I’m camping in my van again and meeting some wonderful people whilst travelling!
I swapped out dairy milk for Oatly in my pancakes and it tasted lovely!
Full recipe -
100g plain flour
300g Oatly
2 eggs
A little bit of salt!

Don't forget most of these countries have wild animals such as bears which can be very dangerous, they can smell food from miles away. Be careful.

Absolutely love Czech food, and the people! Prague is probably my favourite European city, although I’ve stayed in Pilzen too and visited the same brewery. We were over for the world trials bike championship!

Another great video. And you got me fancying pancakes in the morning. I am from the Northwest of England and pancake recipe in my area is simple, one cup of flour, one cup of milk and one egg. Its quite a thick batter but makes nice thick fluffy pancakes.

I use a carpfishing sleeping bag where i sleep in naked to 0°c easy. Only my head gets cold and i wear something warm on it.
If it gets colder than freezing point , i wear pj's or clothes.
I dont have a heater with me

If you want a halfway bike between road and
mountain I can highly recommend a gravel bike, specifically a British made Sonder Camino from Alpkit. I love mine, it can go practically anywhere but it’s still good on road. If you want practical storage I’m not sure about baskets but they do loads of good bags (crossbar, stem, handlebar or stem mounted).

If you're thinking about getting a bike then I think you should get a hybrid, so you can use it both on and off road! I've got a Specialized hybrid, it's really good. Can't wait to see what you get up to in Berlin :)

A gravel bike that you could gear towards a touring bike is a really nice marriage between mountain bikes and road/commuter bikes. I just got one at the tail end of September and I'm loving the ability to ride at decent pace on the road but be able to take bike paths and dirt/gravel/rocky-ish trails. you can definitely find some affordable entry level bikes that you can add upgrades overtime, or pay a little extra for those upgrades already installed. also it might be worth seeking out your local bike shop back home, that way you can get a bike that's tailored to your needs and specs as well as a go-to for any sudden repair needs...or upgrades if you don't feel wholly confident (I'm getting mine to switch my tires to run tubeless tomorrow so i don't get flats as much)
really enjoying this series, and it'll be cool to see some possible bike touring/bikepacking or just plain old bike riding in future videos to come.

Hey man, the combo between a MTB and a road bike is a GRAVEL BIKE!
It has the frame of a road bike, but higher ground space, and wider tires
As someone who works in a bike shop I would recommend a hybrid or older mountain bike. Both of them are relatively light and will work on road and on gravel. The mountain bike will have better tires and suspension for rough terrain but this will slow it down on the roads. I wouldn't recommend something high tech with full suspension or disk brakes because this then becomes complicated and heavy but overall it comes down to how much time you spend on/off road. Hope this helps!

Get a gravel bike Alex - you can get a flat bar or drop bar version but they’re super versatile! The Swiss Army knife of a bike!

Hi Alex, a gravel bike would be a good half way meet between road bike and mountain bike. Its like a road bike but with larger wheels and a longer frame so you can take it off road. Loads on the market.
You could hang a 12v shower kit from the tailgate of the van.
Depends what surface you want to ride. But for convenience, and perfect for storage in your van; it’s got to be a Brompton.
