I hope this isn't weird but my husband and I randomly came across your video and we had all of our fingers crossed and starting cheering and crying when you got into Harvard!!!! You have obviously worked so hard and deserve this. I hope you end up going there - you have so many wonderfuk schools but take it from someone older, going to Harvard will open a lot of doors to you for the rest of your life. That network is so strong across the entire world and will benefit you for a lifetime, no matter what you decide to do or where you decide to go. Best of luck no matter what you choose!! Hi Sofia, I love to look at college decision reactions for some positive energy every once in a while. Yours was so heartwarming, and it was lovely seeing a young, hardworking Latina get into such prestigious schools. Congratulations to you and your family! As a first-gen college student myself, I know how much this means to them. I saw in your Standford handwritten note that you were interested in International Relations. I just wanted to recommend you take a look at future graduate programs like The Pickering, The Rangel or the Payne in the future if you are ever interested in a career as a diplomat. They fully pay for grad school and guarantee a career in the foreign service after graduation. I would be happy to share any info about grad school and IR careers if you're ever curious. Best of luck!

on-site admissions sounds so cool! that's gotta be such a great way to make the process a bit less stressful (and if any of those schools is your top choice, you don't even need to do the applications for all those other schools?!) - not that you needed to use the on-site process anyway judging by all these acceptances hahaha. Im so glad a fellow Latino has done it. A true example of hard work. I got into U Penn, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Columbia, Princeton, Stanford and more. A total of 21 this is 12 years ago. Congratulation all the best to you and future goals and successes. I wish all the best to you at Stanford.
