Hi Peter. Thanks again for your informative videos. Question: how do I get the glue off vitreous tiles bought on mesh? Sometimes they peel off ok. Have tried soaking in water. Two problems... 1. Glue gets in the way of cutting a clean line. 2. The glue adds unwanted height to the tiles. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thankyou so much. I tend to avoid buying tiles with mesh on unless I know the mesh can come off easily. The mesh is generally there so as the tiles can be laid easily however for mosaics it can be a pain. I dont have any ideas of removing it successfully as there are different meshes that the tile companies use as well as the different adhesives so some will probably be easier to get off while others will be very difficult. :)
