- Fathis Ulven was an assassin who had the misfortune to work for the wrong client. He spent over a century imprisoned in the darkest depths of the imperial city dungeons, before being shipped to Morrowind. There he eventually became the archmagister of Great House Telvanni, and the Nerevarine of prophecy - a reincarnation of the ancient war leader of the Dunmer people, Indoril Nerevar. Beneath Red Mountain he slew the devil Dagoth Ur, and took the fabled Heart of Lorkhan, using its divine energies to become a god, just as the Tribunal had done before him. Then, however, things suddenly all went a bit wrong...

If you're using Apocalypse magic, there's a spell "Deep Storage" that works great for helping to carry extra stuff.

Actually, with the shouts in Skyrim, I've never known why someone hasn't done a playthough as Brian Blessed as a player character.

Given I used suffer from asthma when younger.. this made me laugh out loud! 🤣 The mental image of a draugr reaching for its puffer mid-battle is pretty funny!

I'd love it if you sat down and talked with Inigo more. He has some really interesting dialog and isn't just cool quips. You can have some pretty in-depth convos with him. My favorite one is when he gaslights your character into almost achieving CHIM.

I'm loving this series so much it's encouraged me to go back and finish the OG series - when the flu just completely wiped me out for a couple of weeks, Volume III turned out to be a really great way to pass the time.

Damn you Dave, I got curious when you mentioned James May after you picked up the egg, and I spent roughly half an hour watching clips of him saying "Beans", "Egg", and "Cheese" over and over again.
Also, I *dream* of an ES game centered in Elseweyr or Black Marsh, but if it was in Black Marsh they'd have to figure out a way to explore in-lore why a non-Argonian character (the PC) is able to endure the myriad poisons and diseases that run rampant in the heart of Black Marsh.

You mentioned it offhandedly this episode, but I don't think quest items have weight, like they have a weight value, but like if you dropped all your stuff and just had quest items in your inventory I think your carry weight would register as 0, unless one of your mods changed that. Though suddenly having +however much to your carry weight after you finish a quest resulting in being overencumbered is equally annoying...
Always a delight to see a new episode! Hope the new job is working out well. CZcams/Patreon is all well and good, but sometimes it's good to have a more regular step away that kinda forces you to go out and about.

Fun fact: moonstone is an actual thing! I mean, it's not something you mine as ore, but it is a pretty, iridescent stone, usually with a little blue fire in it, like an opal.

Just in case you're not in the know he also has a Morrowind stream series that acts as a prequel of sorts to an Oblivion stream series he did a few years back.
Regarding your mousepad. One with a wrist pad might help that if you haven't tried it. The other thing is to either find a position where (wrist supported) your arm is bent in a relaxed position, or if you have arm rests in the right position, resting on that. Of course, the best thing is not to be at the computer. And a good thermal wrist wrap, the kind that has a loop that goes around the thumb.
sum of these mods seem abscholutely MINT. loving this playthrough. also totally get why youd pick up sum part time work, it somehow feels healthy to get out of the house and away from youtube to do sum hard shit. hope your body recovers
I gotta say I had to Google "James may egg clip" and wouldn't you know it there a LOT of videos with James May re: eggs and now I know how to do poach egg on toast but no clue what you were referencing.
Soup and cooked fish are my Survival go-to foods. Light weight and nutritious. Moonstone was apprently a secret known mostly to the High Elves and Khajiit. Lore from a book probably older older than ESO says that a runaway Dark Elf slave gave away the secret of Elven armor to get revenge on his smith master .It may have come from the Snow Elves and Dwemer, it is more common in Dwemer ruins than outside. They did finally tinker with the weird "slopping- jello" water on Solstheim, maybe they will do something with water physics .Grats on finding one of my favorite side quests,you found the final dungeon but it's a grueling trail to get the very excellent rewards .Not sure if Fathis has the stamina for a trudge across all of Skyrim though. lol. The rewards are an excellent necklace, a lifedrain sword, a staff that is very effective on dragons and a bow that drains magicka from foes
It's a good reminder that irresponsible adventurer's like Fathis can absolutely be why an ancient evil has returned to your RPG world lol

Ah, i keep meaning to tell you, dave. If you go into the SkyUI settings under Active Effects HUD, you can set the "Minimum time remaining" value to zero, which will make the widgets for the long-lasting active effects (like muffle) will popup as soon as you cast them, rather than when they have 2 minutes or whatever the default time left is.

I assume there is a reason why you're not using horses. But you could get a horse mod and use that as a pack horse to store all the extra camping gear and armor and weapons
Dave has the mod you're talking about, he used it for his Claudius character. :) Fathis associates horses as food instead of mounts.
@@Locutus0fBorg i figured there was a reason, i just didn't know why he wasn't using horses, and as far as i can tell he does not hat that mod installed in this one. I also considered the possibility that Dave likes the challenge of a restrictive carry capacity

Dave why not just increase your carryweight via console commands by the amount your companions would carry? Acts like a group carryweight without the faff.
