Good friend👍👍👍
Most guys I watch repairing that sort, will form a new similar piece before cutting the rusty section out. Once the new oversized piece is formed enough to look right, the rust is cut back then the new section trimmed down to fix where it’s been cut. It may be more difficult to remake, especially right as left no match on the corners. Use cardboard for the floors to get a good template
i had nothing to go from! were well past that point now!
Dude. What welder are you using? I've got an old kempii that's too got even on its lowest setting. I really should buy something suitable for this type of repair. I'm fixing a Sierra ute cab at the moment.
Its a unimig viper, 185 i think. .8mm wire with gas.
It goes down quite a bit more than I'm using
@@redzook1 came here to ask the same thing, thanks! Are you self taught with the welding panel/beating thing?
@@joelspeldewinde9787 yep, have done some fabrication course's at tafe but i was already ahead of the end point of that course. So yep self taught i guess
@@redzook1 thanks! Bit inspiration to have a crack myself 👍
