It's always good to have a cup of coffee with you, Erik. Morning coffee, holy moment.
I really enjoyed watching this with my breakfast 🍳 so much better for the soul than turning the TV on. Your films are of the highest quality video and sound and I really like the simplicity of your camping set up. Thanks again 👍🇬🇧😄
Thanks, it is appreciated! Atb
For those who reading live happy, stay safe and erik stay safe and make videos for us.

I love sounds of nature, so calming, relaxing, healing
What a wonderful weekend. Yesterday I was wandering the mountains and today I am watching Erik's video where he is wandering. Beautiful shots of enchanting nature, morning coffee, everything as it should be. 🙃
I also make a thumbs up every time you do one after sipping that fresh coffee. Stay safe always.
Me too! 😀
LoL---I do the same thing.
And me 👍🏻
& me too
Been feeling like autumn in England for at least a week, some of the trees already changing colour. Thanks for the insight to a wonderful landscape.
Translation for the end =)
*"I started the trip at "trollforsen", "Pite älven", first night. Then i drove here to "Revio" nature-reserve, a couple of Km south of, and pitched camp on top of "akkatjåkkå", northern parts of "Reivo", with miles-long view. But it is a cold morning, maybe 5 celcius, biting cold. The end of August but it feels like autumn."*
Thank you.
Not all heroes wear capes..! Thanks for translating this! 🍻👍🏻
There are subtitles aswell
Do you know what he put on his bread at 12:46? I'm definitely curious.
@@waldo9254 hehe a "Ham and Cheese" soft-cheese from the company "Kavli", which are big in Sweden(originated in Norway) in making soft cheeses, kaviar, mayo, dressings etc in soft metal tubes, tough they come in bigger containers also ^)^
Wow! that's a river. Here in Southern California (USA) it is mostly desert where I live. I love my beautiful desert; but I must admit I would love to see this amazing land of water and green things that you share with these videos. In our local mountains we have pine forest, but even there, when a creek is six to twelve inches wide, and it take twenty seconds to fill a liter bottle with water, we say, "that creek has good flow." Backpacking in my mountains is a strategy of making it to a water source each day if you can. Backpacking in the desert means carrying all your water or cashing water in locations along the way days before. But I love backpacking solo for two or three nights in our vast desolate desert. I think you would love it too. I am sixty-two and I know I'll never make it to Sweden, but if I did, I would skip the cities and ask you for some tips on where to go. Beautiful video. Great work. Thank you.
Thank you Michael, I've been in a desert once in my life, that was in Morocco, and since then I have always wanted to see a desert again! I hope one day I will.
You have a beautiful country. God bless you.
Coffe, a Tent and beautiful Landscape, it couldn‘t be better. Thanks Erik!
My favorite activities are camping, hiking and canoeing. Watching your videos motivates me to take my next adventure, and I love the planning process as well. I enjoy the silence in your videos; just listening to sounds of nature as you go about you're daily routine brings me there. I am planning to go winter camping, in a hot tent in Vermont. Being in nature helps me focus on the present moment, which is necessary as I go on solo trips. It's hard work at 73 but there is nowhere I'd rather be.
I really miss these moments of hiking from when I was younger. Although I also acknowledge how physical hard it was at times 🙏🏼
In a world full of noise and distraction your videos permit us to spend a moment enjoying some piece and solitude. The camera helps us to focus on the landscape and the small details too. I went for a hike with a couple of friends yesterday, but when they left to go home I was pleased to go on further and take the time to absorb my surroundings, the colours, the sounds, the tranquility.
Indeed! Being alone out there gives you a nice connection to nature and the surroundings. And the camera is a good friend, and keeps me busy :)
Stunning nature reserve. Tack for showing
Beautiful landscape and greens.❤❤❤❤😷😷😷😷
Great video Erik. :-) 3:27 :Oh Man! I forgot my toilet paper!

Som balsam för själen. Tack Erik!
Dette er så bra film og vi gleder oss til å se dem. Takk for at du deler dette med oss, Erik Normark!
Superb
that one day, towards the end of summer, when you feel the weather turn and you know autumn is on the way. that is always the best day of the year for me.
one of my favorite channels to watch
I like that you put the names of plants and insects you encounter.
excellent as usual well done Erik
Ah Erik, the Clint Eastwood of outdoor videos. Always a relaxing journey but music!? I nearly died of fright ;-) Happy camping and thank you for all your content. Andrew
Great stillness in this video Erik. Breathtaking landscape shots. Thanks for taking us along.
Those blueberries looked so good! My grandparents would always take us into the forests as kids to pick some fresh blueberries. Some of the best fruits I ever had :)
Nice film as always. Just came back from tenting in Verdals-grønningen, middle ofNorway. Shorts and t-shirt during the day, but needed down jacket by the night-campfire. Around 1 degree at the coldest. Next day started cold but I ate my dinner in my underware only. And then a bath. 🤪🥶
I love hearing your voice
I guess bears are rare enough in Sweden to the point where eating/cooking at your tent is no problem. Another great Normark adventure! Thank you!
We're not a convenient food source, since we're the one species they see as a potential risk. Don't leave food out, and if you encounter a bear, stay calm, let it know who and where you are (talk, stay upwind), and give it space. If it approaches, go back whence you came. There's enough land.

Typically, if a Swedish brown bear sees you first, you won't see him. They will avoid human contact. They are mainly vegetarian and will only attack if driven into a narrow situation or with cubs. E.g. Polar bears just see you as food so get the hell out haha. Mooses are just a-holes so watch out. They are big and they know it.
Great hike, top notch filming. Those views are incredible! Very inspirational, thank you 🙏
Thanks!
Beautiful video beautiful nature gorgeous 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Tack så mycket, Erik. Those pancakes at the beginning of your video look familiar. My grandpa was born in Ljusdal and came to Canada when he was a kid. He made pancakes like that.
I'm from Ljusdal, born there, lived 16 kilometers outside Ljusdal untill I was arround 20 years old and moved away.
@@anderspersson7084 That is awesome. Was it an interesting place to live?
Breathtaking views and wonderful ecology. You're a lucky man to have all that to hike in. Thanks for taking us on your trips.
I've always appreciated your identifying the birds you encounter. Now I know you really know your shit too.
This is punching me to get myself moving during the weekend 🏕️
Incredible!
Thank you, Erik. The way you tell the story makes me feel both inspired and calm, almost relaxed. I watch often during nighttime when I cannot sleep. And your films make me relax and start dreaming about being outside in the wilderness.
Excellent video!!!
Very treed. Nice tent! Beautiful views! Coffee time!😉🇨🇦👍💜
Great video. It had the rich colour of a 1950s film. 5c is a little cold for August but it won’t be long until we see you sleeping on a frozen lake again! Take care ❤️ 🇨🇦
Very beautiful country there!!!
Great job, always enjoy watching your videos!
06:55 vs. 09:50 would be hilarious: "If it's black inside: It's a bear. - If it's grey inside: It's a köttbullar." ;-D
Thats the way to live erik, relaxing inspirational, calming and a good coffee, keep the videos coming, cheers

Great Sound and Landscape - great Video 👍 - greetings from Bavaria.
Hallo Gerhard, Schön, dich hier auch zu sehen!
I just love the videos you post Erik. Fascinating view, wow!!
Snyggt Erik.
