Thate exactly what I did recently as well. Took a cheaper hwy 1 strat, put a Floyd on it, job in the bridge, and I’m ready to go. Really wanna get bigger frets soon though. Been playing through a jcm900. I love it now, but you kinda gotta figure out how to dial in good tones. Great amp for the Van Halen stuff for me. Very cool though bro, I dig it a lot. Having a strat with a humbucker and a Floyd is like driving a hot rod. Everyone neèds at least one. And tbh, that’s enough
This is not a cheap guitar and I didn’t do anything to it. I think someone switched out the pickup, but this is a series Fender released about 20 years ago
