- Just a quick teaser video of us, we met up with Dennis and Michelle Holas and their fresh build 55 Chevy Belair. We got some of the crew together for a road trip to the Scott McCauley Drag Night Cruise at the church on the corner of 111th and Roberts Rd in Palos Hills. This was a great gig and we brought the heat, and the word is that Scott will be doing this every Saturday thru October, so lets take advantage of this late season opportunity, lots of action and cars to see....bring yours and be seen. The Windy City Grill ''Cruise Crew'' will for sure be returning, and we will be bringing the heat old school Duke's drive-in style. I'll be uploading a longer version filled with all the cars, people and action from this great late season cruise night. See you there. (Scott's gonna need way more room).

Nice 55. Mine will never be that good. Im 70 and never will have the time or money to do very much with it. However Ive got a Grandsomn who already claims it. He tells folks see that 55 chevy. Its mine and im gonna fix it up someday.
I feel you friend. Some of us old gearheads are starting to get ''up there'', and i too have stared into the mirror, wondering, hoping that i'll have enough time to get that last project to a place where i can at least enjoy it before my time here is done.

Thanks Rory, i'll admit i am not as familiar with 55's as some, can you tell them apart? And if so, con you identify Dennis' particular model here? I'll make the corrections! And how does one actually tell them apart?
@@OutlawMercenary there were different trim levels ; the one fifty had very little chrome , none around front or back glass ,or down the side ; 210 had chrome around the front and back glass and on top of door bottom of glass Bel-Air had that with chrome around windows and a spear ran on the front fenders if it was a V 8 had v' s on trunk lid ,hood and under the tail lights with rocket on center of hood on all models . Bel-Air had a clock in speaker with Bel-Air script the other one s had Chevrolet scripts ; I think you're getting the idea
1955 a lot of work done to it I would not like a dog inside could rip the Seats could do a number of things you spent all that time in effort to make it great and just to have something happen to it well good luck with the 55 Chevy I do like it like it but I don't like the idea of the dog going in it😃👍
