    Want to give you a big “thank you” for you thoughtful step by step diagnostics. I was able diagnose and locate a turbo intake leak and salvage my long road trip. Did a 20 minute parking lot repair of the air intake turbo supply line with a $15 pipe repair fiber tape kit. Would never have figured it out without your videos. Repair has held for 800 miles. Picking up the new part tomorrow.

    I've seen this issue with a few cars and most times, the car won't start because the car's computer system doesn't recognize that the gear is in PARK. The system thinks you're trying to start the car in DRIVE so the ignition is deactivated.....but this seems like a more unique situation. Very good video.

    • @KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair

    • @velvetoshins
      @velvetoshins Před rokem

      You have to prune the fuel filter and let the engine crank for 1.5 minutes because on the 2001 there is no in tank fuel pump. It takes that long for it to pull it up into the motor. Seems crazy but it’s true. Keep it cranking until it starts.

      michael gebremeskel thanks! I would not recommend doing a resistance test on a crank sensor because the results of that test can be very misleading! you're gonna need a scope to test a crank sensor, the signal is too fast!

    bro, 2013 accord, i do a piston preassure test, change the spark plugs and then the car wont start and now i get P2363 and also, i get p0202, p0303, p0404 injector"A" circuit. however, im thinking its a byproduct of the first code. What can you tell me about this. Is it the preassure regulator sensor, oil pump went bad, injection pump regulator or a wiring issue? thanks. Also, once again great video. In fact, because of your catalytic video i was able to cure a multiple missfire on my work van. by the way the car turns and if i spray the intake with starter fluid, it starts but shuts off...

    • @KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair
      @KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair  Před 2 lety

      powerhouse since the vehicle starts after you spray starting fluid in the intake, your problem is most likely a defective fuel Pump! check for fuel pressure, if there is no fuel pressure check for power and ground at the pump! I have a couple of videos on this channel that show you how to test the fuel pump! I recommend you watch them! Good Luck!

    Hi had you heard something about that, I get a 2008 dodge sprinter 2500, I’m getting the code 2641-008 B60 (Exhaust back pressure sensor ) plausibility error, I just change the sensor and still the code it’s coming back right away it’s cleared, I Check the three wires plug connector, looks ok 5v, solid ground, good continuity signal wire to the Pcm, I put some extra ground from the battery to the frame and motor, Pcm case and nothing, i tested both sensors in another car and works good, the lifedata is showing always 5000 hpa or 72.3 psi i think it’s a default value. I check in the other good car and shows the same with the plug disconnect. Any of you guys has heard anything about that, any ideas what could be, thanks

    I got a Toyota Camry 1999 model with a confirmed P0340 and a pending P0116, P0773 code. The symptoms the customer told me were: engine stalling while on motion and during that time the car just wouldn't start because the engine was very hot but when the waited for an hour or more the car later started. What I noticed was that the car revv high intermittently on it's own but will return to normal idle again about 5 second again, and the exhaust tailpipe was really darkened when I put my hand. It was raining heavily that's why I was unable to check anything further. Plugs, fuel pump and a relay( the don't know where the relay was removed though) was replaced by another engineer but the problem still persist. Please how do I fix this problem?
    Will replacement of part like camshaft position sensor fix this problem?

      @@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair Thank you so much for your support and assistance 🤝.
      I checked there and didn't see the CMP sensor nor a hole where it should've fitted into however I saw the connector only. Fortunately, I saw the fault today. I was imagining why the code for temperature sensor displayed hence it prompted me to ask the car owner if they've ever experienced overheating with the car. He acknowledged that fact and was more detailed in his explanation, that the fan was not working and radiator have been leaking and the keep adding water. It was the cooling system that was causing the water temperature sensor code to show. The radiator was leaking water and one among the two fan was not working so when the car is hot, it stalls. But it will restart after the car is left to cool. Although I didn't test run it because he told me the fuel was low.
      I have fixed the fan. Both are working now but for the radiator I told them to give it to a specialist on radiator to fix the leak.
      If they fix the radiator I'm hoping the problem will be permanently fixed.
