Seth really uses his bloodline to build his entire image and personality and it's fucking old and gross. Just because famous good looking people do despicable things doesn't mean the people they hurt don't have a right of justice and speaking the truth.
Sam was there. He had every opportunity to tell Seth and Colby to shut up and behave professionally as well as respectfully. His silence is equally wrong. I have had fights with people when I hear them say degrading things about other human beings like Sam did.

As someone who has been through sexual abuse it’s not always easy to speak up there and then, especially when you don’t know what the backlash will be. Many people will experience it from people they know and will feel too scared to report things or speak up right away. It’s still courageous to speak up at all.

In my opinion it’s disgusting that people use entertainment and theatre, claiming it as “paranormal”.
For their “producer” to call Kristin and make her feel like she’d done something she needed to defend herself against is even more disgusting!
It’s commendable of you and Kristin to make this video, calling these guys out for what they REALLY are (and the video receipts proving it).
I’m also thankful that Kristin pointed out the difference between actual paranormal research and the “for entertainment only” content channels like Sam and Colby mass produce.
There needs to be a better distinction between channels producing content for those of us who’re legitimately interested in paranormal content, the history and the research behind it all compared to these other channels that couldn’t care less and only put on a show for the money and attention from teenyboppers.

Huh. Good to know. I CAN presume what SEG is trying to do from what he actually says and implies, though. And in most videos, it's uneven and poorly argued. Here, we have a good interview, but he's not being truthful in intent. And I would never want someone to lose their livelihood for SAYING something sexual. We have degrees of crimes in the USA. And this one would be a misdemeanor. Now, if there was an actual assault, if they had not paid or apologized to her, if Seth showed this creepy behavior towards every owner and/or woman, then we have a PATTERN of abuse. @@angelainsenga9360 I understand what you're saying, but I completely disagree. I can make an example by empathizing with Kristin and putting myself in her place. I imagine myself going to a mechanic. That mechanic has unsupervised access to my car, and while diagnosing my issue, he intentionally breaks off my rear-view mirror and cuts my windshield washer line. The same shop camera that filmed that also picked up on him saying that he was going to have sex with me against my will if I complain. Another employee shows me this footage. I would want that guy fired, and would share that video with every shop in the area to make sure he didn't victimize anyone else.
See, this IS the USA, and you don't have to break a serious law to lose your job, and you also don't have to repeatedly do something wrong either. All you have to do is something bad enough that people don't want you doing that job anymore. Sexual harassment and damage to property are commonly punished by loss of livelihood.
I will correct myself and say that sexual harassment should be commonly punished by loss of livelihood, though it often unfairly isn't. After all, this is the USA, as you say.

I absolutely love Kristin’s message about speaking up and not just stand there smiling. Recently I went through a really crazy situation. A man rear-ended into my front left quarter panel. He was reversing way too fast from a strip club lot next door to where I was. I blared the horn for seconds but I had nowhere to go and he was reversing really fast. As soon as he hits me, he puts it into drive. I’m panicking thinking he’s leaving but he goes and parks at the strip club. I was at the next door tobacco store. I park it right where he hit me, I get out and check the damage quickly and then walk over to him and politely inform him he just hit my car. At first he denies it, but I show him the white paint on his bumper from my car so he finally says he’ll do the right thing and pay for damage. I want his insurance before I leave, where this happened in a parking lot no LE would come so I’m basically screwed in that regard.
After speaking to his WIFE, he produces a screenshot of insurance that expired in 2020, but informs me he thinks he wants to pay for the damage out of pocket. I tell him I’ll take my car in for an estimate at the body shop I always go to on Monday (it’s Friday afternoon). I leave worried about how the situation is going to pan out. Not 5 minutes after I leave, he calls me and asks if I can do him a favor. He wants me to lie to his wife and say that the accident didn’t happen at the strip club!! I tell him if I have to, I’ll lie to his wife, but if we get insurance involved I am not willing to lie. Next thing I know he’s asking if I have a man, when he finds out I don’t, he flat out asked if he could F* me!!! Same conversation n just minutes after he is asking me to lie to his wife! I’ll be honest, I had to laugh. And I laughed pretty hard. Because I was so uncomfortable and also just maybe still in shock and my blood sugar was really low as I’m diabetic and I had went out to grab lunch. So yes, this married man was at the strip club at 2PM on a Friday, but I digress. I’m a former corporate engineer so I have dealt with hundreds of pervs from both the manufacturing and contractor side so I will say I have had probably a lot of exposure to men that say inappropriate things to me when I am trying to get them to do their job!
So back to the strip club man. We leave the conversation with me being very nervous and now feeling like I am going to have to flirt with this man to get my car fixed. He begins texting me after the phone call. Asking really personal sexual questions, informing me to only text at these hours and days of the week due to his wife of course. I begin thinking well if he doesn’t pay, I am collecting blackmail material that I can use to tell his wife what he’s up to! Lol 😂 no lie, I have never blackmailed anyone, but the whole situation is so bizarre, I guess I start to have bizarre thoughts. He tells me he wants to meet me at the body shop when they do the estimate! See I had told him that we needed to get my car taken care of before I would decide anything and that i take things slow. Please understand I have no intentions of sleeping with this married man, but I horribly feared if I flat out rejected him he wouldn’t take care of paying for the damage to my car! It made me extremely nervous that I was going to see him so soon afterwards and I felt he only wanted to be at the body shop to see me again.
Monday morning comes and he is right there pulling in the moment I am there parking. The receptionist and estimator both note how odd it is for the person who hit the other car to be present. The initial estimate came in at $1,400 and I swear to god I had to sit and wait for this man to get his wife on the phone and have her sell stocks and move money and he paid the $1400 that day. I’m so relieved. But I also know from past experience, there are usually supplements charges because they don’t do a tear down on an estimate. After he paid, he wants me to come to his jacked up truck for some reason. He shows me another phone, one with a phone number sticker on the back informing me to take that number too. I never text or call him again. Fast forward to the shop getting the parts in, my car is in the shop longer than expected. And I start worrying because I am being charged daily for the loaner I am in (so much for still giving me free loaners 😂).
So I have to start considering that I will have to get ahold of him again because I refuse to pay for anything given the situation. I stopped by the shop after an appointment because the car should be ready, they tell me it’s another $400, but they’ve already tried calling him. So I stay in the loaner another night. I’m thinking to myself if he hasn’t called them back by noon tomorrow, I’ll have to get into contact with him again and I am dreading it. Thankfully, the estimator calls me before noon to say that they finally talked but he was playing hardball. He’s on the boat so he’s saying he wouldn’t be back into town until the 29th (this was last Tuesday). So he says he’s sending his WIFE down to pay the rest of it! I told them to make sure she was well and gone before they call me because I don’t want to meet her!
So sorry for such a long story. But what Kristin said really resonated with me, I am saddened that I didn’t feel like I could just flat out reject this man and still feel like he would pay for my car. I shouldn’t have to flirt to get someone to pay for the damage that they caused!

If she had worked anywhere else and had a group of customers, her coworkers or anyone make those comments we would be LIVID. I hate to remove it from its context, but people really chopped it up to "boys will be boys". They were men, and they still are. And they've decided that their reputation is more important than the people they hurt. And they do not get a pass because you expect guys to make gross jokes.

As a Sam and Colby fan, when the first video came out about this I was very skeptical about everything. But now that this is out I’m grateful that you made this. And as a SnC fan I will be holding them accountable for everything and I really do hope they make a video addressing this because I and I know many others are disappointed about what they did. As for Seth I never really liked him so I can’t say much for him. But still, thank you for making this
I think Sam and Colby are not bad people but they know their fans would defend them in any situation and "they don't need" to publicly apologize to Kristin. Those enablers have allowed them to pray on public's belief and profit from lies. But i'm fully aware that those kids will grow up and they will look back at this whole mess when they turn 25 and baby, they're gonna laugh.

im myself a sam and colby fan so watching all this situation was really weird but i cant understand others comments being like “dont you ever talk about them like this”, like please stop being childish. the fact is that they just fucked up and all we can do is hope they behave well and respectful in other locations. watching the first video (the one that got pretty famous) about this whole drama i was thinking that nothing much happened and if they solved the problem its okay but after finishing this interview i think sam and colby just fucked up, im not gonna stop watching them because of this but im just aware about the messed up situation. One of the things that has irked me about this situation, which you see repeated in countless other scenarios involving influencers, celebrities, or others of influence and means - this idea that because they financially compensated her for the damage, their culpability is gone and they can wash their hands of the whole thing and nobody will be affected. Money does not solve all things. Especially in cases like this, where you have such a large imbalance in audiences alone, I admire Kristen for coming forward and for speaking her piece.

This brought a lot to the surface. It is great that Kristen was courageous and willing to put everything out in clear view. People who believe in leaders who are dishonest and misleading, regardless if they’re acting, are cult-like. This is very good representation of how the leader/follower dynamic affects others.

Really glad she got the chance to say this. I know I’m stating the obvious here…but I think a lot of people would be surprised at how a lot of these paranormal CZcamsrs act when they think the cameras aren’t rolling.
the first time I saw Seth in one of the videos with some other investigators, I shuddered.. since then I have never watched any video where Seth was. He looks strange, behaves strangely, has strange communication with others. I wouldn't be around him even standing in a hall full of people. Until Seg posted this video, I now know that I was not creepy for no reason. I'm sorry that Sam and Colby didn't react properly, but they still accepted him on their team. Kristen is a powerful woman and I'm glad she called them out.❤
When I first found Seth's videos, he was doing a lot of abandoned places with his girlfriend, and watching the dynamic between the two of them was really special to see. They treated each other (at least on their footage) like best friends, soulmates, equals. I think the Seth we see now is largely due to their relationship ending... I saw the steep decline shortly after.
My kids are 36&38 & if I saw them act like that in somebody's home I'd even today give them a clip.
It is also important to remember, these were grown men treating someone else + someone elses property like that.

The question is, how do people think these shows are real? Of course it's entertainment, if anyone would watch real ghost hunting videos at these same locations they'd notice right away the contrast. Basically the real ghost hunters barely ever find any evidence and the ghost hunters that find evidence all the time are just entertainment. They're not living in a different world from you. So if you don't experience any paranormal activity chances are neither will anyone else. I like the topic of the paranormal but if and when it happens it's extremely subtle and rarely occurs

You are so right. And this was done on the job for these disrespectful louts. The Culties seem to think Sam has no culpability in what happened. Hey, it is his name on the paychecks and on their channel. By not responding and just hoping it goes away they are condoning the actions of their employees. By not shutting down hateful comments from their employees they are condoning the actions. Colby acted like a spoiled, entitled brat and his name is on the company ledgers. Sam was smiling and laughing after the equipment was vandalized. I don't expect that these spoiled children in adult clothing will ever respond because they have no integrity. And the culties supporting them show the same disrespect. Kristen was amazing and handled things amazingly and is a strong, impressive person for how she handled it then and now. I have no respect for those that continue to condone the behavior of Sam, Colby, and Seth. I have the utmost respect for SEG and Kristen.
