Hi, and welcome to this video on the Age of Exploration! The Age of Exploration, or the Age of Discovery, saw an assertion of European power that hadn’t been seen since the time of the Crusades. Lasting from the 1400s until roughly the early 1600s, this era witnessed new European exploration of territories in Africa, Asia, and the Americas via the major oceans of the world.
