Saving person's life is more valuable than a person's career. There are things that money can't buy. Especially health. If the person died because of that, you can never revive a dead person. Yashiro only cares about himself and money and he discards Keiichi like a pawn. And he treats Nagisa who looks a normal person outside like a penniless person. And when he learned that Nagisa is the CEO, his career is over as he take responsibility on his actions because she stopped having business with his company that he worked for. And Nagisa gave Keiichi a better job in her company. And he deserves it. Not only that, he and Nagisa became a married couple in the end.

Nagisa-san is the real MVP of the story. Granted, Keiichi was also a pretty solid person by doing what he did to help her out as well, but Nagisa paid his act of kindness and self-sacrifice with sticking out her own reputation for him in return, as well as getting the chance to savagely roast, not just Yashiro, Keiichi's old boss, but the company that Yashiro worked for as well. Add to the fact that she not only truly loves her business, but her employees as well, and that she is not some heartless tyrant that plays people like pieces on the chessboard, and that she also helped Keiichi make a move in his life that would pay far more handsomely than what his old company could give him, and that proves why she is ultimately the main heroic figure in this story. Nagisa also never once abused her position as a CEO on anyone, even Keiichi, and that proves a lot about her character in spades. There are girls who are bosses, there are girl bosses, and then there is a good boss that simply is female, and Nagisa is that third category. I also think that Nagisa and Keiichi were always meant for one another as well.

So Yashiro kept on making it hard for Keiichi, that Keiichi himself resigned the company. The next meeting by the board members, Yashiro was called again. Yashiro got fired on the spot, for enraging the CEO of Aoharu corporation, and for some of his blunder. Yashiro is currently trying to find work. But no company hired Yashiro, since word of how he didn't help the CEO of Aoharu corporation, got spread. Yashiro ended up working as a mall janitor, just to earn a living

Never lose the value of kindness, politeness and proper manners because these are all common courtesy's and it helps make our world a better place, not only for us to live in, but for others as well. For the struggling, for the ones under pressure, for the ones undergoing difficulties, for the those that are facing depression. It helps keeps assholes in check. I live in provinces one with woke people, where kindness and politeness is decreasing, where people are far too influenced with social media bullshit. And the other province, even after so many years, still full of kind, generous, polite, respectful people. Even strangers would offer you meals or an afternoon snack when they see you passing by, or offer you water as they see you walk in sweat in the afternoon heat. Never forget proper manners. TLTR: - Nagisa is great - the story is a win due to her efforts. The MC is okay I guess, more of a supporting character than a real MC.
the MC's biggest issue is the MC's self-deprecating attitude. Damn annoying. the MC acts like a stunned idiot far too much.
His knee jerk reactions consist of:
* helping people in distress - good (+1),
* rejecting compliments rudely - insulting (-1),
* rejecting help with stuttering - rude (-1),
* panicking overly defensively when someone flirts/teases with him (several ... way too many times) - cringe (-1),
* trivializes/downplays his own skills - unrealistic (-1),
* saying sorry from stuff that has nothing to do with him - idiot (-1),
* lies when asked things that he seems to think embarrassing (at least twice) - disrespectful (-1)
other skills:
* cooking - useful (+1)
* health and nutritional knowledge - useful (+1)
* competent as work related tasks (implied, we don't get to see much of this) - good (+1)
Nagisa Hira - the CEO -sigh ... it would have been more interesting if the story had been from her perspective.
the MCs in this genre stories are frequently so cluttered with red flags and baggage that even a moderately decent love interest is way more interesting. I suspect it's because the target market is males that are socially unsuccessful, but allows them to see how they could have done better than the MC ... except when the MC is absurdly OP (such as an ex-gang leader or secretly a filthy rich or famous person) - which in itself jars with their overly self-deprecation, or very socially rude due to their self-obsessed 'trauma' from some silly event in their past, or obtuse thickness/blindness/denial of facts around them, frequently repeatedly. There are cases where both the MC and the lead female are good solid characters but it's disappointingly rare.
This channel keeps Keichi Sato as the main character, who's no Yuto Tanaka, though I find fault with that one too for other reasons.
Perhaps they are trying to make the character relatable, but they fixate on one aspect of that and neglect any character growth as a result. If not for the CEO in this one, Keichi would still be struggling.
Still, this is one of the better stories they have on this channel. No doubt your list of minuses would increase on some of the earlier stories.
