Do you have any info on the third-party strap you used to make a luggage passthrough?

Between this and the Surge, which one would you pick and why? I am currently between the two for school and want to flex it for travel/outdoors. For school, I'll be carrying a laptop, tablet, and a journal or two.

So looking at these bags now they do not have or show the top loading feature. I think I may opt out of these because everywhere I look (Amazon, BH, Google) this 40L bag no longer has a top loading feature or they don’t show it which from a marketing POV is bad.

What laptop size on these bags???

Thank you! Their website is very weak and has no pictures of the interior. The shoulder straps and waist belt are very important to me and I didn't see you speak to this part of the pack. Also, please include running shoes and hiking shoes. Your shoes are very slim and minimal but many people on active vacations have more substantial shoes to pack. I have both Bags, the Aer is good for edc, MLC is better for travelling. MLC just holds more and seems to be the same size externally

I own the second edition of this, it's been mostly good for grocery runs and travel since it's quite a bit of depth. But I do like, helps if you carry in a modular fashion.

Alpka should be a good contender but the volume isn't 35L... There's no way. The front pockets (everything on the flap) have so little volume to them. It sucks because I like that it has a lot of pockets

It looks green in the video is it a mixture of both green and tan?

Are these bags available to see in retail stores? I don’t understand how you’re supposed to know how something is going to feel if you order online? Seeing a product on you will be very different from when someone else wears it.

Crazy. If you were to look at my search history, i was LITERALLY looking for a smaller version of the Peak Design Tech Pouch. Was looking at the Bellroy, but didn’t get it because my PD Tech Pouch was better just a little too large. Literally been looking for this! :)

Man, I hope they release a v2 of the Osprey Daylite 26 + 6 because that laptop section is a dial breaker for me.

As far as silouette, the GR2 tapers up, CTB tapers down. CTB looks like a travel bag. GR2 looks like an everyday bag. If i had to pickn one to do it all, I'd go GR2.

Do you know the exact size? Listed size 57 cm but maximum for many carry ons are 55 cm. I'm torn between this and the Black Hole pack 32.

Good review! Maybe check out the 5.11 Egor pouch. Probably one of the most underrated edc/tech pouches available.

The handle is great. And it feels nice, not bending the backpack. Can be held by two hands. Though, takes time to get used to the position

Hear me out wouldn’t it be easier to just jot down something in your phone notes app just saying misplace the pen and you’ll have a pad but nothing to write with or misplace both
