Folk Division are an popular, young and energetic two piece act based in the West of Ireland playing a unique blend of Folk, Trad and Ballad music.
Recorded Live in Drumshanbo in Co.Leitrim in the fantastic Vibes Studios.
Bright Blue Rose is an old song written by Jimmy McCarthy in 1991. Covered by many artists, McCarthy's compositions are variously described as folk & folk rock to which both styles are evident in the contemporary folk genre today. One of McCarthy's many talents was how much of his music can be interpreted differently depending on the person and how his joyful ballads can give us the sense of individuality.
