To everyone wallowing in nostalgia: I love this song because I have been a littlebee for not quite a year and look forward to opening fire on Imperium foes forever.
Ur goonswarm is a joke now. You guys were a force under mittani, feared even. Under asher now you're just passive pussies who fly ceptor gangs and can't escalate if your mother's lives depended on it.

I remember two major days in EVE history. First, the day the Goons appeared and upended the developing culture of EVE Online. This song came out soon after. And second I remember waking up one morning to the hilarity of Suas having stolen a Goon Titan because some leader or another had promised the Titan to one guy, and did a bait and switch and gave it to a friend instead....so Suas stole it because he didn't think that was OK. Goons didn't deserve Suas....amazing guy.
It was a real privilege hearing him drunkenly sing this live on teamspeak at 2am while raiding. Good times...

Wow, I haven't thought of this event for near a decade now glad to hear the song is still around. EvE was so different back then.
Idk bout the time you posted this, I had a friend doll for her. She called me out of the blue, gave me her back up account to distance it from her main to join a corp.
I got to sing this with Goons during a suite party at EVE Vegas, and it was amazing.

No, that was Fanfest in 2008. I've never been to Fanfest, and I was still in the Army in '08.

Lots of fond memories from that game. A truly unique and underrated piece of gaming history that has more drama packed into it than all the rest of the MMOs out there all together.
I could not bring myself to devote that much of my life to a virtual existence any more, but I never once regretted the close to 10 years I spent playing EVE. Here's to you, Suas, hope you are still around and kicking (ass). Oh, and you are a bastard for ruining let it be forever for me :) Every time I hear those tunes, I hear and hum little bees instead of the original.

Hearing this again makes me want to play EVE Online again and sign back up with the Goons. Sadly, I just don't have the time anymore to play. :(
EVE Echoes launches in 9 days, its basically EVE on mobile just a little redesign on the mechanics and engine for new styles of play and I happen to be good friends with a few of the goons playing on echoes. Give it a look over maybe go hit them up, see whats goin on

sorta, they're part of imperium nowadays. Suas is gone, he's still around on YT (Shutupandshave) and despite all the hate he received, he left in good old goon fashion by stealing a titan (biggest and most expensive ship in the game) and making a song about it.
Short answer: Yes. Real Answer: No, what made goons great back in the day died a long time ago. They became what they hated.

I dont have a copy of the lyrics, the artist is none other than suaz, the guy who stole a titan from goonswarm after he defected, hes got many more songs out there, i merely took the song and shared it because i liked it, outside of the game idk his handles but if you google from there you cant not find him, hes rather popular! Good luck!

the world has changed and's goons with it. we are still accused of being toxic and are fighting a war of extermination because of the perceived toxicity. we will win of course but it's been bloody.
Fun fact: The really cool guy who sung this was a spy who ditched your shitty alliance stealing a CONDI Titan while doing so - thus giving Goons some of their own medicine. Awesome work and song there :P
