I heard one calling out for a mate the other night in Homosassa it was very haunting I hope it's okay.
I live around the area he's talking of I seen a huge panther jumping a fence with one leap ,and made it look so easy
We have remnant “Eastern” or “Southern” mountains lions here in Mississippi and across the Southern US. Officially local governments wont recognize them until there are confirmed sightings etc (basically until they can’t deny local sightings it any longer due to overwhelming evidence) however this is being done. Also they will claim they are coming or moving in from the Western populations however there have always been sightings here since settlers to the area wiped them out..or so they thought. They’re here. So are many other interested creatures still denied by science.

They’ve been doing that for 10-15 years at least
