Excellent ! A video that includes the audio is RARE on CZcams. Thanks for not adding musical noise like so many others. 👍 Hearing what we are seeing is nice! I feel like I was there 🤗
Finally! Someone who puts out silent, peaceful videos! Thank you!
With all the North American 'Thru-Hike' people all over CZcams banging on throughout the whole video about their 'baseload' and 'dry weight' and Dyneema products, it is incredibly refreshing to watch Erik's videos and just enjoy the incredible sights and sounds he captures so artfully. Erik encapsulates the thing I miss the most about living in Europe (I am an Aussie from Melbourne who lived in Germany for a few years), and that's the way Europeans just don't talk unless they truly need to, unlike North Americans who turn every video into a gear review or verbose opinion piece about the surrounding area. Additionally, Erik actually gets off the beaten path and uses a compass and topographic maps, unlike the North Americans who just 'thru-hike' down well-worn paths such as the Appalachian or Pacific Crest Trail - I've studied a few of the locations Erik has shared in the video description, and these places are no-joke locations NOT for the rookie hiker accustomed to paths and helpful signage along the way. A few of Erik's videos showcase treks that exceed 50km through tough terrain with no vehicle access, taking all of the food he needs for those 96-120 hours of trekking (fresh, drinkable water is plentiful in Sweden).
Erik, you are a poet. I can see the depth and warmth through the way you look at things. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Your films are pure therapy. Thank you!
The colors of autumn are a favorite. Capturing the herd of reindeer on video was cool. Cheers.
I like that there was no commentary except for the morning coffee, it gives a sense of silence and nature sounds when you are on your own. Perfect way to escape routine life.
Seeing you using butane is like a non sequitur Eric. That well-used Trangia kettle has become like a character in your videos.
... почему-то вспомнилось выражение - "жизнь в каждом вдохе" ... из фильма "последний самурай" ...
Отличные видео! Спасибо Эрик!
Thanks!
Thanks once again Eric. Your work has rapidly become the yardstick of what an “outdoor” video should be!
Autumn colours and the winds of change. Different light, chill in the air; the vegetation smells earthy. Soon the sound of snow crunching under boot. 🍁🍂
These are films - not videos!
You are an artist!
Love it!
Thank you!
I love that you record the sound of the wind, not just the wind hitting your microphone. It's like being there. Thanks, Erik. 🙂☕👍
Japan is about to enter autumn, but it seems that northern Sweden is already heading for winter. Please be careful about your physical condition and continue to take beautiful scenery.
I absolutely loved your reaction when the rain began while you were making coffee! That was first time I laughed out loud while watching one of your videos. Thank you for transporting me into the northern wilds!
Swedish nature is amazing already, but you manage to capture it so beautifully every time, its art! Thank you very much Erik for your work.
very spiritual and colorful video Erik, the nature is a pure beauty, thank you.
Fall is my favorite time of year! Beautiful colors. Thanks for bringing us along!🤓🇨🇦
Thank you for providing the map at the end. Whenever I go out; reading at the map before, during and after the trip is relaxing and helps me enjoy the experience even more. 👍🏼☕️✌🏼
Does anybody know what kind of map it is? I try google maps and garmin maps (it meens open street map) and it seems not that case. Thank you

When I watch erik video 📹 i am just of the world, I can't explain in words. Mesmerizing to watch. Be safe Erik and make such type of content for us. May god bless you.
Love from India 🇮🇳 ♥
Det svenska svårmodet och det heliga morgonkaffet. Fina bilder.
Wow that opening shot! First 4 seconds of those birches are spectacular.
Really like your productions/trips Erik, the visual & audio quality is outstanding. Particularly like the way your script Nature’s visual images & audio together to tell the story. The absence of a talking commentary really adds to the enjoyment of watching your experience, I feel I’m there alongside you. Thank you for the technical expertise and crafting of the videos and your love of Nature you share with us. And really like the ‘Signature’ “Morning Coffee” from yourself, that just adds to the enjoyment 😊👍 All the best, and Thankyou 😊 Ps. I’m a fellow hiker from Australia, your trips are very inspiring 👍
I appreciate it very much Mike! Thanks!
There is nothing more relaxing after a long day of walking, then a cozy tent, a cup of your favorite beverage, a nice book and it starts to softly rain. Good times.
The whole video is a holy moment. Thanks Erik.
Nate
Extraordinary and beautiful scenery that I kept repeating, "Oh, so pretty". And Reindeer too! That was so relaxing to watch. And a map of your expedition! Thank you Erik 🐞🇭🇲
Thanks Trudi
Yay, new video! The colors in this one are so diverse. Nature is pretty indeed...
Erik has a new jacket, love watching your adventures, just not long enough, thank you.
we all need to make our own adventures!
Maybe theres part 2 hehehe
Probably for free, he had both cap and other jacket from same brand in previous video.
That is the most common brand in Sweden
me too.
When you spoke I nearly had a heart attack...
😄
As someone else mentioned, not only do I love the photography, but the audio is far above average as well.
Great video!
Thats what you get with a good knowledge of sound recording and 1000€+ microphones
Spoiler
Verlorener Junge he did a video on how he does his videos. He does have some pretty sweet equipment, but he also over dubs sounds, like when there is a shot of a river, he may add water sounds.
Still, either way, you still have to know how to use the equipment, and have a talent for video.
That made my Fall equinox!! Thank you Eric and Trail on!!🥾👍
Tackar 😀 blev perfekta lunch klippet för att drömma mig bort .
Thank you for the video. This is the divine Sweden, which gives the impression of a fairyland.
Excellent video Erik. I love autumn, the air is crisp and the colours are splendid! Keep safe my friend👍☕️
Hello Erik, as always a very nice video (unfortunately too short). Thank you for all the work and for the beautiful nature photos. I wish you a lot of health and energy, now the cold season is starting again. Thank you very much and I hope for many great videos from you. 🍀🐞🍄
Perfect timing. I was just about to drink my morning coffee 😊
🙂🙂
☕👍
All of us who love Erik’s videos-we come from different countries, have different stories of our own to tell, different problems on our shoulders. But none of that matters, because we can all understand and share the joy of a hot cup of coffee. Cheers! ☕️
here is all perfect.
The heather, the lichen, moss, birch and evergreen trees. Water everywhere! Watching your videos over the past few years has made me fall in love with your part of the world.
Absolutely stunning scenery Erik! The sound production is 1st class too - especially the subtle J-cuts. Love this!
J-cuts and rare music introduction is so good. Love Erik's style.

SubhanAllah. All praise to the creator of the wonderful nature. Thanks Erik for your hard work.stay safe from the wild animals.
Love that halo around the sun in 3:45
Some beautiful land you got there. Reminds me a lot of some parts of Canada.
Watching Eric brewing coffee makes me feel like I was looking at 野点 (NODATE - Our Japanese Outdoor Tea Ceremony)
I have seen a lot of your videos. You show us awesome pictures of fall in Sweden. You should get a medal for your work from your country. I would give you the gold medal for it.
That would be a great honor! :) Thanks
Hello Erik, greetings from Northern California. It is good to see you again. Thank you for sharing another beautifully filmed video. You always do a great job of filming. California forestlannd is burning up this year. We have lost over 4 million acres this year due to fires. I'm captivated by your videos. Please keep up your great work. All the best to you for your good health and safety. 🤗
Thanks Ronald! It is very sad to hear about the fires over there. Hope you get lots of rain.
A beautiful autumn outing and a pleasure to watch. Great cinematography and editing! There’s a lot of good craft in your work, thanks for sharing.
Toujours un plaisir ces moments partagés dans ces belles solitudes. En espérant vous y retrouver bientôt. Amitiés de France
Absolutely beautiful scenery and atmosphere, you have such a gift in capturing everything splendidly. The colours of the landscapes are magnificent. The sound is amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Brilliant. Captured the stunning beauty of color, light, and shadow in nature. One of your best. Thank you.
Looks very much like the Adirondacks New York.. beautiful colors in the landscape! Love the reindeer 🦌
Beautiful country and time of the year, I love the remoteness.
Great video production.
Watching your video from New Zealand I could feel and hear the vastness and beauty of your Northern Sweden, Autumn colours were magnificent. Thank you for sharing a beautiful video with us all.
In my humble opinion some of your best work yet Erik. You deserve much for your effort. Thank you.
Thanks Bill!
I am new to your channel. There are several CZcams channels like this that I watch regularly. Yours is becoming my favorite. Although I'm from Southern California desert country, a totally different environment, we seem to enjoy the same experience. It is the simple, quiet, solo hike or backpack that prefer the most. Great video production.
Great video as usual my friend! Some things in life require little or no words , to be truly appreciated.
I think this is now my favourite video of yours Eric. Your photography and editing is always excellent but this one seams to be on another level., helped no doubt by the extremely beautiful scenery.
I'm glad to hear that Martin, thanks!
Skink ost I tub + bacon med nudlar.tack för tipset !
What a vast country. Very beautiful.
I enjoy your great audio. Great Videos is what most youtubers achive easily, but just you, nature and great audio is what makes you special. Thank you!
I appreciate that, thanks Ben!
Immensely relaxing to watch and inspirational to go out and seek nature myself. Gratefull for YT to pop this one up. Can't believe I've missed this one since it's from two years ago and I'm following more that five! Looking foreward to my upcoming adventure: Sulitjelma and Saltfjallet in full autumn splendor. Two more weeks before departure...
Excellent video as always. Great video and outstanding audio. How can anyone give this a thumbs down? Always enjoy watching. Your work is very calming and makes me forget the turmoil that the world is enduring. Be well and stay safe.
Your videos are one of the best ways to enjoy my morning coffee even more. Chears!
Wow!hands down this is by far the most relaxing and amazing camping video I ever saw on CZcams.sir you earn the new subscriber
I love the way nature speaks to us. That rustling of air through grass and the gushing of water running over stones. And then there is Erik who is all quiet and humble leading us towards the fairy meadows of Earth ❤

Beautiful videography.
Hiking SE Lappland in September, enjoying the stunning scenery while sipping coffee...it doesn't get much better. Excellent video!
Härliga färger Erik...och lurad igen på att ingen tumme upp kom på första kaffe scenen 🤣👍🌲🍂🍁
Tack Jens! En vacker tid nu! Ja jag håller igen på tummarna lite på mina längre turer :)
Absolutely inspiring videos Erik. Please be safe and watch out for for those reindeers!
That was a really brilliant video. Sweden looks a beautiful country. You are lucky Erik to live where you do.
Love morning coffee thumbs up!
Wonderful in every way.
Brilliant Erik
the sound in 3:33 is soooo good.
Its very beautiful... Wow! I wish I visit such before my last breath...
Thanks for again a beautiful video. Good idea the map with the route at the end.
Perfect trip. Excellent video.
Looks like the leaves are turning, it's autumn now with winter on the way. Then we'll have wonderful videos of this white wonderland.... Nice to see you using a map too Erik not a phone.
Excellent video Erik. The colours are breathtaking. Won't be long before the snow is back.
Beautiful, oh so beautiful!
I planned for a fishingweek in just that area, now you have ruined my plans ;).
To follow the seasons with you is nothing but enriching.
I wait with big expectations for your winteradventure. They are definitely something rare and special.
Thanks! Sorry about that :D Have a nice trip
Thanks for another magnificent video! Pure magic and artistry...and to see the reindeer...and the frog...ahhh...amazing...
The fall colors are beautiful
Thumbs up, sir. Thank you for your exquisite work. Thank you for your lovely quiet ways.
Excellent video! This is the best time of year!
Thanks Kevin. Yes, I love this season! Atb
What beautiful colours; rocks, mosses, lichens, leaves, really stunning scenery and all to the gentle patter of rain. Thank you Erik.
Enjoyed closing shot of zipping the tent to end the hike. Thanks.
Beautifully filmed and edited. Thank you for the enormous pleasure.
A five day trek through stunning scenery with wonderful cinematography and sound condensed into 16 mins, I could've watched it for hours....Nice one Erik :)
Thanks Lucas

Very scenic and peaceful, thank you for this moment
Another great video, thanks for sharing, Erik! 👍🏽🙌🏽💚🙏🏽
You're living your best life! Thanks for sharing it.
Always a pleasure to watch your videos 🙏🏼
Inspiring. Love your work Erik!
Traveller from Poland here, I envy the solitary trips, in Cental Europe it is quite hard (but still possible) to find such vast areas of completely uninhabited land.
Great video again 😊 Makes me long for the mountains...
Fantastic as always. Thank you!
Superb.
Wow! Your sense of aesthetics is off the scale.....It's remakable that you work in a medium which has so much noise, ie, CZcams, but cut that back to absolutely the bare essentials....
Fantastic!
So beautiful colours!!!!
Nothing like the Fall colours and cooler temps to make you feel alive.
