I'll never understand why people made such a big deal about the Luke/Leia kiss. It's VERY clear that she only kisses Luke to make Han jealous. There's no other scenes of romantic tension between Luke and Leia in the trilogy, only between Leia and Han. That's why Leia and Luke being siblings made perfect sense. The TRUE love story is set in stone in Empire Strikes Back, in the epic carbonite scene where Han is frozen and Leia confesses her love.

iluvlafferty It’s still just wrong. I don’t believe Leia was originally intended to be Luke’s sister. While Return of The Jedi is still a great movie for the most part, making Luke and Leia brother and sister makes the other two movies awkward. He was crushing on Leia big time in the first one, and then there’s the kiss scene which is extremely uncomfortable after watching Return of the Jedi.

I absolutely adore these two. Their chemistry is incredible. I could watch and rewatch their scenes over and over and I would never get bored. One of the most kickass and beautiful couples in cinema history. Can't wait for some cute moments in ep.7.

Love when the building is collapsing and Han grabs her arms and says, "Come on, that's it." No way he's gonna allow harm to come to her.
Notice how he protects her when that ice falls in the tunnel. An early indication that he cared about her.
Also they are one of the best couples ever.

I love when he grabs her hand right before they face Vader. Since, it's all he can do.
"They never even asked me any questions". That line from Han alone shows how sick minded Vader had become. He literally tortured a guy with electrical shocks (and who knows what else) not to get information, but just for revenge.

To me the funniest thing about their argument at the start of Empire was that it was clearly a normal occurrence. All the Rebel officers just steer clear and don't interfere.
