    Here's a motorhome with a difference - and on quite a scale! Find out more about the Bliss Mobil. We took a look around at this year's Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf.

    This thing is Nice; Very Nice!
    I love off-roading & 'camping' in remote places. I do believe this baby can take me anywhere.
    It is cozy & has everything necessary to feel "at home." I'll take two!

    Modified 5 ton military trucks are tougher, cheaper, and all around better than this thing. Sure you can ship your container around but if you have enough money to buy one of these trucks, something tells me you aren't worried about the cost. Modified 5 ton trucks have been proven tough and durable for decades, and you can get a company to modify one for you for under 50 grand complete with all bells and whistles, that's because you can get surplus 5 ton trucks with low hours for around 10 grand each easy

    • @harryeva1344
      @harryeva1344 Před 9 lety +2

      Moe Jaime you dont need the sun to be up you just need light so even if its very cloudy it will still work and the sun does come up in the arctic its just not warm

    • @moejaime2654
      @moejaime2654 Před 9 lety +2

      if you understood what I meant you would know that the sun in the arctic does not come up for part of the year but I guess you have never been up here have you ??

    • @inTABELLARIUS
      @inTABELLARIUS Před 8 lety +3

      +Moe Jaime You are quite right in saying that the sun doesn't come up in the arctic during part of winter, as someone who has lived in Inuvik for four years I can confirm that. But 24hr night doesn't last long before you start seeing the sun again. I don't think I need to go into details of what's it like to slowly see the sun climb higher into the sky with each passing day, and there's also 24hr daylight during the summer when the sun doesn't set. However this comment is really a response to you saying " these RVs suck! what impractical shit they are!!". It's rather obvious from this one comment that you have no clue what these vehicles really are, and what they are capable of, so allow me to enlighten you. They are not RVs, they are called expedition vehicles, and for good reason. 1. RVs carry a limited amount of water and will need to hook up to a water source for any extended stay. This particular living unit has a sophisticated on board water purification system what will actually recycle the water in the grey water tank. Once purified it will pump it into the fresh water tanks (there are two in case one gets contaminated), where it will go through active carbon filtration before actual use. The roof is designed to collect rain water. You can also collect water from just about any source and run it through the system. This has the potential of giving you an endless source of clean potable water. 2. Your typical RV has a limited power source without a running generator or plugging into a grid. The 23ft living unit has a 33kw lithium ion battery pack as its main power source which gets charged whenever the vehicle is on the move, the solar panel array on the roof is another power source ( max output on the 23ft unit is 2.2kw, that's like 22 100w bulbs worth) that is used for lighting, electronics, and for charging the battery pack when power usage is low. There's also the option of installing a 3kw diesel generator for a third power source and emergencies. 3. The use of power to keep the unit warm or cool is kept at a minimum through extensive insulating. This allows the unit to keep its occupants nice and cozy in Siberia or the Sahara, or wherever your sense of adventure takes you, roads or no roads. 4. This 20ft unit can carry provisions to last four people up to 3 months. 5. It can virtually take you wherever you want. Want to cross the Sahara? no problem. Want to cross Siberia in winter? no problem. Explore Australia, Iceland, Africa, or South America? That's what they were engineered to do, and they can do it solo (not recommended, best to go on expeditions in 3 or more vehicles). They can do all that plus everything a RV can, they are not a Ford F350 4X4 with a camper in the back. That's it in general, look them up it is interesting.

      @moejaime2654 Před 8 lety

      ok i can still say that i have what i prefer and that is my Renegade 42ft RV that is alot more comfy then living in s survival truck that you are pushing

    • @inTABELLARIUS
      @inTABELLARIUS Před 8 lety +1

      +Moe Jaime No argument here, each to his own. But if you want to go on an expedition, or just want to explore the world in a vehicle that offers all the luxury of your 42ft RV, then may I recommend the Unicat 8X8. It will cost you about 3 million.
