Good video. I've watched all these conference stadium videos. You could make an argument for the ACC to have the best stadiums. They're not the biggest, but they are classy.

One of my favorite things about NC state's stadium is just how close the seats are to the sideline. Players can hear the fans and it leads to some great interactions, especially with the student section

Give me a break with Miami’s distance! Currently, 50% of Florida State University fans & alumni drive 200 miles or more to Doak Campbell Stadium for a game. Here is update on Doak Campbell Stadium: At the end of the 2023 football season, the entire Westside Stands will come down from goal line to goal line. There will be no Westside Stands for the entire 2024 season. The South End Zone you like so much will be change with bar stools that will have backs & a ledge to place drinks & food in part of that South End Zone. The Champions Club sits directly behind the South End Zone with unobstructed view due to only glass fronts facing the football field. Some of the soft cushy seats that will be retained. Champion Club members may eat & drink (liquor, beer, sodas, etc) all they want. All new bleacher seats will be installed where chair back seats are not installed. All Skyboxes will be upgraded and/or redesigned, the Westside Stands will have lounge type areas with embedded seats open glass fronts, couches, tv’s, and other perks: Some of these will be at field level with others 1/4 up, and some 1/2 way up. The Wow comes with the concession/bathroom area that will have polished flooring that reminded me of the floor at a mall. This flooring will continue under the entire stadium. All the talk about Doak Campbell Stadium getting a roof is right; but, the roof is for the under belly, with new lighting, and what appears to be air condition areas. The Eastside gets a facelift, the new bleacher seats that are broader & deeper. There is a hard completion date set, for the Season Opener against Alabama for the 2025 at Doak Campbell Stadium. Google for more info & photos, or go to “Tallahassee.com”. There will be 8 different types of seatings available 1st to season ticket holders & big time Seminole Boosters. Go Noles!! 🐴🔥🏹. 🏈

    Great video.
Also last year I become a VT season ticket holder for my 1st time and the environment was crazy. Yeah, you definitely gotta check out a game at Lane Stadium and experience Enter Sandman in person.
This year me and my dad renewed our season tickets and can’t wait to head back to Lane on on Saturday night. 😁🦃

@@AFStadiums if you catch a game at Lane Stadium on the west side of the stadium where the castle looking part is you gotta check out Hokie Village. Getting to play cool games, eat food, depending on the day of the game you get to meet other Hokie sport’s athletes and stuff like that.
Last year I got to take a picture with the men’s ACC Championship trophy when they won the ACC for the 1st time.

Definitely the best atmosphere, has really been loud this year. Was watching Duke vs Wake earlier tonight and that stadium was empty. Duke has the best they've had in years , it's a shame they don't get any more support than what they get from their fanbase. I've been to away games where there were more vt fans than home fans at uva , unc, and Duke. Miami fans don't show up half the time either, as with Pittsburgh too.

@@thomastrain7311 yeah, I saw a solid part of that game it definitely looked like it was a ghost town. That stadium needs renovations/upgrades immediately. Even when VT plays against cupcake schools the stadium is almost full. Go look at when VT was playing Watford last year. I was at that game and my dad was shocked how many fans came even it was against a school like Watford.

Never been in a louder stadium than the Carrier Dome for the Penn State game. Syracuse was up 42-0 at half and that stadium sounded like jet engines!

Make one including SMU, Stanford, California! You could also do Notre Dame just for fun. I think Boston College’s stadium is underrated. It should definitely be above Pitt and others. Boston College’s campus is beautiful, same with the stadium. Truly amazing to see in person. (I am not a BC fan and I’m not from the Boston area.)

Pitt DOES play at their own stadium. There was deal where Pitt Stadium (on campus) was torn down and the valuable land was used for a basketball venue and other things. Any funding they would have gotten from the state to rebuild was given up to add to building Heinz Field. it was designed to turn most Steelers signage from Steelers to Pitt and Black&Gold to Blue$Gold. Even art graphics. Do you know how far off campus it is? About 4 miles. There are places at Pitt you can see it especially when fireworks mark it.

Scott stadium should definitely be ranked higher on your list. It’s a lot better than some of the ones you listed above it. Also it has lots of suites between the lower and upper decks but you can’t see them in the pictures you chose.

PNC is one of the better shared Pro/College stadiums in basketball though. Atmosphere doesn’t suffer that much and it’s right next to Carter Finley so it makes sense.
