Not really, Semedo's defending yesterday was basically a crime against football, if he was doing is job instead of fkin around we wouldn't have suffered as many goals as we did.

England in the last 16 is a possibility. That said, they won't go past that, where Portugal could. He brings up a good point re center backs but as he himself stated, there are other players that can slide in. Pepe and Giota are liabilities. Their experience is priceless but their legs won't keep pace with the top strikers. Pepe is usually good for a yellow or two...especially at his age. He will put pressure on the officials to make the calls they SHOULD make.

@@moekhan6842 He's not overrated at all but he's struggling to assert himself on the national team (and in Atleti too), but anybody that says he doesn't have the potential to be a world class player has never watched him properly. The other attacking players have settled a lot better and a lot quicker (specially Jota), but thruth be told André Silva needed 5 years to reach the level he's at now so, let's be patient. Félix will do fine for now as a 2nd half sub.

Danilo it's the 4th Central Back, we have one extra CDM normally Portugal call 2 CDM but we got 3 at the moment one of them (Danilo) can play as CB this way the team it's always balanced on every position.
Ok Danilo its not a proper CB but one full season playing as CB for PSG and he did quit well so I believe its a valid option and better then get a 4th CB how normally don't do any minutes!

We have the two best CB in the euros and the soluctions for the LB are wonderfull, don't forget mourinho can only see strategy and tall big defenders to anule the opositors, this is MOU after is prime.

Domingos Duarte and Rúben Semedo had great seasons for their clubs and could both be called. Santos sacrificed a full-back to keep William close by - he is a fetish player for him... and for good reasons by the way. So if anything happens with the first unit we can even move back Danilo or Palhinha. That was the mind thought behind.

I'm still waiting when Mourinho would Manage Portugal & Pep will Manage Spain. I do understand that Managing a Nation team is way different than Managing a club team. Remember when Muller said "when we won WC , we had most players from Bundesliga or those who played with us & knew about each other" this actually helps in International matches. it's hard to cope up in 2-3 weeks for attackers & mid fielders.

The worst Portugal "ever" did in a Euro was Quarter Finals, the rest is always semi finals and 2 Finals , one of them the last victory. And yet , with a powerful atack like that, a strong middle field , Ruben Dias that is the best of the World at is positions, Pepe that is one of the best also and still in great shape, as a bench that is as good or better that more than half the Teams in this Euro , is the reigning Champion but is still not considered one of the favourites, but the english speaking media and the others ( french, spanish , german and italian ) say that England is. The propaganda is amazing. If this team had the English jersey on top people would say that the Euro was almost won and that the final would be against France. BUt no, it's Portugal, we can be as good and tough as nails that the foreign typical english speaking media ( and their betting houses that get billions ) will put England and the usual suspect as "usual" and always in the top spot . It's already boring and this stuff as to change, we are not in the 80's or the 90' anymore. The Premier League is great but the best players are almost ( if not always ) all from outside, folks.

i dont think the centre back was at fault ofcourse they did 2 own goals but if you analyse the goals our defensive midfield wasnt there they play lazy on that day and when sanches came in you saw that it changed you had more sprint more ball and more agressivnis in the midfield, its like whe you play with 2 defensive midfield player only 1 can go and support the attack but on that day both go and you saw a big hole where the defense had to play 5 or 6 german vs 4 defending and you cant play like that when you put 2 defensive midfield 1 has always to stay in front of the 2 center back to destroy the enemys passline in the midfield.

To be honest I don't find any chemistry or link up between the players... Everyone just want to do it alone....players must feel lucky that they have Ronaldo in their team.... despite they don't want to pass him except a few players...Players like Jota and Fernandes claim to be a Ronaldo fan...but they don't pass the ball to him in goal scoring opportunity...They take the shot from such tight angle when they can easily pass the ball to ronaldo who can easily grab a goal but they don't do it qnd end up missing the chance..if they don't play as a team then this might cost them from winning major games and from winning the cup again.
They literally scored the most beautiful team goal in tournament so far, with 33 passes leading to the goal. Stop talking out of your ass.
