Another case the dog was off leash and was attacked and dragged away by the mountain lion, but two people chased the lion with the dog in its mouth and they harassed the lion and it let go and the dog survived.

Now I just see an occasional skunk or coyote. Sometimes when I'm outside or driving with the window down I can smell a skunk. The wildlife dept called the puma “senile.” That’s about as funny as it is stupid. Did they conduct a feline psychoanalysis on her? Pumas live to be 9-11 or 13 years if lucky in the wild. It was only when we humans extended our lifespan by 100% that we started to live to an age long past wild viability and this be given the luxury of growing senile in our older years. When Pumas develop medicine and communities that support them long past their ability to hunt, and start living to 25-30 years old, then I will believe they can be senile.
She wasn’t too senile to return to the same residence and kill two goats. That doesn’t sound like senility.
That dept should just keep it real- the cat found it’s way to easy street and was settling in like a Queen who will take its pet and child subjects as a meal frequently. That’s why she had to be deposed.

What angers me the most is the people who bring these helpless vulnerable pets into their home knowing that they're bringing them into an unsafe environment, such as these in the wild where beasts lurk around nearby and can easily enter the home, their pet being the target. I've seen so many of these horrors happen where it was recorded by the owners and later put on CZcams, each time the owners of their pet who died a gruesome death due to their ignorance, negligence, are so damn nonchalant, which goes to show that they never cared about the well-being of the pet in the first place, reason why they had zero qualms bringing them into danger. Too selfish wanting a cute pet, to care that it will get savagely eaten alive by a wild cat or other wild beast. Their reaction says everything, absolutely heartbreaking and disturbing. There should definitely be a law that prohibits people to own pets in places that jeopardizes their safety.

You can have a gun in California. You just can't carry it around loaded in a pocket or purse, which I don't agree with. If you're caught with it on you, at least it's only a misdemeanor. Some states, mostly in the Northeast, would have it be a felony.

    2 takeaways....
    1. The mountain lion didn't seem senile. He seemed very in tune with his environment, which included a nice meal of goats whenever he wanted, just sitting there waiting to be had, and a door that gets left open for whenever he wants a different kind of meal such as a dog.
    And
    2. Being that it's California, I'd be surprised if her neighbor doesn't do 20 years in prison for firing his gun. Only criminals in that state are allowed to do that. I'm also surprised every antigun person in that state isn't in front of his house protesting.
