Little late i got this pack in black it ended up gettin spray painted an earth tone and velcro over the logo
Hey. Thanks for the review! I was looking at backpacks for college and I was wondering what you would recommend between this and the apogee 28L pack. I have a 16” laptop and a tablet the size of an iPad as my main tech items that need to be protected.

Both are solid options, if you have a little bit of a higher budget I would lean towards the apogee as it is a little more rugged and provides some additional organization (or the Borealis which is a little closer in durability) whereas the jester is a solid option in a slightly lower price point
Can the backpack really hold a 16" laptop I bought it for a 13.5" laptop I was getting but I'm now going with a 15.6" laptop and I'm wondering if it will still get the job done
I don't have an idea on how to clean this bag from dirt. It says on its tag do not wash and spot the dirt with light detergent but it's not working.
Is it really not safe to wash it?

Does the bigger pocket with the laptop sleeve stay so stiff? Mine is very stiff still.
I just got mine today, and I found it very stiff aswell, its a squeeze to get my laptop in. Does it loosen up at any point?
are the cords in the front sturdy enough to hold a standard skateboard with the wheels facing out?
Thank you for watching! It could be a little annoying to get the board in and out and I would be worried about the grip tape running on the bag, but I think it would be able to hold it ok
I recently found adjuster for 12 with discount maybe nine dollars at Goodwill and it was just dusty and I washed it and tied delicate cycle wash. Just make sure you don’t have a big agitator., it looks like no.
I did find a borealis it was black it was around $17 and too big but I should’ve gotten it anyway , I shop frequently at the Goodwill and I find nice stuff and I was hoping to find a north face backpack like the jester which is the perfect size for me. I love your in-depth reviews.

I have heard people had problems with the water bottle pockets but I know lots of people have had success with them.

The water bottle pockets stretch quite a bit so I think it’s possible to fit a 32oz bottle

how does it compare to the fjallraven ulvo 23/30?
Thank you for watching! I’m actually in the process of testing the ulvo 30 now:) I would say the build quality on the ulvo is a little better and it offers some additional space but the jester still feels a little more comfortable to me
@@dannypacks Good to know! I've done a lot of hunting myself, and the Jester's comfort / design is surprisingly difficult to beat ha but it's not the most durable of bags. Looking forward to your ulvo 30 video though!

I think the bellroy is better overall as far as quality, style and laptop protection, but the jester might be better if you need more space or water bottle pockets

I came across one at the Goodwill for like around nine dollars. It was dusty but it was like no I put it in the wash. Just make sure you don’t have that big thing in the middle agitator. Mine is a flat agitator and I put it on delicate cycle, it did wash it into anything damage it and just remember to leave it outside cause it. The sponge does absorb a lot of water but if it’s pretty warm outside hanging out underneath the garage or patio so you don’t get too much sunlight on it and it will dry by the end of the day And depending how dirty you have it maybe you need a spot laundry spray, but I use Tide and Tide with oxy clean included in it. Mine is a boysenberry maroon color…. A while back, I did find a black borealis it was way too big but I regret getting eggs there’s only $17 and it was clean. Yeah check your local Goodwill you can probably find something nice and clean you something hadn’t seen before buy it so it won’t be there again.
