  • ◆Story
"Since I'm willing to pay three times the salary, would it be okay for me to have you?" My boss, who was an engineer like me, was a troublesome person who took credit for successes and blamed subordinates for mistakes.
One day, during a meeting where I was present with my boss, I met a beautiful female CEO whom he favored. However, due to certain circumstances, she ended up liking me, and out of jealousy, my boss set me up and forced me to resign.
It was then that the CEO approached me, expressing her desire to have me with an exceptional offer...

Serves Takeuchi right! He got exposed about his doings and his CEO already knows about it. He even shows his true side in front of CEO, Keiichi and Noa. He can't make excuses anymore. He deserves to get fired through disciplinary actions and got sued by Noa for damages. I'm glad Noa helps Keiichi when he got fired. She saw Keiichi's performance and hardwork which is why she's interested in him. Now Keiichi and Noa become couple and even making a couple channel.

@@icedragonkid1480 He didn't. He got something worse than that, disciplinary action. If you are fired on a spot, then it might be likely that the severance package might still be valid, which would make it less severe. Since disciplinary action was invoked, and that he probably was forced to pack his things and escorted by security, he won't get a severance package and have a REALLY bad mark on references. It might even disqualify you from joining any companies in that industry, thus making it crazier. To me, being fired on the spot is an unfair mercy.

      1. Fate worse than deəth by not making others clean up your mess. 2. Wouldn't he have to fire the HR who forced Sato to quit too? Cause she never gave the developer a chance...

@@brunothebat4122 there is something to be said about the mess one makes at work too. If he was fired, then they can gain leniency from the customers, but would have to force a lowly employee to clean up his mess. However, by using disciplinary action as a reason, they can make the one who made the mess clean it up before he leaves.

The fate of Takeuchi: After getting sued by Noa, the CEO gave Takeuchi some disciplinary action. So the CEO decided to demote Takeuchi, and to transfer him to a branch in the countryside. And because Noa sued Takeuchi for damages, half of Takeuchi's salary goes into paying for damages. At the branch side at the countryside, Takeuchi's coworkers, keeps passing their work to him. Takeuchi wanted to quit after a year of working at the branch side, but he still have to pay for damages, after being sued by Noa. Because of this, Takeuchi is a shell of his former self. Takeuchi is now like a soulless machine, that just keeps on working until he dies.

That meant this boss had regrets for firing him. Normally if the boss who does the firing should never make it their business to see what their ex-employee is doing because the person who is fired no longer have a contract with that company and does not have to answer to that company. If that person is fired, that person has a power to find a job else where.

Yeah, the Japanese version is "Inkya" and "Youkya" which have different naunces. For some reason, "Inkya" used to refer to...background characters who are perpetually dull and gloomy or some BS like that, while "Youkya" are people who take up the spotlight (and bright and cheerful and popular). It's not a 100% accurate translation.

Chief Takeuchi should not have make it his business to snoop around on any employee he fired. Normally, if the employee is fired, they can do whatever they want outside the company. Anything good or bad that happens, the person who is responsible for doing the firing loses power to interfere. So Chief Takeuchi's way of thinking is more like oh crap, why did I fire him? Now he is gaining a benefit. Normally a boss who does the firing should not make it their business. A boss who does the firing should move on no matter what.

"Lower than pond scum" is an understatement.
      "moron" is an understatement.
After forcing K-Itchy his most skilled underling, to resign, who did he plan on stealing achievements from, AND putting the blame for his mistakes on? He/IT was/is too stupid to realize that getting rid of K-Itchy WOULD lead to exposing how worthless, dishonest, and incompetent he/it truly is.
Hopefully his wife found out abou his cheating ways, divorced him getting a large damages settlement plus Alimony and child support, to go along with the debt he had to pay for his hurtful comments after the class action law suit by Ms. Noa (the soon to be Mrs. K-Itchy Sato) and after being fired for disciplinary reasons (guaranteeing he will not be hired by any good company. He might get a low level job at a toxic company with no hope of promotion)
He seems stupid enough to get a high interest black market loan to pay off all the court ordered debt (which does not go away if/when he declares personal bankruptcy), missing a few interest payments, earning a lifetime "job" on a fishing boat.
It deserves to lose everything but its life and significant debt.

    #1
And in all of this, the CEO of the company where the protagonist previously worked didn't apologize to Keiichi for how he was fired.
at least a formal apology was needed.
(he only sorry for the offensive comments)
Furthermore, the fact that the CEO says he wants to take disciplinary actions against Takeuchi (and maybe not even fire him) only at the end of everything is also suspicious (or rather it is too forced for plot reasons).
Furthermore, HR should have consequences as well.
He listened one-sidedly and accepted what Takeuchi told him.
He could have done as the CEO did, i.e. investigate and/or hear both bells.
And finally, the CEO should make better decisions about how to choose managers in his company.
    #2
In the end Noa-San seems to act a little too one-sided.
Not only does she drag Keiichi into a relationship with her, but she also effectively forces him to appear in the videos.
And in all of this she has no confirmation that he is interested in her that way.
She may have suspicions that he may have feelings for her but nothing more.
The fact that Keiichi thinks she has a boyfriend tells us how much the two have talked about their private life.
