The $55K education package includes the machine, Mastercam, Blaser Coolant, Kennametal Tools & Holders, SCHUNK Vise, Haimer 3D Sensor, Mitutoyo Inspection Package and Titan of CNC Curriculum.
Package Deal is good for schools and private companies. There is also an Incredible Lathe Package for under $50K. If you get both the Mill & Lathe, I think they are like $98K.
Which is incredible for this level of machines.
Find out more in the description under the CZcams video.
Yes you guys are getting good deals but we get screwed here in OZ.
Working to make it worldwide.
can we get the lathe info?
What if you are just an individual wanting to learn and have a place to set up the mill?
Does the training package include a chip auger? Our rep from Ellison said he’s not sure which is weird but yea lol
I was a both a skilled conventional center lathe turner and universal miller in the 1960's , jobs what take you guys a few minutes cycle time to complete would maybe take a hour, hi tech back in the day was a taper turning attachment and copy lathe. I feel fortunate as a retired engineer to witness such radical and amazing technological advances over the past decades but none so mind-blowing as Titan Kennometal .I love your ground breaking videos and feel privileged to have 'met' you awesome guys. Thank you. (I'm from UK btw)
I was trying to make a crazy rotor offset and angled holes when I was 22. Took me a few days and didnt work. Thats when I moved to CNC. A part that would take me a day in a conventional mill, now takes 30 minutes plus set up time. 32 now and CNC Manager of Infinity Drain... PS never finished my project from 10 years ago. ha ha
Great video. Thanks for putting it together. I don' know how many videos Nicole has done, but she's pretty good in front of a camera. I only wish this was available in Canada! We need a Titans of CNC presence in Canada! Thanks again. Cheers.
Just read the info on your site! Thank you!!! This is awesome!! 😃
Thanks for posting. Looks like a great opportunity. another tool setters probably 10% of this cost but it is well worth it.

We need more girls like Nicole working with these great machines ...... Girl Power 👍 😄

Amazing drilling.
I am getting closer to acquiring this machine and the lathe too. It will be a good wait but hopefully within two years along with all the tooling as well.
Great job Nicole!
Man I absolutely love how clean yall keep your shop
My employer insists on keeping our machine shop spotless, as we frequently have customers coming through on tours, frequently with little notice.
Cảm ơn bạn. Tôi cũng là 1 kỹ sư ngành khuôn mẫu nên thẫy video của bạn hay.
55K? That sounds like a great deal. I have been shopping around for an entry level CNC machine and this might be the best I have found!
I start my CNC Mills class tomorrow, it’ll be on a Doosan, very excited!
Where u From ?
It would be wonderful if there was this kind of package for people with machines shops in their garage and dreams of making a hobby a full time business. My dream anyway.
Does the Doosan DEM 4000 casting sit on the floor?
Perfect.. this is an affordable setup for small shop or educational purpose..love the idea.
hi.this is a simple machining..plz mill hardest work.i am working by Edgecam,Of course very dominant, i want to know mastercam has Better performance in 4 & 5 axis jobs or Edgecam?thank u for your help
Only for US based folks. 55k for all this equipment? I would get it.
In germany it would cost 120k 🤷🏽♂️
in china same size CNC prices are under 20k

So, all for helping everyone with manufacturing and CNC, yes, that’s great. I’ve been watching their channel for a long time. Love the information and videos as well as his staff...However....Canada should be able to get the same deal on the whole package. Please make the same deal available to Canada my friend. Come on. Rip Doosan a new one on this issue.
Yeah wanna see the price of this type of machine in England 🏴 we get ripped a new arse hole
@@marka9261 the doosan dem 4000 has (x,y,z) 550/400/450 mm travel while the skyfire has 350/190/300 mm travel. the spindle is better, the coolant system is better, the servos are better, the ballscrews are better, the toolchanger is better and the controls are fanuc, which are known to be very reliable, accurate and are a known industry standard. I have no clue why you think a skyfire cnc plays in the same league as this doosan.

I love your videos Titan❤
I've been working on the Titan Building Blocks parts at school. Currently programming the 10-M in F360. I'm trying to find this "37M" part on the Academy site, but am having no luck. Is this an unreleased course or something? Also, what's up with the 2nd operation for the 10M?! Can't find anywhere. Thanks!
Excellent work
The only I can say is,,,,, TITANS OF CNC ACADAMY is AWSOME, BOOM!!!!! Love it
This is great Fanuc tutorial on setup. - There is hardly any videos on that control. even though its a very common one. Plus old school setup is very relevant as well.
This control is based on the latest Fanuc 0i-MF series I think, not the newer Fanuc 0i-MF Plus what is said on Doosan's website, in their pdf it shows the Plus version of the 0i-MF series.
Override dials are far more intuitive than pressing a flat panel button. Also have a dial for axis selection and override allow the operator to switch things without having to look at the panel every time. It doesn't take long to develop a comfortable feel for the machine.
@@opendstudio7141
We own a Haas ST25Y NGC (2019) and I don't like that controlpanel, it's the same as on a Haas Mill, the control is OK but the panel s_cks,
it has only one dial for the axis, everything else goes by flat panel buttons.
@@ytfan3815 I have ran a number HAASes over the decade. The machine is OK and it does the job, but has too many buttons to pick from and requires reading the panel. It's just cumbersome and a bit tedious to operate manually.

I do not have experience with all the latest and the greatest, but out of Haas, Fanuc, Heidenhain and Okuma machines I have used, I swear by my Okuma Lathe. The most user friendly start and go experience so far. The one I work on does not need air pressure either, besides for parts catcher and maybe some other accessory item. One thing I would like to have with current split screen looking function is to have 2 programs open at the same so you could easily paste copied lines from one to another. Right now have to close one program to paste to another unless I have not figured something out yet.

Hey you machined the top what about that flat bottom? Is that part if the part or is another machining pattern needed to do the bottom? If so wouldn't you have to machine a holder to hold the part? Sorry for all the questions just curious. And again love the academy.

nice job 👍
Shouldn't the tool lengths be smaller positive numbers? The G54 Z Offset is the one that needs to be one that is negative. The tool lengths is what keeps the Gauge Line off the part.
Why do you not set x and y in centre of block?
You need to probe 4 times then and calculate the center. the WCS Y =face of the stop jaw. You dont need to probe WCS Y later on utill you move the vise.
I think it's a old version machine now using probe and sensor for tool offsets
Can anyone tell me what kind of vise she is using?
Seems to me Titans of CNC Academy are making the Build Back Better initiative a reality here.
why I think program runing not smooth ?

how much cost some 3axis doosan + tuninon like HAAS VM3+TR200Y ?
Prices should be fairly close to haas, if not better for the options you get
very nice. I want to learn Operating sistem. So Haw can i get training about this. Ont the other side i am intersected to business at CNC But don’t know how impossible!
Where can I get a stone like the one you used to stone the table?
I got it MSC
I prefer EXT Z+ for dry-run and I don't change G54, it's safer to use EXT ( input a positive Z value ) and put it back to Z0 after test-run.
Why not using USB-slot instead of CF-slot (memory-card), better is to use the Ethernet connection with the Fanuc Program Transfer Tool software, only $ 24,-
I see you run directly from CARD ( BIN-file ) , but the program is only 94 kB, for me I would use the USB and then transfer it into MEM, the CARD-slot is a weak device.
No prob ? to set location , and to set tools?
Hi I want to learn cnc programming what should I do ?
I like to know if Doosan can ship machines to Asuncion Paraguay 🇵🇾
Out of Pure curiosity, can the machinists in the Titan shop program manually? or is it all CAD/CAM experience. Id imagine a lot of manual programming would be a little inadequate for a lot of the parts you guys make, but im curious nonetheless.
On another note about probing stock. Referencing one side of the stock and moving half the width/diameter in is good if youre working with dimensions youre absolutely certain of, but quite often the stock can be a little over or under what the supplier says it is, with variation along its length, diameter, or width. unless im squaring stock myself, i always probe both ends of my piece on the x and y axis and find the centre point from there (if im working from the centre of my stock). on properly squared stock its not essential but you get some pretty interesting jobs in machining, and dont always recieve perfect stock like this to cut from.
A good machinist/programmer should know how to write gcode, or at least understand every line and see the tool path. Maybe the post keeps doing something dumb and you need to modify it, not knowing that stuff can be a problem.
I agree with WCGwkf. At the company where I work in Romania we have like maybe half a milion lines of code. This is just unsustainable for a human to do.But when you need a certain block to do a certain job you must know G-code.
Please explain: does the 55k include the whole VMC?
Sure looks like it does. I was expecting it to be more.
@lego gonk droid It does. There's a link in the blurb. It's not a half bad deal actually. I'm just wondering if it includes probing as seen in the video
@@machinist7230 The machine centre package includes everything in the video. Including the 3D probe

Hi....where can I buy the stone you use in this video???
Norton - 4" Diam x 1-1/2" Thick, Silicon Carbide Sharpening Stone
really surprised you load your programs off of a card most fanucs can use what is called a data server where you are connected to the companies server and you just grab what file you need off of the server. Is that not a 31i?
It's based on the Fanuc 0i-F (PLus) Series, on this machine there's RS232 , USB, PCMCIA/CF Card and Ethernet connection.
There are connections for FOCAS and Data Server via extra hardware.
With the Fanuc Program Transfer Tool, only $24,- (European price) you can Drag 'n Drop files from/to your machine with your office PC via Ethernet.
Data Servers and Ethernet connection are there for many years also on old models.
This machine has 2Mb (normal 512kB) internal program memory storage for max. 1000 programs, when you use/make BIN-files via CF-Card you can make programs up to 2Gb, that program that create the BIN-files is also $24,- in Europe.
Thats a nice starter package for someone getting started. Add a trunion and you can do some serious work.

I was going to community college for cnc courses until covid 19 shut everything down & finished 1 class because it was only half a semester
I hope you can pick it up again or get a desktop CNC to continue learning. Or at least a 3D printer to train your CAD skills.
I finished mine a year before covid hit. I would have been pissed if I didn't get to finish before shit shut down. I highly recommend getting a hang of fusion 360 unless you have a copy of whatever you're learning, and also learn manual gcode. Then when class comes you'll be the best. I had years of experience tinkering with cad before I went to school so the cam part was intuitive. I studied the shit out gcode though, and wrote my programs as if they were for production while others use a manual mill to square up their stock, I used my program to do so. Here's my nims cert czcams.com/video/8mRSUbEdP3o/video.html
how are you price in CNC machine
great video by Nicole!! but why Fanuc dont use USB slot insted of card?
We have machines with Fanuc controls and USB slots. May be an option on the Doosan.
@@japcas No, this machine has them both, including Ethernet, standard 2Mb memory.
This program was run directly from the flash card, used as an external memory card source. USB can only be used to transfer the program to the machines internal memory, not run directly from the media.
@@deansteadman ... Yes, but it's only 94 Kb, better to load right into the machines memory, standard on this machine is 2Mb.
You can run programs larger than 2Mb but then you have to make a BIN file by the [ Fanuc Memory Card Program Edit Tool - Fanuc A08B-9010-J700/ZZ11 ] , you can create programs up to 2Gb but we never used programs largers then 8Mb but it worked fine, it works better than when we used the M198 (CF) method 😉, program costs €20,- ( $24 ) in Europe, or use a Fanuc Data-Server ( $5000,- )
@@ytfan3815 Data server is the way to go, thats what my mazaks have, so easy to get any file you want.
Teach heidenhain?
Why Don’t you set the Z offset for all the tools from the Top of the table to the top of a 1,2,3 block and then Shift the G54 the difference between the Top of Stock and the top of the 1,2,3 block?
Yeah, I don’t understand why anybody measures tools off a changing point in space. Just measure them off the table and if the tool stays in the machine, no reason to check it from job to job other than for tool wear. Saves so much time. If you got a laser or touch toolsetter on a machine, you don’t move that toolsetter around from job to job....it always stays in the same Z spot. So do the same even if you are setting manually...your table becomes your toolsetter. Saves so much time with bigger carousel machines.
@@dturner40 Absoloutely Especially someone with a smaller machine with less features no touch probe etc....makes life soo much easier. if you need that exta OOUMFFF of Presicion just check the offset before the run of the tools again.

But realistically, this machine and the excellent training that comes with it needs to be in high schools and trade schools across the country. (Do we still have trade schools?)
@@raystanczak4277 Yes, we still have trade schools. I took machining classes 4 years ago and now work as a machinist. One of our new guys is supposed to start the same classes, but they fill up, lots of people want them.
Hi, is this package still available in 2024?

Nice
can we still buy this kit ?
Your tool offsets should be what the tool actually is from the face of of spindle to the tool, it should never be a negative amount. Your tool is the same length no matter what machine you put it in, no matter what job your running.
If you have a pre-setter that may be the case. In this case it didn't look like she had that option. This is a bit more of an old school method. The method here is to always reference the same place when touching off tools. Like a 1-2-3 block of the table of the machine, rather then the top of the work piece surface.
Good my friend
Is this limited to schools or open to anyone?
Keep it up. Boom!

What’s better Doosan or Haas?
Obvious question, doosan, but haas are cheaper.
People with experience on both say doosan is better, but haas machines have good customer service and parts availability and are in general more reliable. Haas machines also hold their value and are easier to sell. If your machines diet is almost all alum a haas will work fine, super hard materials a doosans rigidity will help. I used to work work an aerospace manufacturer and they had a lot of haasmachines but the steel work was ran on okuma, and German machines.
Bom dia 😍 povo lindo vamos a mais uma aula
your good video
How are there never ANY chips to be found in those machines. How about some real life applications like lean manufacturing, fast changeovers, creative time saving tips and tools, etc. Tell us how to compete with Chinese level efficiencies. Knowing how to make a part is only small part of being a competitive business!
Umm..... look again
Pay employees 5 dollars an hour and you'll compete. Automation is how you compete, robots running robots, automatic pallet changers. Automatic tool setters, efficient programming. It costs a shit ton of money but if I had a few million dollars I'd line up a row of matsura 5axis machines with pallet loaders and pay one guy a good wage to keep them all loaded and running.
Alright Alright Alright!
🤮🤮
Your parameters on the machine are set up wrong. Get doosan in there to speed up the machine. Mine was lagging in corners like yours and they changed a parameter to have a fast look ahead and faster movement. It shaved 2 mins off of a cycle time and prevented extreme tool wear.
Great video but you should differentiate between input, +input , and input.c as they do three very different things.
Could you please explain the differences?
@@bhekidlamini51 input C calculates based off machine position, input inputs a typed value directly, +input is to add some value to an existing input
@@jacobacostamasterscribe2200, thank you very much for the explanation.
Wow..55K can export to Malaysia with this price tag.
Why did you replace your Haas machines with powerful probes and G187 codes and many other process speed solutions with this inefficient machine?
I think these machines have boxways, way more rigid. Does a lot of exotic metals. I assume the Haas's were beat to the bones after a few years.
