A throwback to almost 7 years ago when I took my first paramotor flight! I had almost forgot his footage existed! If you are feeling inspired to fly, definitely check out Aviator PPG linked in the description. Following this trend of quarantine content, I want to make a paramotor helmet build video next. Leave any questions you might have on that topic down below. - tuckergott.com/collections/all
Ur amazing
This is cool
just saying, how was this comment nine hours ago when this video was literally put up half an hour ago?? :D
ilyyyy
Wow I remember when you were only 5k subs
What a journey we have been on brother! It's been such an adventure. I'm grateful for your friendship and all the fun we've had for all these years!
AviatorShow hi I want to do the same
I feel the same about that first flight with only one difference; my first paramotor flight wouldn't have happened if I had never heard of Tucker Gott. Even after pilot training, hundreds of skydives, and a few paraglider flights off a mountain; nothing prepared me for that sight of the world dropping away from my feet.
I am the same. Tucker Gott got me interested in paramotor flying also. He is a great resource of info on the sport.
Would you say it's possible to learn even doe iv no aviation training on any flying airport.
@@paulorr1987 it is possible. I would not advise it. Get training.
@@paulorr1987 "teach yourself to fly" is literally a line in the song "Dumb Ways to Die".
Wouldn't even know the word paramotor if it hadn't been for Tucker Gott videos.
Same
Tucker, my kids got me started thinking about having a first flight like this! Thanks for keeping me pumped about learning this sport. I am turning 60 soon and this will be a gift to myself. Can't wait to have this experience!
I'm 56 and WAS thinking that I am too old for this....Then I see this and think; OK...maybe I Can do it!! Ed from Dingman's Ferry, PA
I’m 60 and planning on training after we can get together again. I have been a general aviation pilot for more than 30 years but I look forward to the freedom and the view!
@@lowdowndan Nice!
My suggestion is do it sir! I'm 55 and saving for a sailboat for when I'm 60. Then San Diego to Hawaii for me..
A lot less ah impact on the old knees lol
Follow the dreams man, the Sky is the limit!
@@randys1889 You will so Love The Islands!! I spent some time living on Maui working with an Orthopedic Surgeon and I came to absolutely live and breathe Maui!!
Go for it!!!!!
Me: *Reacting to Tucker reacting to his first flight.*
Lol
You should make a reaction video so I can react to your reaction video of tuckers reaction video
Me reacting to the reaction on tucker reacting to his first flight.
Yes that’s how it works
Well, unsurprisingly, you made your first flight look great :) My first launch was... Let's just say it didn't win any beauty pageants... My instructor, Jiri, tricked me at the last moment to go full power (it was supposed to be a low flight taxi). But I got up, and I landed on my feet! Here's mine, if you're bored :) czcams.com/video/8-uxY4_BFxU/video.html
I also got started flying in Cessnas and got my private certificate at 21. At age 43 I decided to try this crazy thing I found called powered paragliding and 13 years later have never looked back. There is just no flying experience that can compare to low terrain flying in a PPG (my personal favorite type of flying in PPG). I still get the biggest smile watching the reaction of PPG pilots making their first successful takeoff and landing. I swear we all have the exact same exact reaction along with a smile we can't seem to erase from our face for days.
that $8,000 turned out to be a very good long term investment.
It must of been fun
He made more than that on CZcams
@@hp11208 right bro i wish I could fly like him
@@humanity5272 Me too man
Travel review DIY yea that’s the investment
Pretty good impression of Eric! LOL loved getting my training with Aviator! Highly recommended them.
I enjoy how real, and down to earth you are. Great guy.
Thanks.
This is a special thread for those of us who followed you from the beginning. There are so many firsts for you over the years. Taking your mom up, the Icarus race, your mile-high adventure, overseas travels, when your lady came into the picture. All along, you have kept most of your youthful enthusiasm intact and love for the sport up front and center. Perhaps the day will come when you will share your flight and safety regime as an instructor. The best of the best are needed for that. Until then we will continue to enjoy your adventures.
Great voice over of Eric, spot on! Lol sorry “mom”. Awesome turn back Tucker. Thanks for sharing. Be safe everyone. Let’s get back to Flying!!
Lmao. It's alright son ;)
Now that I have heard "Eric on helium" I need him to do the same for Aviator videos :)
I about cried laughing when I heard it! Hahaha.
Love all the content tucker! You're a massive inspiration to me. Thanks
Wow, that was a beautiful first launch and landing! Thank you for sharing your story about how you got into this; and that you're living your dream with no regrets, that's where it's at! Awesome!
Having watched quite a lot of your videos I really think that you, Tucker Gott, should be an Ambassador for Paramotor Flying. You show skill, good thinking, good advice, humour and general common sense. All this with experience and enthusiasm, you are the best candidate for Ambassador. You could easily teach and get many people into the sport.
Yep, You never forget your first flight. Glad to see yours was videoed. My first flight in 1978 was never filmed, as was my next 4 years of Hang Gliding. Memorys I cannot share with my kids. I'm getting into PPG now, and both my kids are excited about flying. My son even joined the USAF at age 17.
Ordered a blue shirt for my birthday. Great content, Tucker! Have been watching for a couple of years, and really enjoy your channel. Just saw your vlog when you took your mom for a flight. Very cool! I am also a balloon pilot, but am ready to move on to something new. Next step, lessons! Hoping you have a great week!
I must extend an awesome thank you Tucker! I have been watching your adventures for a year now and have now just completed the Aviator Paramotor training. What an experience! This video is a museum capture of the history of Aviator Paramotor! Most of us in our class were attracted to this sport from your videos so you have something to be definitely proud of! Gimme a hug when we meet! The Aviator school is definitely one of one of the best and Eric has built something special with his school here in Lake Wales. When I watched this I got chills remembering my first tow flights and then powered flights. Such an amazing sport! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I can truly say that we aviators have come a long way. Some of us still need to really reach a peak, but we can really enjoy what we have learned
Tucker, I started watching your videos last year, which inspired me to get into this sport, I now have been through training and own my gear and fly as often as possible, your a great inspiration to this sport..it was great to see your first flight
It truly is life changing! Like many others I first ran across PPG on your channel, Tucker. Back when you had only 5K subscribers. I remember my first flight like it was yesterday. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to go after my dreams.
It's an amazing and beaultiful sport! I really enjoy all of your videos. Flying like you was my dream as a boy here in Brazil. Watching you I fulfill my dream. Thank you.
I remember seeing my first paramotor when I was in kindergarten. The paramotor pilot flew over my school and landed in the field next to the school. It blew my mind at the time and it still blows my mind seeing your videos. Keep up the great work, Tucker! I am a pilot myself and your videos have been keeping my head up because of the great content you've been producing over the years. I can't wait to get back to flying once this pandemic is over!
Despite having been watching your channel for 4 years now (and in turn eventually learning to fly two years ago) seeing your first flight is still exciting and I appreciate you sharing it with us. That first moment off the ground however small is indeed, amazing.
I love your talk thru of your first few runs and your dubover of Eric 😂 Priceless. The whole thing put a big smile on my face and also reminded me of my first moments too. It's really something to just be there in a chair in the air. Cheers dude!

Tucker, can we get hats with like wig hair sticking out around the edges?
This
ha everyone just flying around dressed up as Tucker 😅
Thanks for the great videos Tucker. I live in NW Washington State and have marveled at the hang gliders and para gliders launching off of Blanchard Mountain above my home. Your videos on training and gear along with the awesome adventures you have had are inspiring me to take the first steps towards getting in the air!
Thanks for sharing, Tucker! Looked like an amazing moment!
I'll get there one of these days. I've had my equipment 8 months now. Just waiting for that perfect day or evening - a rarity in the Northeast this time of year!
Dope video man! That view from up above is beyond awesome. Definitely part of my bucket list 🙌💯😎👍
I've always wanted to fly like Peter Pan and so far this is the closest thing a I've seen to that- much more freedom than a small airplane would be. I don't know how I stumbled onto your channel, but I definitely want to try paramotors at some point. If you're ever in Southern Oregon and you're feeling like offering tandem flights.... :P
Joava learn to Astro project you fly like Peter Pan every single time ♥️
Southern Oregon is known for free flying. Check out Rouge valley for some paragliding. I'm sure you can get a tandem with an instructor there.
Go in a air turbine or whatever there called with the fan below you
ah a very special moment indeed! Very inspiring, I hope when the time comes that i do get lessons there it will still be the same group of guys. cant wait
That's such a wonderful memory! I'm glad you found it! I'm living vicariously though your fantastic videos!!
Gotta say, just found you and have binge-watched all day. i am blow away by you and what you do, So well-spoken, patient and passionate. Nothing but great admiration!! I'll be back!!!
YAY, I made it here before thousands... And I love this channel!!!
Thank you for all the awesome videos! I knew I wanted to get into PPG but now it's a done deal. I live in Florida so I'll be hitting up Aviator PPG to schedule training! Thanks Tucker!!
Great footage, crazy to see how much you've grown from a Paramotor newbie to an insane Risky Biscuits expert 😁
Thanks for the Great videos Tucker!
I’m retired military and love aviation. I also love racing dirt bikes and bike road racing. I saw my first ppg 8 plus years ago and instantly knew it was for me…. Eventually. Motorcycling of the sky if u will. I am now counting days down for July 2022 , when my formal training begins. Although there’s a self taught desire and I’m certain I could do it, I’m paying to be legit. In the meantime, I like most others, am self educating with videos, books, etc. I can not wait for this new journey! After retirement, I’ve been missing a certain lifestyle and the associated adrenaline fix. Now I’m adding a parajet to the motorcycle stables hoping it will bring peace, relaxation, and some rush. Thanks for sharing your stories Tucker, they are inspirational.
Great hearing your personal history of flight. Flying is such a wonderful, privileged feat!
Thank you Tucker! You are my inspirer!
Really cool to see that once in a lifetime moment captured on film, I can't help but think about what it must have been like for the first humans to fly and how liberating it must feel to be able to experience that yourself. And great narrating too 😆.
Awsome! Thanks for sharing your first flight :)
As always, Tucker, I enjoy watching and learning!
Hey I just discovered your channel and YOU have inspired me to pursue this... thank you Tucker for sharing your flights and experiences with us... it truly feels like I’m flying with you.... and it’s Awesome : )
Absolutely love all the designs 👍🏻👍🏻
Great Job Tucker! Some beauty shots. Would also love to see some do's & don'ts pre-flight / flight from your personal experience for newbs :)
Yeah the smooth feeling.. The first time is the best one... We are grounded here due to covid. Can't wait to continue training
i'm SOOOOO doing this! thanks TG for sharing your videos...until then, i guess i never realized the prop could be worn instead of sitting in a wheeled buggy. since -i've been OBSESSED! definitely booking with Aviator [what an AMAZING program with AMAZING people]. this is awesome!
Looking forward to flying with you!
Thanks for sharing your a responsible pilot and it shows. Your actions have inspired many hopefully they take the safety aspect seriously. I imagine packing chutes taught you more about the importance of consistency and safety.
I remember my first flight in Mexico about 5 years ago. Really an unreal experience. Anyone that is on the fence about pursuing this as a hobby be prepared. Its a pretty big initial monetary investment, and continues to be. Definitely takes alot of dedication and isn't as easy as it looks from these videos. But the ability of pulling your paramotor out and taking off, seeing people look up in awe, its like the most james bond or superhero thing a person can do. It's worth it but be prepared to put in the effort required to get started. It's an amazing hobby, definitely becomes a real passion but not something you can just dabble with or kind of go in halfway.
I remember spending ages searching for your first flight in your videos! Thanks for sharing bro!
Thank you Tucker, your flight to McDonalds, made me watch many of your vids!!! you really got me exited too!! When lockdown and stuff is over, me and my girl are planing an Introduction flight with a paramotor! thnx for your awesome content! Greetz. from the Netherlands
So cool that you the moment on tape. It must have been surreal. I dig the channel man!
first solo today. what a day! so happy with my teacher! Tribal Flight- Brisbane. Thanks for your videos Tucker.
Lost audio? I heard everything just fine. I especially enjoyed Eric’s enthusiasm.
Something tells me that it's gonna be better than my first parachute jump decades ago in the army. We made 5 jumps in the last week of the school at ft.Benning GA. Night jumps at ft.Bragg with a combat load at 3 am are a whole other story. Can't wait for this pandemic to be done with. Thanks for sharing your videos and stay safe.
That opening shot of you taking off in to the sun and clouds with your legs dangling like a turkey trying to fly was EPIC!
voice over of your coach was hysterical... thank you Tucker *smiles*
Love this video. Can't wait for my training at AviatorPPG.
Cannot wait to have you!
Hey man new subscriber. Just wanted to say you truly are an inspiration and I appreciate all of your great content.
Thanks so much! Welcome to the channel. 😁
Dude I recently got way into ur channel in the last 2 weeks amazing work!
Awesome sauce!!! Can’t wait for my first flight!
Third time is truly a charm in this one. A beautiful sky, horizon, and sunset on that magical flight.
Love your videos you make my day!!!
Tucker! I'd love to see an update on your current gear and setup you're using for recording/etc. I know you're rocking the Sena 10R but it would be sweet to see the way you set everything up and prepare for your videos and flights. Keep up the awesome work, loving the content and can't wait to get into it!
I cant wait till quarantine is over so I can get some training !! Awesome First Flight , always great content from your channel !!👍
Hats off to your dedication 🙌
I'm just amazed 😱 ♥
Awesome video great story telling.
I've found your channel accidentaly a few days ago and I've been watching some of your videos these days. Its pretty cool that thing called paramotor and the way it flies. I would like to learn to do it, but unfortunately, it wont happen for me, at least not soon. But its relaxing watching you fly and have fun :) keep it cool man :)
Oh the voice over part was by far my favorite 😂😂 new subscriber here, actually just bought a Tshirt 👍 keep up the flying man, I love watching it!!
I was at Oshkosh when you flew in the show, y’all did great!
Inspirational .... thank you Tucker.
Really enjoyed seeing your first paramotor flight! Thanks for sharing this. :)
The lip sync was awesome. I've never heard Eric in that octave..lolol
Me either! haha
Awesome Tucker!!!!
Love your channel! Wish I had gotten into that when I was young... I would love to drone one of your flights.. Keep it up and have fun!
as a graduate of Aviator PPG I found your voice-over of Eric's voice spot on...They made a lifelong dream of mine come true...I'll never forget my first flight either.
Awesome dude, so cool to see!!
I laughed so hard at the end part of that voice over! Cool that you still remember everything your instructor said and how he said it. So FUNNY!
EXACTLY how I said it ;) tone and all!
Lol. The Eric voice... Nice
Watch out, I might have to remember this ;)
Cool in sight on how to get into the sport. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe :)
Gosh you look much cooler nowadays compared to some of those old photos!
Great advice thanks Tucker.
Thanks for posting.
That was a really nice video to watch.... I am now trying to start this year.... and keeping the dream alive lol.
Yoooooo you’ve come so far, love your videos!!!!
agreed
Hey man just found the channel. Keep up the great work and stay safe up there in the sky ocean
Video topic idea: "How and when Tucker met Jaclyn, and how she got into flying."
What person doesn't like to watch a love story. But I don't believe he would have film on first dates though. That would be kinda weird.
@@willmoore8708 lmao, it would make more sense as a vlog from the two of them. I don't think Mark expected them to have footage of their first date
I love your videos tucker stay safe
Very cool, Tucker.
Hi,following you since a long time from India,Ahmedabad...we wish that my future generation can do this in India, very proud of u...keep flying high
Your videos are so exciting, especially when such bad things happening and people have to stay home for weeks and maybe even months, so thank you very much! Hi from Russia, sorry for my English, stay home, wash your hands, you are my life saver in the period of self-isolation)
Your English is almost perfect!
Just learned this week Aviator has one of their alliance members here in Indiana- Midwest PPG.
Lots of alumni of Midwest here in southern Indiana, Dave and Matt do a great job
This was awesome! Didn't know you had your private pilot, that's cool. I learned to fly RC as well, lots of fun. Think you would like tailwheel a lot...I learned in a J-3, and it's just more fun than a 172 or Cherokee.
Thank you for breaking it down. I’ve seen so many rich kids just buy it and try to figure it out. Good to see what actually NEEDS to go into your start into paramotoring
even knowing your are a total pro at it now, that first flight footage of you where you were still as new to it as all those first timers gave the same feels as all those first flight videos from before
Hi Tucker, I just found your channel by accident about 2 weeks ago and had never heard of or seen a paramotor before in my life. I been binge watching your channel ever since I found it. I am 28 and paralyzed from the waist down do to having a condition called Spina Bifida so I won't be able to fly a paramotor myself unfortunately. But man it really is fun and amazing just to live vicariously through your videos and see that kind of freedom. I love the content and will be watching for sure brotha. Happy flying and stay safe up there.
You could totally fly! I know of some paraplegic's who fly!
Keep up the great work
Enjoying the videos. Considering giving this sport a try! I got my PPL long time ago but full size aviation is expensive. Logged less than 100 hours. Enjoy flying RC planes too. In to drones now but this PPG thing just has my sensors tingling! I so want to try it! I’m 51 years old with a 20 year old mind. Hope my time isn’t running out!! Keep the videos coming!
I’ve watched a few of your videos and I’ve really enjoyed them - subscribed! I’m a PPL holder and eventually wouldn’t mind a go at para-motoring. 😊
My parajet mavric sport is coming next week!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Now that was AWESOME!
