Another great segment! Some people are complaining about it being short, but I've enjoyed the anticipation of seeing each episode. Those warrior snorkels are awesome as well as that rad-relocate! I can't wait to see this monster rip!!!
Thank you Vincent, I'm glad your enjoying it, I had a blast building it. Only one more build then we put it to the test.
Great choice on the snorkels and Radiator relocate. The fact the radiator tilts forward will help in getting anything plugged up in that rad out easily by putting water through the back side. The snorkel kits sure have come along way in recent years from just some scheduled 40 piping poking through a pod. All in all great build so far!
Thanks, we couldn't agree more about the parts, they have all come so far and are reasonably priced too. I love the tilting rad for getting crud out easily.
To be honest this series is the only videos of yours i watch
Well there is lots of other good stuff on our page, but I'm guessing from your name the other stuff isn't as relevant to what you like.
This is the best program on CZcams
Thanks Shane, we really appreciate you watching!
Sweet!!! Almost there!!!
Great Build. It is turning out perfect.
Thanks, we are pretty happy with it, I'm anxious for everyone to see how it actually worked. Soon!
Love those snorkels!
Yeah they are pretty sweet, really nice fitting kit.
James King I
Can't wait to see the finished product 👍
I think the final story turned out really good, totally real too, we just showed it as it happened. It'll be up soon!
When you apply dielectric grease, it's not conductive, but instead is used to keep the rubber seals in the connections sealed for the elements. By putting it in the actual connections you're actually placing an insulator in your wire connection. Sparing amounts on the rubber seals and such is where it is doing its job.
Awsome! best regards from a mud loving Swede!
Right on, thanks for checking it out Johan!
This is so nice . Great job
Damn them snorkels are clean they look awesome
Looking badass so far
Thanks Luie!
Looking good, those snorkel risers are nice. Almost time to get out there and break stuff lol
Hi I'm Bryan I Like Your videos
hi I'm from Puerto Rico
Thanks Bryan, we appreciate you taking the time to watch us.
loving this
Starting to look good but why is the plastic yellow when the build is red and black?
Well the stock plastic was in such good shape we just couldn't justify the cost of new stuff. Originally I wanted to get it Rhino lined but nothing sticks to that stuff for stickers.
Dirt Trax Television its called vinyl
Seen this at part 5 and have been waiting for this! I was really hoping to see this thing in action this time, oh well great video, can't wait for the next one, hopefully it'll be riding time!
Just one final build and then we throw it in the mud. It's a great final 12 minute story, and as honest as it gets.
you guys are amazing
Thanks Colby, we only get to do this because people like you take the time to watch so thanks for tuning in and checking out our channel.
Congrats on 100k
Thanks very much, we were pretty excited about that.
Must cost alot to build this atv
Cody Albert they ha
Yess!!!!!
Please do more vids like this series
We will do our best, we try to keep everyone pleased and so it's hard to cover all aspects of ATV and SXS riding. However with that said I wanna build another mud racer!
What do you recommend what type of snorkel should I get for my Yamaha grizzly
I want to see this rig run against ostacruiser, bad ass competition.
I'm guessing if it's his stock 1000 this will beat it as we are running significantly more HP than a stock 1K. But your right it'd be a cool shootout. If only he didn't live 40 hours away.
I’m new to this would this snorkel set up work on my 2002 Polaris sportsman 700
Can you please mack your videos longer
100k all the way
Yeah we are pretty stoked about it too!
what did you do to the clutching?
once u crushed tires , how tall are they now ,Thanks
Come on Dirt Trax, crimp connectors? Please use solder and shrink tubing, the mud and water will corrode and eventually break the wiring. This will cause resistance and electrical issues down the road
I know, I know. I was just showing what came with the kit. However no excuse, solder is always the right way to go.
Need to put a triumph rocket three in a a side by side.
That would be pretty crazy, we did put a 275HP Suzuki Turbo into a Wildcat a few years back. The video's are on here under Pace Off-Road Wildcat Z1 Turbo. We did a whole build series on it.
if you come down to gatineau please let me know i would love to ride with you guys.
Thanks, we appreciate it!
once your done the build you should take that thing to rip with ostacruiser again!
loving the bike, but with the red crush locks and red on snorkles, i think you shoulda done red or black plastics.
Yeah we wanted to spray the plastics with black bedlinen, but the stickers wouldn't stick. Then we thought about new plastics but they are pricy and we thought in the long run they don't add any functionality and we were trying to stay true to the build of only adding what we needed to race it.
good videos but get to the end already
What's the name of the tires??
I know im 4 years late but... what do i connect the small lines to on my 06 800 outlander!?!?!?! I know the fuel breather but you have 6!!!????
WOW!! There's gonna be a part 7.
Who would have figured. SMH!
That you said "rad" three hundred times and not radiator made me smash my head into the wall. Fun build though. Very cool
Thanks Ryan, hope your head is ok. I think most ATVers will call it a rad, even the parts suppliers call them Rad Relocate kits.
Have enjoyed the build and actually gotten a re flash by Mr rpm after seeing this on my 14 commander limited but trying to get a simple clutch kit for 3 to 6000 ft has been very difficult any suggestions with 28inch black waters on bead locks?
If your just looking for a kit I'd try out Dalton first, they do a really good job and don't sell anything they haven't fully tested. They also sell the kits with all the weights for different elevations, if you don't find anything with them let me know.
Are you guys going to brimstone this year
I don't believe so.
Could y'all Plasti dip the plastics and do a review down the road of how it held up
We haven't had much luck with Plasti Dip holding up long term. I personally used it on some truck bumpers and it chipped and peeled off after only a few weeks of hard use. I'm guessing it'd start to look pretty rough quickly on an ATV with all the abuse from sticks and rocks. But it doesn't mean we can't try.
So for me to buy this bike off of y'all how much would it cost?😉
Raaaaaadiator? You just lost me there.
How long till next video i race cmr wich stands for championship mud racing
Next (and final) Mud Build segment will be on our channel on September 28. Then its off to the races!
@dirttraxtelevision are you going to tell us the final build cost once completed??
I can do that for ya.
awesome thank you
Yes please do tell that thanks
How about a full parts list for your fans?
Yeah we could do that for sure. I'll wait till the end then start working on it.
Where can I get those snorkesl?
Snorkels*
snorkelyouratv.com/
As Korey added, and they are really nice stuff! Called the Warrior riser.
When are y'all gonna release the new video
Stay tuned!
That is definitely the wrong way to apply dielectric grease to those connectors.
I was told to just put it into the connectors, It's been running good but we are always open to advice. I'd never used the stuff before but was cautioned to make sure we used it this time.
I apply a small amount to the face of the connector. The grease is an insulator not a conductor so getting it in the pins is not ideal.
That doesn't mean that you applied it appropriately.
Dude you are 100% correct. I see people doing this and have even had short arguments with people about it. Have had soo many units come in with electrical issues and guess what.... EVERYTHING was filled with it. Sooo many people do this not realizing how much trouble it causes.
Can I have that fouurweeler
$
be prepared to spend all of your money on that can am
From my own experience I've found that applying silicone based dielectric grease to connectors WITH silicone seals, will actually cause a chemical reaction and cause the seals to expand. Silicone grease is only compatible with rubber seals.
Good to know, thanks for the heads up.
They really like to drag out this build dont they.
Not dragging it out at all, it's just taken this long to organize parts being built and shipped to us and then getting episodes ready for Network TV.
I can understand that it takes a while to get parts due to being based in Canada and coordinating everything.
Also I know its no short process to building a bike from the ground up because I've done it before.
Not to mention the build is coming out awesome.
But to the viewer watching these videos would rather see less episodes and longer videos.
That's just my opinion and I've seen others say the same.
Totally understand, we could condense them into 10 minute builds and just wait an extra week but then folks as where we went with the builds. I guess we just have to try to keep on getting stuff as quick as we can. I'm considering doing a strictly CZcams build series, where it's lengthier and a little more rough and just filming it with some go pros and what not. Maybe a through the winter thing. I just need to get some ideas, but I'm going to post up a video asking folks to tell us what they want me to build next and go with the most requested idea.
First
Tooooooooooooo short
If he doesn't go ride this thing with ostacruiser I'll be upset
I don't have a plan to trail ride it with Osta, I wanted to Race it. But it doesn't mean we can't ride it with him, however I'd want a lift kit up in that Skeg!
sya snorkel is junk, we have replaced many of them for melting and breaking. at least 3 engine rebuilds for customers due to these shotty kits. We use Spartan kits and Spartan risers are way better and better looking
Waaayyyy too much money in something to go beat the shit out of it!
Should've painted the plastics something besides yellow🤢
your videos are cool and thanks for your honesty... I watch everyday and wish you guys the best. big thumbs up!
Thanks for the kind words!
