    Nice progress I bet you’re glad the queen wasn’t home Just keep in mind in a couple years you will have to clean the grill due to the buildup 👍now it’s time to take care of that nest that was in your tree🍻🍻👍✌️🤙❤️🇵🇹❤️

      for sure! but would rather clean the grills than deal with those nasty wasps again. I am going to wrap the tree with cling film instead of what was recommended, filling the trunk with expanding foam 🙄.
      Have a good week John👍🍻

    Hoorah! You survived. I survived watching you survive. Glad the Asiatic wasps nest is gone, now all you have to worry about is monkeypox.

    There's never an idle day on the farm. You certainly can get things done. I live in a rural area.(Nova Scotia) I often encounter farm machinery of some sort going from a to b. They bounce like crazy while going down the road. I suspect the tires are filled with air.🙂👍👍👍

    • @FontedaPipaPortugueseFarmLife
      @FontedaPipaPortugueseFarmLife  Před 2 lety +2

      They probably have water and also using huge machinery which makes tractors bounce down the road.
      Have a great week ahead 🙂

    Another very busy and interesting week on the farm! Ollie and Yana are certainly learning all about the ins and outs of farm life, while being extremely helpful. They will be experts by the time they have their own

    Hi Alex and Co. Wasps nests I hate....the grills look amazing and worth every penny. A job well done as usual that will last the test of time. Sorry about the jeep, in good hands with Alex,the machine wizard. Pipes and leaks all sorted now. Goats having a good pedi, on going job. It's heating up so fast this year 41 for me at the min,no cloud or rain. Why do you put water in the tyres? Stay safe everyone, thanks for sharing.

      @FontedaPipaPortugueseFarmLife  Před 2 lety +2

      Thanks Anna, yes i dont like being on the roof at all, no fear, i hid it well 😂 and also wish i had got all the nest down as there is still a lot in there but it is slowly falling apart and bits coming out, shame as would have been great to see a nest that big.🙂

      @@FontedaPipaPortugueseFarmLife Yes! Both my husband and Dad fell whilst doing high ladder work..one fractured his spine the other his skull...and lived to tell the stories . The ingenious solution of the Mesh was worth it🥰

    Too bad you don't have a drain snake and esp one that fits a camera on it..then you could see wherever the end of the drain snake goes...might be fun to have just to look in any holes, see what's in there...

  • @maryr7593

    Watch out for filming in shade...it's a bit hard to see...that's where the ring light would be helpful...or a work lamp...

    Wouldn't lighting a small fire cure the wasp problem in the chimney?

    • @FontedaPipaPortugueseFarmLife
      @FontedaPipaPortugueseFarmLife  Před 2 lety +1

      No we did it before with long sticks up the chimney, it is right at the top of the chimney so the flames don't burn it just smoke it. Now they shouldn't be able to get back 🙂
